Pros: Great location across from the Guggenheim (10 minute walk from the City Centers, Bilbao is small). This is arguably a 5 star facility charging much lower than comparable places anywhere else.
Valet parking service, but remember to go to the alley behind the hotel, where there is an entrance that is much better for dropping off the car, and to unload your luggage.
Excellent Gym with very new equipment.
Lovely Bar with skilled bartenders.

Pros: Staff were incredible and location couldn't be beat. Parking was only €5 per day. Great restaurants with super views of Guggenheim.
Cons: Air conditioning in our room didn't work. Refrigerator was broken and there were moldy things inside.
7.5 Good
Pros: The roof terrace was the best feature of the hotel!
Cons: The room itself was small and the shower was inadequate, not at all worthy of a 5 star hotel!
6.0 Good
Pros: Since the star of any trip to Bilbao is likely the Guggenheim, the location here cannot be beat. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, and the view from the breakfast terrace is amazing.
Cons: While the breakfast does offer gluten-free options, they have not trained the serving staff on what that means. In our case this meant that - despite ordering GF bread - we were given regular bread and not told about it until we were almost done. Cool!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location across from the Guggenheim (10 minute walk from the City Centers, Bilbao is small). This is arguably a 5 star facility charging much lower than comparable places anywhere else.

Excellent Gym with very new equipment.
Lovely Bar with skilled bartenders.
Cons: The lighting system in the room was a little problematic...... Either the Master was "on" for any lights to work (if Master was "off", could not turn on bathroom lights to shower, while keeping the room lights off so my wife could keep sleeping)....
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom architecture was unique and romantic. The reception staff was incredibly helpful.
Cons: Seemed that the thermostat was not altering the climate at all. We had to keep our window open. Also hair conditioner would be nice.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel, great location, beautiful art, lovely room, nice food in the café.
Cons: Check-in, our room was not ready for hours even though we mailed in advance to say when we would arrive and the hotel had responded.

Pros: Fabulous hotel. Huge modern bedroom and bathroom. Super buffet breakfast in wonderful breakfast room. I can't speak highly enough. Thr price was absurd, 52 euros for the room, 20 euros for two breakfasts and 11 euros to park in the basement. Obviously these prices reflect the current Spanish economy and tourism, as otherwise my 83 euro stay would have been three times the price. It's a five minute walk to lightrailway station which takes you to the Gug. We walked back to the hotel from the Gug - it took about half an hour including a walk through the old town.

Cons: Only soap in the bathroom was in a dispenser fixed to the wall, and no moisturiser shampoo etc - although toothbrushes?! There was no kettle in the room, only a Nespresso machine which isn't much good for tea/ tisanes. The view was large, but not very inspiring.

Pros: The room was spacious, beautiful and well decorated! The bathroom was very deluxe and it was nice to have a choice between bath or shower.
Cons: The heating in my room did not work so I was freezing. I called the front desk and the problem was not fixed until the following day so I had to freeze that evening. I ordered room service and the chicken was very undercooked and still pink. The hotel is located quite far from the central part of Bilbao so you have to walk and take a bus, the metro, or an expensive taxi to get into central.

Pros: Clean, easy car park, hotel look good inside.
Cons: Double bed are just 2 single beds side to side not even attached together... No boiler in the room for tea.. No glass to drink the beverage in the mini bar. The hotel as view... on motorway like bridge... not really well located... Neighborhood so and so...

7.4 Good
Pros: Facilities as they stand we're terrific. Clean, contemporary. Business luxury.
Cons: Staff– a bit disorganized and not super helpful. Individually, they were polite and kind. But I expected more from a 4* hotel. Looked at me like I had three heads every time I asked for a restaurant number or a taxi. Their answer to everything was giving me a map.
LOCATION. This is BARELY in Bilbao in my opinion. The hotel is literally located on the exit ramp leaving the city. It barely fit on the map of center city. If you're going for business, it's perfect. But if you plan on exploring the city, get ready to walk, take trains, take buses, etc. I would highly recommend that tourists DO NOT stay in this hotel. It's at least a 45 minute walk from the Guggenheim & most of the tourist attractions. It is KIND OF close to the Old Part, but still a 15 minute walk.

