Pros: A small Georgian mansion in a peaceful location. It was a delight to stay there. Colin and Jane were very welcoming hosts. The house was lovely - decor understated and absolutely appropriate for the age of the house. We had a great breakfast in the lovely spacious dining room. Jane made us a restaurant reservation in the nearby town of Bridge of Allan which we really enjoyed too. .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm welcome from our hosts. They could not have been more helpful giving advice and answering our questions. The room was large and spacious. This is a quirky building and full of interest. The rooms were on the second floor and carrying bags might be an issue for some, but our hosts were very helpful to us. The breakfasts were delicious. Lovely fresh fruits.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming hosts, comfortable, clean room, lovely breakfast and all in a beautiful location.
Cons: The only thing that spoilt a perfect stay was the clock on the stairs which chimed every hour all through the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting was a very old (250 years), but well maintained and quaint manor house in the country. The breakfast and interest of the proprietors in our comfort was great. It is a little hard to find, but worth the slight extra effort.
Cons: It was a little hard to find as there is not street number for the property to put into a GPS. But the proprietors help you find the place despite this. The small extra effort to locate the property is worth it.

Pros: The close proximity to everything. Christina was a wonderful friendly host. Gave us lots of tips. Our room was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. We had a great bathroom with lots of room. A great place to stay.
Cons: Everything was just right. No complaints at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hostess was very gratious. Breakfast, continental, had numerous selections. Try the homemade bread. Room had a beautiful view of Stirling Castle and bathroom was very large. Neighborhood was very quiet and there is a trail nearby, along the river, that can take you to the Castle avoiding many of the major roads.
Cons: It is about .4 miles from the train station and in a residential neighborhood.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Christina is a lovely host and very interested in the well being of her guests. The BnB is located in a really nice neighborhood a few minutes walk from the old town and rail station. The beds were the most comfortable of our whole trip to Scotland! We had a great stay!

Pros: A beautiful house and a thoroughly welcoming host made this the perfect short stay in Stirling.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable house and room and lovely host. Pleasant 10-15 walk into the old town. Lovely host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location in the Victorian quarter within easy walking distance of the town centre and railway station (both took me 10 minutes). The attractive river Forth is also literally at the end of the road. Parking in the road is unrestricted, free and I had no problem getting a space only yards from the front door.
Cons: If being picky, a larger range of cereals (currently cornflakes or granola) for some people. Some people may also prefer a cooked breakfast option (at additional cost).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Number 18 bed and breakfast. Christina was friendly and welcoming. She provided a binder with helpful information including brochures for local tourist attractions. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the train and bus station. There was many breakfast choices including cereal, natural yogurt, homemade bread, fruit, cheese, croissants and pancakes. She has a lovely garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at #18 Bed and Breakfast in Stirling on Aug 24- Aug 26 was the best accommodation experience of our 17 day vacation in Scotland. The place was spotless very clean and decorated to perfection. Christina was a gracious and charming host nothing was too much trouble for her, our room was large, bright and well furnished with lots of the little extras just making it feel like home away from home. Her garden is amazing with all the neat little thing in and around the garden. The location was super just a short 10 minute walk to the Castle, town centre, shopping mall, bus and train station, pubs and restaurants all close. Only a 5 minute drive to the Wallace monument as well. Anyone going to Stirling should book at #18 you won't be disappointed.
Cons: Nothing to dislike about at the property.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a very nice stay at Christine's. The house is lovely, it has been recently renovated and has the appeal of an old house with modern confort. Christine made us feel like home, she was very welcoming and full of good advices. The neighbourhood is nice and calm, about 15 minutes by foot from the city center. For us it was perfect as we could easely park the car and walk to town.
Cons: We made a couple of suggestions to improve the breakfast (which was already good)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Christina was a lovely host and runs an amazing B&B in Sterling. The room was furnished cozily and you can get to the city center in 10-15 min walk with many restaurants around. Also, the continental breakfast with homemade bread added to our great experience staying with her.

