Pros: The bed was huge and comfortable
Cons: The pictures are not really accurate. The hotel is getting old and some things are falling apart (like the AC). The walls of our room were very thin and we heard each and every noise throughout the night, couldn't really sleep. And we couldn't pay by CC

7.0 Good
Pros: The location is wonderful. easy access to centro and views out over the ocean with the malecon across the street. the staff was responsive. We got a small suite, which was excellent. The swimming pool is large and surrounded by royal palms.
Cons: Hot water sometimes ran out sometimes by late morning. The is no drinking water in the rooms. You have to ask for bottled water at the desk and sometimes they run out so you need to buy your own. No coffee making in the room. The pool is not heated but this is standard in Mexico. There is evidence of lack of maintenance in many areas but nothing that inconvenienced us.The price reflects this.

7.0 Good
Pros: Well located next to the old town. Secure parking. Very clean.
Cons: The main reason why we stay in a hotel is to sleep. Unfortunately the bed was very small for two people and very hard. Needless to say we had two very poor nights sleep. We had a storm, on our first night, which rattled the windows.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Hotel Campeche is a lovely hotel right outside the main part of town where the restaurants and shopping are located. It is really just about a 6-7 minute walk to where everything is happening. The rooms are clean and the staff is very courteous and helpful. Our room was located on the street side of the hotel, so there was obviously traffic noise in the morning. There is a restaurant located in the hotel. Food was good; service was a bit slow. It was a good value for the money. It was not outstanding, but we would stay there again.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with window view on the malecon/ sea. Continental breakfast was good. Pool is small but pretty and well maintained. Friendly staff.
Cons: Some people might find it far from old city but we enjoyed the 20 min walk along the malecon. Gulf water does not look / smell clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 2nd visit and perfect location to beach and Malecón, mall, restaurants.
Cons: This time our room was across from a staff supply room and more noise and traffic. Also, though not a property issue, the last night was coronation of child Carnival Queen and the room next to us after the program was full of noisy moms and girls. They were not considerate and staff had to intervene. I understand their excitement and we tried twice ourselves to quiet them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was the most perfect thing about it . The price is fair for what you get I wouldn’t come expecting anything super fancy for the price. Very clean and comfortable for a quick visit to Campeche. Will definitely stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful in every way. Perfect location for visiting old town and malecon.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of different hot/cold foods and nice presentation. It's open until 11:30 too. The hotel is fairly modern, and right across the road from the Malecon, which is a great place for long walks, easily accessible. Staff were exceptionally helpful, especially when trying to change a Booking.com reservation. Rooms either face the road/Malecon, or the pool area, which is nicer.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is well located right in the centre of town. We requested to change room as the first one was dark and the windows faced very close to the wall of the next door building. The hotel made a charge for the new room as it was larger but the receptionist accommodated our request straightaway. The new room was a lot better although the bathroom was tiny.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny and the whole hotel is dated and has no communal space or seating. Breakfast was included but little choice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, but a little smelly. In the room were only two towels, but we were 4 people.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. We got a lovely gift from Campeche from one of the staff. The bed was huge and very comfortable and having a sitting area was good. Easy access to the Malecon or centro historic.
Cons: Our room got sun all afternoon and the curtains were too narrow to close properly. As with many of Mexico's hotels cleanly was basic, door ledges etc were really dusty. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked but not a great lot of variety.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location and cleanliness
Cons: Very poor wifi
7.5 Good
Pros: It’s proximity to the historical center and ocean promenade. Good value for money.
Cons: Cold showers in the evening!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely located in city center.
Cons: Needs maintenance (slow shower drainage, one sided toilet seat).
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location. The receptionists speak English.
Cons: We had booked a different, bigger room (a room with two double beds), but had been downgraded to a room with a double bed and a folding additional bed without a refund; but since we arrived at 5 am (our bus was delayed), I had no strenght to renegotiate the change of the room. The breakfast is very basic - only a small plate of fried eggs, one glass of an orange juice and a filtered coffee - not exactly what you expect from a four star hotel... The hot water runs only occasionaly (once out of three times). After cleaning up, the staff forgot to close the door to our room, so everyone could have just walked in - luckily, nothing got lost.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A bit at the limit, but still in the historic center, so very easy to walk around and admire the colonial houses, plus the Malecon along the sea. The building is very typical, stylish. Staff very nice.
Cons: No place, to sit around in the hotel, no lounge....So, always in the room. The room is dark. Our window on the first floor opens direct on the street. So, no intimacy if open. The bathroom, cramped, too small. We heard the voices and sounds coming from the other rooms.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good and a very nice hotel to stay
Cons: Breakfast for our child was not included, it was not clear during reservation
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in the historic center of Campeche. I strongly recommend this hotel as everything was great.

