Friendly staffs - The lady who checked us in on 3rd February 2020 was super helpful and responsive. The hotel is impeccable! We had the luxury of experiencing both versions of the Large Double Rooms, they were beautiful and extremely comfy! We had grilled chicken & meat pie at the beautiful restaurant and they were yummy!! The cafe/bar was super cosy and pretty too!
None! It was perfect for us!
The dining area and food was exceptional
There was a stale smell in the shower area which we mentioned to reception.
Just a fabulous location on the river. We arrived on a cold evening to find the hotel bar area with a roaring fire keeping the area as warm as toast. We opted for the room, dinner and breakfast option which was just what we needed after a 24 hour flight and 3 hour car trip from Sydney to London to Wiltshire. The hotel dates back 100’s of years and has been restored to a very high standard. Choose room 106 if you want to enjoy a bath in your room. Well positioned for walks around the town, short drive to Stonehenge and Avebury. Staff super helpful. All positive from our perspective and while Bath is probably more popular we are so happy with our decision to land here first.
