9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff here are amazing, honestly the best i cannot fault them and they helped us with every little thing we had concerns about and made sure we left happy
Cons: i wasn't completely satisfied with certain aspects of this hotel, at a £1000 a night and still having to pay for room service for a cup of tea i found a bit odd.
6.7 Good
Pros: I liked the beach front room, was a lovely view and experience.
Cons: Definitely not worth the money per night. I have stayed in much cheaper hotels which provide the same service even better. The food options were quite poor, and for a Caribbean based hotel the food is very touristy, as opposed to local food options i.e saltfish and bakes, jerk chicken, plantain, curry goat etc. When you visit the Caribbean you don't want to be eating roast lamb and turkey for dinner, Also the fact that you can not have anyone visit the room you have just spent over 1000k a night on, its a joke. I understand not for an overnight visit but for a friend to come and visit you for a few hours, I think should be allowed considering the price you've paid.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The personal touch at this hotel is beyond 5 star. The staff is friendly and each and every person we spoke with went out of their way to make our stay as luxurious as possible. From booking taxis to looking for and locating lost luggage this group of individuals genuinely care about your stay and want you to enjoy yourself. They are happy to work at this establishment and it shows with many of the employees being 15 years plus at the hotel. A beautiful experience with lovely people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything from the wonderful staff, excellent food & beautiful accommodation...
Cons: Nothing... everything was amazing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was was absolutely amazing and friendly. Seriously couldn’t ask for a sweeter group of folks all the way from reservations to cleaning crew. Big shout out to Eva for making our stay UNBELIEVABLE!
Cons: Nothing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful setting above Grand Anse beach.
Cons: Our villa was at the top of the hill. Long and steep walk ; difficult if you're not in good physical condition.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful 30-room hotel with very helpful staff, excellent and friendly management, wonderful views and great beach cabana.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very nice, gorgeous views of grand anse from all patios. All staff were very friendly and knew us by name by the end of our trip. They booked all activities for us at our request. Beach cabana area was very nice with lots of water sport activities including kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, hobie cats and snorkeling equipment. There was also ping pong, beach volleyball and croquet by the beach. The beach side cabana provided lunch and cocktails daily which were reasonably priced. The main restaurant Savvy was very good and we ended up eating there 4-5 nights of our stay. There is nothing bad I can say about Mt Cinnamon, except the walk up the hill to our villa may not agree with some people (we enjoyed the exercise). We will definitely be going back.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything; ambience; service was tops
Cons: Pricey;
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very helpful and friendly, from the gardener to the front desk. The beach is very nice and setting excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing..all you could possible want. They did not skimp. The property was impeccable. The staff and manager were so friendly and accommodating, I wish we had more time there! We did not eat at the formal restaurant, but did have dinner on the beach Friday night and lunch. Spectacular!! We would definitely stay at this property on our next visit.
Cons: The sides for Friday night dinner, but that's a personal preference so....nothing was wrong in my eyes!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view was spectacular
Cons: Too many flies during breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the friendly reception (a cocktail and a chilled towel) to our duplex villa to the consistently good food, my wife and I had a lovely time. The staff were warm and attentive; I mentioned a noisy AC unit in our villa and it was fixed by the time we got back. Beach, water, bar/restaurant next to the beach -- all terrific.
Cons: My wife got a massage, and on her bill, it listed a 25% tax. The next line was for a tip, and she left one. When we inquired about the high tax, it turns out that was for both tax AND service; that was misleading and should be corrected.
Le Phare Bleu Villa Resort - St. George's - Bedroom
4
9.0 Excellent (194 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Le Phare Bleu Villa Resort in St. George's, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of St. George's Harbor and Grand Anse Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The environment is excellent! Not so much mosquito and flies.
Cons: The beach is so small
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice concept with these open buildings, but I think the best times of this place have passed which is a little bit sad. Swingchair on balcony is nice so is the big dining table. Aircon works nice in the bedroom (stayed in an upper floor apartment which I would recommend if you are not a big fan of insects and stuff crawling around. I am not a big fan of people passing by directly at your terrasse at any time of the day either, you experience that in some of the Villas. The area is totally safe, I don't think someone would steal anything, but I felt better upstairs. And you have more privacy). Cleaning service is provided every second day, apartment could have been more clean when we arrived, but it was handled the next time around so it was okay.