Pros: Great central location in between the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Old Town. It is very close to very good places to eat and go out - the non-touristy ones, so a great location. Good wifi, TV with international channels. Great and varied breakfast: we especially loved the orange juice press. Very efficient and service-oriented staff. We loved it and will most likely book again, if we visit Bilbao in the future.

Pros: Central Location, clean room, friendly staff.
Cons: The room was very small. We got a good price, so we can't complain, but if we would have paid the full price we would be quite upset. This issue is particularly relevant if you consider that the hotel has a 4-star rating. They should have the same size for all standards rooms. Also, it was quite hot in Bilbao during these days, but the heat was on! So the room was also too warm.

Pros: Location was brilliant
Cons: Nice rooms cleaned every day by an excellent maid on the 4th floor. Breakfast was also great an the downstairs bar brilliant also

Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Decent location. Nice breakfast.
Cons: At check-in I was told breakfast was included, in the end in turned out not to be included... Not a huge issue for me but it should not happen. In general, I found the price-quality balance to be a bit off. But this seems to be a general issue in Bilbao, I guess demand exceeds the supply.

Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast, good location, nice staff and easy to check in and out.
Cons: There was not possible to put air condition on this time of year so it was very hot and no air in the room. We had to open the window to get enough oxygen and the noise from the traffic outside was really loud and disturbing. The drinking glass in the room were not very clean.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful. Good location.Comfy bed.
Cons: Hot water was intermitent in the shower. A tea/coffee station is expected in a 4 star hotel room, but there wasn't one.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was great - very central and convenient. Breakfast was also good. Spacious bathroom. Room was very quiet even though it fronted on to a busy road.
Cons: We had to wait five minutes for someone to check us in; the receptionist was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We had the same experience with a different receptionist on departure. On our first morning there was nowhere to sit at breakfast because it was so busy. When we did eventually get a table, we had to wait for crockery, cutlery and food to be replenished. You would think a hotel would have enough tables, crockery, cutlery and food for its guests on a Sunday morning. We had a junior suite as there were four of us. Our children slept on armchair beds which were uncomfortable and took up too much space in the narrow entrance to the room. Shower pressure in the bathroom was terrible. Bathroom supplies were not replenished as we used them up.

Cons:
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for both the port and the old town.
Cons: There are currently building works going on so the front is covered in scaffolding which spoils the entrance. The glass panels between the en suite bathroom and the bedroom do allow natural light into the bathroom but flood the bedroom with light if anyone uses the bathroom at night.

Pros: Two female travelers: Comfortable beds, safe, clean room. Just across the cool foot bridge to everything downtown. Good location -- walkable to the Gugg. Very welcoming of foreigners and most of the staff speaks English very well and were able to communicate complicated transit directions to me (like how to get to the bus that takes you to the airport) despite my limited Spanish. We were even able to borrow an adapter for our phones. It's not "the perfect" central location, but good price relative to hotels that are right at the city center.
If you want the air conditioning to cool you room down, leave a key in the placard when you leave for the day, otherwise it turns off to save energy.
Room smelled clean and fresh. We were fine with the size of the bathroom area.

Pros: The position is interesting, all the rest is awful
Cons: We have booked 2 rooms with connecting doors as family room (we have 8 and 9 yo daughters) and we got 2 rooms with open toilet at the entrance of the room (with kids is not something that you can recommend), very narrow wardrobe (not enough for 4 jackets) and rooms with a awful view on the rear of a garbage deposit. Terrible.