Pros: Seasoned travellers, this is one of the most friendly hostesses we have ever met. Hannah is a breath of fresh air, nothing was too much trouble. Comfy bed, great food, idyllic setting, and great hospitality - what more could any traveller want.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, superb location
Cons: Staff very pleasant, superb property, food amazing and the bed and room very comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location in lovely grounds. Friendly welcome. Offered cuppa in lounge on our arrival.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: We never had breakfast
Cons: The space in the apartment is way too small, the shower in the bath tub doesn't work, no power and the hot water can burn as there's no balance with hot and cold. I had to resort to going to a hair salon simply to have my hair washed and that is a cost I hadn't thought about at all. There is no way that this apartment should cost us what it did. The couples little boy was very sick and we felt for the family but on top of the high way robbery on the cost. I would never recommend this place to anyone and neither should you. They never offered any recompense, we felt cheated to our core.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything had been thought of and so tastefully done, from the lovely crisp white linen to the home made bread and marmalade.
Cons: Really couldn't fault West Plean House or our hosts,
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We could not fault our stay. The room was lovely and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. Breakfast was perfect - one of the best we have had in years - and so nice to be cooked for and served after months at home with a baby! We would definitely stay again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hannah is a fantastic, warm, friendly host. Her cooking skills are awesome, with homemade porridge, bread and delicious raspberry jam all being a delightful start to the day. We would return in a heartbeat, we left totally relaxed and content.
Cons: Liked it all
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were great and very hospitable. The breakfast was suburb with the best porridge ever.
Cons: Expected the room to be a bit larger and en-suite was quite small but overall okay.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice place. She cooked up a great Scottish breakfast in the morning. And she let us leave our luggage there while we went to the see the castle, so we didn't have to haul it around which was nice. Pretty much like a b&b. We enjoyed our short time there.
Cons: Had a little bit of trouble finding it on foot from the bus station, as there's some round abouts and foot tunnels on the way. She complained a bit that we didn't call saying we were coming lateish but we didn't have a phone that worked there and things just took a lot longer than expected to get there and find it. (We had been up all night with flights so we were pretty tired though).

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rom was very clean and bright The food in the restaurant was very good and well priced
Cons: The bedroom could do with a couple of chairs and a small table
6.0 Good
Pros: The food was excellent
Cons: Main problem was the heating in our room. It was fixed on the third day. They offered us to change rooms but we had our granddaughter with us so it did not suit to move to 2 rooms. They offered us as a compensation our 2 glasses of wine on the first night but that was not satisfactory for the inconvenience of a cold room. We had a small convector heater which was not good enough.
6.0 Good
Pros: It looks like being a Hotel is new to this building. The fixtures and fittings are brand new and it is clear that there needs to be some bedding in time, and some feedback provided. The food was excellent and the customer service was really good.
Cons: I stayed in the Lomond room which is directly below what they call their conservatory which means the ambient music upstairs feels like you live next door to a night club down stairs. Apparently it is known that this is the case with this room, so rather than turning the music off when i checked in they waited until i had to complain about it. Once the music was off, the room was confortable. The extractor fan, exterior flaps bang all night in the wind and the towel heater in the shower room does not work despite it being turned on to full.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm and welcoming bar/restaurant area. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Food good, varied and served promptly. Problems with radiator and reading lamp on arrival were dealt with immediately.
Cons: Original sash windows were a little draughty (but it was particularly cold and windy during our stay).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely ambience..... knew this place 20+ years ago, when it was an old Victorian house. Great conversion carried out and the staff really helpful and nothing too much of a problem.
Cons: Very little... pity the weather was poor, but little the hotel can do about that. Squeaky vent in our room, only minor problem.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely overnight stay in this friendly, clean, comfortable hotel. Decor really nice, great location and friendly staff. Will use again.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location for city centre and lovely breakfast.
Cons: Only complaint about the hotel was the constant noise from the kitchen door slamming shut, our room was above it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. Located within easy walking distance of the centre of Stirling. Parking was easy. The decor was lovely, very well presented. The room was warm (a little too warm) with control of the radiator within the room. The room was large. The staff were friendly. It was kept clean and plenty of soap and shower gel etc. My room had a bath (the only room on the property apparently) Kettle option in the room (but had to buy my own teabags)
Cons: The WiFi was not very good - being away on business WiFi is essential to my role. The bed was too hard and the pillows too hard for my liking (personal preference) There was no desk in my room to work at (again essential when working away). Coffee machine rather than kettle ... looks great but I only drink tea or black coffee (and coffee machine tea is not the same). No biscuits with the coffee machine (not a bad thing - just a missing touch). The water from the shower and the cold Water for the bath did not seem to work properly. This is just my personal Experience ... I was away for work and the hotel Did not really suit my personal needs. It is lovely for couples or for People on a holiday.