Cons: One should know exactly what you're going to get and decide if this is a thing for you: The outdoor experience has a major downside: moscitos. They are abundant here (more than anywhere else on the island), and the little water bassins and stuff like that seem to attract them even more. I think more foging needs to be done there. You can't make sure you don't get bitten. Coils and moscito repellents aren't working at all, you need to wear long sleeves and long trousers and socks when on the balcony and they even sting through your clothes. Sitting outside when darkness falls - impossible. After 5pm you are forced to go into your bedroom (only place with aircon and moscitonet) and you shouldn't use the bathroom after that time (bathroom is not en suite, you have to leave the bedroom, bathroom is without aircon). Being in the kitchen or the bathroom is a really sweaty thing, every move is resulting in sweat even at 6am in the morning. The kitchen is open, the fridge small, there is no toaster (but an oven is usable), the equipment is okay, nothing special, just enough for two people. The Wifi isn't as strong as they advertise, sometimes there is trouble with the hot water (which is no problem in the shower as the climate is hot and every cold shower is a blessing, but for cleaning the dishes you need to heat the water with the electric kettle everytime). But the staff tried to fix issues as quick as they could which was nice. Cleaning staff was very friendly. You are really far out here, you need a car, no doubt about that! There is no onsite supermarket open, the beaches in front of the Hotel are good for one photo not to swim there or spend the day. So if you are an outdoor enthusiast (and i mean that, not just loving to be outside) and moscitos and extreme heat and humidity are not bothering you at all and you like being away from it all, this may be a place for you. Yes, its nature, its pure, but it is also quite pricey for that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Wonderful accommodation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is very peaceful, making it a great place to relax and unwind. The food at the on property restaurant was very good as well.
Cons: Not applicable. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was very quiet and peaceful I love that also the balcony is very spacious to fit my whole family that was nice we all chilli there and talk.
Cons: To hot in the living room and need more tv like for each room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Unique property with its own style. Large quiet villas. Mosquito nets, bug cream, and citronella candle were much appreciated. Quality of the food was excellent - especially the pina coladas!
Cons: It took a while to understand what the resort had to offer. A list in the room describing when the restaurant was open, daily housekeeping or what was available to us in terms of water sports would have been very helpful. I know it is laid back life style, but the restaurant was very slow with service.
6.0 Good
Pros: The on-site shop and bakery was excellent. Restaurant was good. Accommodation was comfortable but not particularly well arranged.
Cons: The bedroom was small and dark and had insufficient storage space. Management was mostly absent. There were lots of items missing from the property, eg corkscrew, plug from sink, insufficient utensils.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet beautiful location
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the individual villas and the beautiful tropical gardens with hummingbirds flitting around. The location next to the marina and the little private beach was so beautiful and peaceful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Quietness, ambiance
Cons: A grocery store would be nice.

7.5 Good
Pros: Wonderful staff, nice spacious villas with full modern kitchen. Gorgeous views of Caribbean Sea / beach.
Cons: No privacy if you want the view. Curtains are white and sleeping in is impossible. Trouble with bugs from windows not having screens and no air conditioning in the living space. Only A/C in bedroom and it doesn't circulate to the rest of the rooms. Property is a little isolated and airport noise can be a problem.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Paw Paw is an excellent unit! However, I am very concerned with Maca Bana’s very low accompany rate!!!
Cons: JoAnna needs to make sure she covers everything during her check in and explanation of all aspects of Paw Paw. Had to go back to Nixon who made up for her lapses! This was also the case last year when JoAnna had just started!!

2.0 Mediocre
Cons: bugs, lizards cockroaches etc. Will never stay here again
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely wonderful with plenty to do, the beach is only a few feet away from the gate it's clean. The yard folks we're very friendly and accommodating. The resort is very inviting
Cons: A few things that did not meet my expectations but one in particular was the toilet bowl in room 202 was dirty and I could clearly see some dark strip (picture) marks. I called for wash cloth and towels, the cabinetry in that room is bad.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location, the beach and the grounds. The beds are very comfortable. Ground floor room had patio with easy access to the garden and beach. Staff are pleasant.