Cons:

Pros: Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The room was fine. But the interior designer did a very bad job. Basically he/she designed a double superior room for ONE MALE guest staying 2-3 nights on business. The organisation of cupboards and drawers was poor. There were not enough hooks etc. on the walls for coats etc. Even though we stayed only 2 nights, we still had to live out of the suitvases because there was not enough room to stow things properly. The huge amount of lobby space was underused, with nowhere comfortable to sit.

Pros: overall it was OK... the location was good, and the room was OK...
Cons: Parking price is almost 28 Euros per day... beyond expensive!

Pros: The location and the room were good, staff was friendly. Room was clean and the bed large and comfortable. Internet worked very well.
Cons: Getting food in the hotel was difficult, the restaurant was open only for groups not for hotel guests. The coffee shop was according to the information in the hotel open all day, but it served food only during set time windows. So we ate mostly elsewhere, luckily there were a lot of nice restaurants close by.

Pros: The hotel is in a fair location - about 15 minutes walk from the old town. It is clean and has convenient valet parking, if you pay 20 euros extra. The receptionists were friendly and well informed.
Cons: I'd imagined something more classic/luxury but this was a very dull business hotel with no charm and it wasn't even comfortable. The bed was fine, but it was unbelievably hot in the box like room - no a/c as they switch it off in winter. We had to open the window, which meant we had the noise from the street all night. A loud radio/TV close by wasn't switched off til 4.a.m. We hardly slept at all, and as we had to get up at 7 to catch a ferry, this was painful.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was comfortable at least!
Cons: Firstly, my friend checked in a few hours prior to me. Upon arriving later in the evening after my flight arrived, we had to go through a different back door to enter since no staff would be present. We were left on a somewhat darkly-lit, sketchy street to enter through the hostel bar. The bar was closed and there were empty beer bottles, cans, and trash everywhere (not exactly the best way to enter your accommodation). The private room we booked was very dirty. Hair was in the bathroom, the floors looked like they hadn't been washed, huge amount of dust everywhere. Not up to standards for a private room to the point we felt like we had to where our shoes inside the room. We were then woken up at 7AM the next morning to a drunk, stranger entering our "locked" private room as we were fast asleep. It was extremely unsettling and we felt extremely unsafe knowing someone entered our room with a different key. Upon testing the door shortly after we realized that even when the door is locked from the inside of the room, it could be opened (without a key) from the outside of the room. Major safety and security issue. We immediately called the front desk staff on the emergency number they provided and no one responded. We then contacted booking.com. Needless to say, we were out of the accommodation prior to 800AM on search for a new accommodation, and the only good thing about this experience is that we were refunded in full.

Pros:
Cons: The shared bathroom was really dirty. If I looked at the schedule when it was cleaned, it was some days ago. On the other hand, the dorm was clean.

Cons: My neighbor was not enough tidy to live in society , but it is up to him, not about hostel
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast tortilla was always an amazing way to start the day, also the staff was very friendly and available,
Cons: The room cards were always demagnetizing which was very inconvenient and annoying. Ãlthough the neighboorhood could look a bit suspicious at some times, nothing happened and it was very central.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and I liked the curtains. The rooftop was great and the reception gave good recommendations. Overall I really enjoyed my stay!
Cons: The kitchen could be a little cleaner. One day there was a problem with the card system to acces the building and room, so my card and many more didn't work. As it was a Sunday it couldn't be fixed until the next day. When I wanted to go back to my room in the evening I had to look for a staff member which was a bit annoying.

Pros: The location was good. It is close to the old town Casco Viejo. 5-7 minutes walk. In the old town it is very easy to take the metro or the train to other places. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: The hotel is on a hill. It is ok for me, but might be difficult for people who have trouble climbing hills. It was also not easy to find because the area is full of small streets which intertwine with each other. However once you know where you are and practice a few times - it becomes easy. One thing I was not comfortable with - they did not let me borrow an iron. They told me they didn't have it. I have never heard of that before. Every single hotel I stayed at - (even primitive ones) - let me borrow it in the past. This hotel is not primitive and often travelers need to iron - because clothes become wrinkled.
