Welcoming.
To be honest it served the freshest breakfast I have ever had and I have travelled a lot over the years. Not very extensive in choice but if you like English breakfast it could not have been better.
Staff excellent and very friendly. Free WiFi. Decent TV and freeview. All offered for a good price.
Room was very cold even with the radiator on full all the time. The windows are old floor to ceiling single pane ones and therefore impossible to try and keep the room warm. No radiator in the en suite meant this was even colder.
Food very good, staff excellent, friendly
Room rather cold, television not in good position.
Nice area. Good parking. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

It was quiet and had the feel of a small guest house, but with far more facilities. A pleasant environment, i liked the secluded feel to the place. Compared with many other places i thought it was very fair value, in spite of some cheap and nasty room fitments. Breakfast was very good, and promptly served even when the place was very busy.
The shower in the ensuite bathroom was dire, well out of date and the shower door was broken and would not close properly. Overall, they seemed to use cheap and easily breakable fitments in the room.
Amazing location and fantastci Victorian features
Slightly dated decor although clean and tidy
Nice & peacefull.
The room was cold so requested an additional heater. Although it was summer, Hotels should ensure that the rooms are warm when you arrive.
Good location and a beautiful building. We had a ground floor room for the first night, which we found rather dark, although a pleasant room. We were easily moved to a first floor room with super views of Pendle Hill. A lovely large room. The restaurant was most attractive, with a reasonably priced menu. Good food and friendly helpful staff.