Cons: The room was basic although the beds were very comfortable as were the pillows.Food choice was limited and more catered to the American pallet rather than offering authentic Grenadian dishes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were traveling with friends and our kids for the Spice Island Billfish Tournament. 3 rooms total for our group. Our set up seemed the best. Paid for a standard 2 double bed room with a cot (so 2 kids didn’t have to sleep together). Got a 1st floor, 2 dbl beds and a cot with a walk out porch and beach view! This location was perfect especially with kids back and forth from the beach. And we could sit outside. Room was as requested with cot set up upon checkin. The beach was not crowded in this area (500s). Seemed more crowded at the beginning of the resort and in the middle. Only downside if I had to mention one is that there was only one 110v (US converter Plug) in the room. That being said, 4 of us with phones, cameras, other devices, hair straighteners etc survived the week without much disruption. Grocery store located across the street (closed Sunday) for drinks/snacks. Food in resort reasonably priced and good. Other restaurants in walking distance on the beach. There was a ice machine close to the room. Refrigerator, coffee pot and tea pot in room. Taxis readily available (no rental car needed) Close to airport. Will visit again and will request the same room location
Cons: Could have used more than one 110v converter.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location

Cons: Some of the staff needs to pay better attention when taking orders.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and conveniently located to the beach and pool.
Cons: The parking lot was undergoing construction and has limited parking.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Perfect location.
Cons: No working water on the resort for two days. Unacceptable for a four-star resort. People harass you on the beach and security does not intervene. Some of the employees were unfriendly. Only a few friendly staff members.
5.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: Hotel was understaffed for a busy weekend..waited 20 minutes to get server to breakfast area..large pool bar where people in the pool waited 25 mins or more for no service , finally they left!!!Terrible service was the general consensus of everyone...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed and location
Cons: No breakfast on Tuesday mornings
7.0 Good
Pros: Greenery around was lovely and pool area nice however I am not a fan of deep pools so tended to stay in shallow area. Think depth could be graded.
Cons: Dissapointed that the restaurant was only open for limited time and did not consider it value for money
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was good for me for diving and with a forested hillside backdrop it was very pleasant. Cafe next door by the swimming pool was very pleasant and food generally good. Shopping centre closeby with cafes and supermarket.
Cons: I sent three messages to the hotel during my first week elsewhere in Grenada asking for a ground floor room as I had hurt my back. No response and no apology when I arrived and was put as far away from Reception as possible. Apart from one lady the reception staff were quite unhelpful
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We had to check out at 12pm and when we did so I asked if they could keep our luggage for us as our flight wasn't for another 9 1/2 hours. Instead of keeping our bags they gave us full access to the room! Free of charge. That is costumer service like no other! Incredible vibes. I fully recommend it to anyone and everyone. If they are busy you will probably not get this luxury but still! Everything else about the hotel was great also. I will be back for sure.
7.4 Good
Pros: Good service and friendly workers with the exception of one worker. Location good. An addition of a microwave and a table in the room would make the stay more comfortable. Generally worth the money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Everything was perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, guests services and staff were excellent as always!
Cons: Although the restaurant is not owned by hotel ...it is unfortunate and inconvenient that it is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays which presents a challenge for breakfast or a morning cup of coffee!!!
Kalinago Beach Resort - St. George's - Building

8.4 Excellent (204 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Best beach in Grenada. No waves at all. Hotel is nice and it’s affordable.
Cons: Did not like the double beds, way to small for 2 people. Front desk staff and restaurant were too reserved, need to be more cheery and need to speak louder. Other staff were friendly and personable.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The beds are comfy, the beach is right outside your door, essentially. All rooms have a sunset beach view, and you can check out a kayak from the resort for free. The hill out is a good morning warm-up for the day.
Cons: Food was a bit pricey if you go off any menu aside from the All Day menu, and the hill out is steep if you plan to take the buses most places (which I highly recommend.)
4.2 Okay
Pros: It's a great location but rooms are so uncomfortable and specially beds! I will not stay there again
Cons: We couldn't sleep that much! Beds were uncomfortable . Breakfast wasn't good neither
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and staff
7.1 Good
Pros: The beach.