The hotel was comfortable, relaxing, lovely high ceilings and located in a quiet area yet within easy reach of the centre. A hearty cooked breakfast to set us on our way
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elegantly restored house on quiet green, but just a very short walk from castle and cafes. Room was lovely, and our hostess was very gracious. A number of choices for breakfast. After being in tourist-central for a few days, it was relaxing to stay in a quiet residential area of historic homes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were delicious.

Pros: We have stayed in 5* hotels in St. Andrews New York and London. They are big and have spas and cocktail bars. Which Victoria square does not But Victoria Square offers every comfort of a 5* hotel with a personal touch. It is stylish iand tasteful Our rooms were immaculate with comfy beds and beautiful furnishings. Little touch’s like the complimentary sherry and fridge as well as fully stocked toiletries made it very welcoming. This is a gem. Book it if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed
Cons: Nothing. This was well located and beautifully presented with a warm welcome

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A small Georgian mansion in a peaceful location. It was a delight to stay there. Colin and Jane were very welcoming hosts. The house was lovely - decor understated and absolutely appropriate for the age of the house. We had a great breakfast in the lovely spacious dining room. Jane made us a restaurant reservation in the nearby town of Bridge of Allan which we really enjoyed too. .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was a gracious and perfect host and attended to our every request. Breakfast was great. We would stay there again.

7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the location and the decor of the hotel lobby, bar and restaurant was beautiful . Bar staff were friendly and efficient and we had a great cocktail . Room was spacious . Bath was huge but shower over bath and partner too talk to use as his head hit the ceiling which was low .
Cons: Our room had frosted lower windows , a partial view over the air con units and not enough sufficient light in the bedroom to the point where we had to use our phone torches . The room was noisy from the air con units outside . The bathroom fan was loud like a motor bike and we found hairs in the bath . Scratch on wardrobe and wonky handle . No bin liners in room and bathroom bins . Towels were a bit shabby . Next time we would book the suite
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fabulous.
Cons: Can’t think of anything

Pros: It was warm on a stormy night
Cons: No choice of bread at breakfast only standard white. Breakfast not very hot. More light in the bedroom would have been useful. No usb charging.
7.1 Good
Pros: Rooms nice ( small for the price but clean) and bathrooms were very nice Some staff very helpful Clean Nice lounge but not cozy and pretty women’s bathrooms Some staff were extremely nice and helpful
Cons: A bit disorganized The breakfast is terrible- skip. We heard two people who had bad dinners - not cheap either This hotel is a work in progress with potential Great location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable and clean. All staff I had dealings with were excellent. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. Very nice dinner.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The porridge was too thick and stodgy for my liking and it required a lot of milk to make it a bit better but I was still unable to finish it. The cooked breakfast was good but the bacon rasher was quite small and the mushrooms consisted of half a mushroom.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Check in poor Waited 15 mins before anyone attended to us

4.2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff, cleanliness, felt like a hostel
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast, friendly staff and the location - close to the town centre and on a direct route to Bannockburn and the M9.
Cons: Paper thin walls that allowed me to share next door's conversation all night.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Hardly available stuff, the location was perfect, very close to the town center, the room was average, the toilet was the worse one I saw in years, ‏You have to choose between freezing cold shower or burning hot shower, the same goes for the sink and the bathtub, apart from this with a better management this place could be the best in the world
4.2 Okay
Pros: Staff seemed ok and it was close to town so real easy walk. They offered breakfast.
Cons: There was mold in the bathroom. The bed was old, slept on the bed springs. Every movement you felt a spring. We could here everything going on above us.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Large room
Cons: The booking stated our stay included breakfast. When we checked in, we were told it was only toast and cereal. We felt we were misled by this. Some of the staff really need to work on improving their customer service. By contrast, the lady coping with cooking breakfast by herself was excellent. There
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was wonderful very close to good restaurants and the castle. Beds were a bit too hard for us older people!
Cons: Softer beds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money, great customer service and local to train station.
Cons: Everything was grand.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I believe you get what you pay for and I got more than that. Room was clean, tidy and not too small. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location, for me, was perfect. I stayed for 2 nights while visiting my son, at the university, and would have been happy to have stayed for longer if I could.
Cons: I didn't really dislike anything
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff were very pleasant and work hard (although only ever say 2, understaffed I thought)
Cons: There was no hand wash or shower gel in the bathroom and no hand towels provided. No glass in bathroom, the room was not serviced during our stay. I should just say that there were no visible fire plan in case of emergency.