Cons: The resort is too far. No transportation. We had to pay Junior the taxi. $20.00US to go to the spiceland mall. The restaurant is horrible. The food was horrible.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: This property is right on the beach which I loved. We stayed on the bottom floor and had a table and chairs on the patio outside of our room. The beach, pool and bar are just a few steps away. The room was clean and comfortable with two beds, a good sized bathroom and an area with a small refrigerator (which we stocked) and counter area. An electric kettle is provided with tea. As a coffee drinker, I would go to the restaurant every morning and they would provide me with a small pot of coffee to take with me free. The hotel has lounge chairs, two kayaks and snorkel equipment that guests can use. It's a 20-25 minute walk to Grand Anse beach and the Spiceland Mall. I'd recommend this place.
Cons: The restaurant, while beautiful, didn't have consistent food. A dish we liked on our first visit was not good on our second. We didn't end up eating there more than three times.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The small beach the hotel is on is beautiful. The air conditioning was functional and quiet (seems simple but we had a poor experience at another hotel. The breakfast omelettes are fantastic.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Kalinago's location is excellent, right on the beach. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The beach was clean and quiet. The hotel even provided us with snorkel and mask to allow us to enjoy the marine life. We were in awe with a humongous star fish. This was the second hotel we stayed in the area. We had stayed at the Flamboyant about 1/4 of a mile away but it was not as good as the Kalinago. I will recommend this hotel to anyone business or pleasure.
Cons: If I could make a suggestion it would be the restaurant. It was good but the menu was very limited and too pricy.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The beach bar played good music, the grounds and room were quite nice, reeaally good breakfast, the staff was super friendly, and there wasn't a lot of loud partying. Just a relaxed, laid back gem on the 2nd best beach in Grenada - Mourne Rouge Beach. Great swimming on the beach and police patrol the beach 6 days a week (Sundsys off) because it's a public beach. I highly recommend the Kalinago Beach Resort!
Cons: The housecleaning had room for improvement, and most of the food was good. They do have a fantastic omelette breakfast which I ordered every day, it was that good.
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent small resort on an magnificent beach. Rooms were very nice, good mattresses, well air-conditioned if that is your thing and we'll maintained, the food at the on site restaurant was quite tasty, freshly prepared - especially the morning omlettes, and all their bread which they appear to bake fresh daily, also good are the chicken sandwiches and the mash potatoes, mainly solid Caribbean food (if you want some variety there is another restaurant in the resort next door too that is also good). The staff is very helpful and nice, if a bit slow, Caribbean style. Of course of this fluff would be for nothing of not for the beach which his place is right on the best beach in grenada a small cove with beautiful calm water narry a hint of seaweed and almost still water for a practically unlimited area right out side your verendya exit from your room, nice sand and very few people (other than the times that a cruise ship docks at Grenada and this can be looked up and other things planned for that day as they do rent out chairs to those people, though it is still not so bad) . Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay, very refreshing
7.9 Good
Pros: It’s right on the beach. The ocean view rooms.
Cons: some fixtures and fittings need refurbishing The toilet backed up a few times

Cons: Coffee was cold
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good. I enjoyed the drinks, and staff very friendly. They arranged our taxis and and reservations and even organised our tours.
Cons: Generally, I wont say that there was not anything that I did not like. The only thing is that they should ensure that people dont occupy all chairs with towels and not use the chairs for the entire day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, the view was amazing and the restaurant was excellent and they were able to meet my partner's special dietary needs.
Cons: Honestly, not much. It was quiet, which is what we wanted. And our masseuse was great, which was also nice. The drinks were perfect, the beach was beautiful and our room (Standard room #9) had amazing views. A near-perfect vacation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great concept- lots of activities available but not required. Pavillion/bar area is amazing - inviting and comfortable. Nice restaurant- good service and friendly staff.
Cons: Property is older and does some wear. Landscaping could use a little more attention. Outside bathrooms take an adjustment period!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is so serene and that is exactly what we wanted. Sometimes it felt like we were the only people there. The rooms are very comfortable, every single person on the staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The spa was amazing - I had the hot stone massage. The views are breathtaking and hearing the ocean at every turn was so lovely. Also, to see the ocean from the shower offers an incredible view.
Cons: My husband loved it but I personally didn’t care for the outdoor-esque bathroom area. After the rain, there were more mosquitoes - nothing crazy, just a few - so we left a mosquito coil, provided by the hotel, to burn in the bathroom. The food is very good, just wish there were some local cuisine options.
7.9 Good
Pros: Top location
Cons: Too expensive

Cons: Pricey;