Pros: They promissed a balcony. A working safe. Unfortunately they were not there. And there was lno warm water in the shower and there were no bedlights. The bed and the locaties were perfect!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, just one street away from the city centre. Super nice staff, that made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. You can park the car under the hotel. The room was clean and had a nice bed.
Cons: Is was a little hard getting out of the parking space but personnel helped us.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was very clean and the shower was wonderful. Also, very good natural light in the room we stayed in. We used the restaurant for breakfast and it was reasonably priced and very good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Lack of any good decor, the most basic of all, pretty tired. The facility is old, with poor electrics. Not many outlets and some falling out of the wall. All in all, if you are on a budget, this is not a bad option.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great place to stay very close to the beautiful city center with very friendly staff, a good recommendation to anyone!
6.0 Good
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Very noisy air conditioner. Little or no hot water in room #202. No fridge. Shower needs to be updated.....looks very poor.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location, private parking
Cons: The bathroom has no ventilation and stinks horribly. The room is small and old. The windows are into the passage and not onto the street; despite that it was very loud

Pros: Staff was extremely atentavie providing highly personalized service. Inner courtyard and unique pool provide respite and privacy. With only eighteen guest rooms it’s very exclusive. Location convienient for discovering the Campeche UNESCO World Heritage site. Walking across to many restaurants, bars, shops and sites.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like. It’s a small hotel, make sure they have the services and amenities you want. It will also give them the opportunity to plan for your needs. I found they will go to extraordinary lengths to satisfy you.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location, Colors and the original swimming pool
Cons: Dark, really old fashioned , rooms , loosy still friendly service. Main issue is the town itself, you can visit it in 3 hours max. Not much ( if not nothing) to see or experience.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked being inside the old city of Campeche. The hotel has been assembled from a number of adjacent old houses and is unlike any other we have stayed at. The pool consists of five rooms from old houses which have been linked and flooded. It is good for cooling off after a hot day, but one could not really swim very far. The hotel was easily reached with our rental car and there was parking right in front. The restaurant was excellent. We normally ate in an outdoor portico, except when it was too windy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel overall. Deco is amazing, in particular the pool
Cons: Unfortunately the roof wasn't available during our stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location Friendly staff Most comfortable mattress of Mexico!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal and the ambience great. But what was most impressive was the staff. In particular Carlos in the bar and resturant.
Cons: Cant recall any dislikes. We are a returning group and will continue to return.

Pros: City Center
Cons: Room was directly next to a club where loud music was played until 2:30 in the morning.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunningly beautiful colonial hotel. Staff exceptionally helpful. On being shown our room, one staff brought us two glasses (not plastic cups) of jamaica. We'd just come in out of unseasonable heat--what a nice touch!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was in the main building. Spacious and relaxing. The bed is SO comfortable. We even had a jacuzzi on the terrace. Perfect location. Minutes from all the restaurants and sights
Cons: We loved everything except the breakfast place they recommend. Slow service weak coffee and hard bread.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Access to cafe for breakfast, pastries, coffee drinks literally steps away and in a cool setting. Pool was great and easily accessible. Front desk staff were awesome -and accomodating, engaging, english speaking and friendly. Beds were comfortable and shower was fine. Place was quiet. Would love to stay here again...for a longer time period.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This beautiful, historic hotel is well located within the old walled city. This made it a good location for walking to the town square, museums, shops and restaurants etc. The hotel decor was lovely, with historic artifacts, lovely flowers climb the old stone walls. Staff spoke English well and genuinely seemed interested and proud to talk to us about Campechee. Our upstairs room, was huge, had lovely furnishings and an updated bathroom. The small restaurant served large meals. Fresh juice and coffee on arrival was a plus.
Cons: The art (nude women), in the cafe was not appropriate as far as we were concerned. We choose not to have breakfast at the hotel and found a great restaurant down the street with a better ambiance.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly beautiful hotel colonial style in the middle of town, pedestrian area. Reachable by car, they will park your car for you. Beautifully decorated, very friendly staff, spacious room (we had a master suite). Very nice bathroom with l'Occitane amenities.
Cons: Room is a little damp. When you look at the ceiling you can see why...
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous position on the main street for nightlife, the noise could be an issue if you are sensitive, but with the windows shut and the A/C on we didnt't notice it. Lovely big airy rooms, and bathrooms with toiletries. Pool is small and doesn't get much sun, but a lovely spot to refresh after a hot day of sightseeing. The beds are super comfortable if a little on the small side. Its is a great position to walk everywhere from, we heard music on the first nioght and followed it down towards the sea to find a live band and lots of people salsa dancing in the street. Their restaurant served some of the best food we had in our three week road trip around the yucatan,
Cons: The room is a little dark to sit in, but we sat on the balcony inside the courtyard to read and this was lovely and airy.
6.3 Good
Cons: Very noisy property, we barely slept between the high music from the street and some issue with the fridge. Breakfast is very poor and with cheap products. Stuff ( from the restaurant) is not really nice. We will no go back.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: There is no much natural light in the rooms

Cons: The internet was really slow. The room service was pretty bad. We ordered dinner, and instead of showing me the bill, they just told me the price. But, when I checked the bill(which he was hesitant to give me) he had raised the price by 80 pesos when he told it to me. And, brought me the wrong dish. And, tried to convince me that spaghetti was lasagna? Super weird. The room service in the morning was not a problem. When we asked for an extra bottle of water, they told us we would have to pay 50 pesos per bottle.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel with helpful staff and a nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, very fine bedding, room cleaning very good, great shower.
Cons: Mouse in the dining area, small regular size bed--not used to that size for 2.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The overall setting of the hotel is very nice - it is located in a colonial house with sunny and airy patio. The furnitures in the rooms fit the style.
Cons: Our room had no access to daylight and while I experienced in the past while staying in colonial houses that the windows often opens to the interior patio, our rooms neither had that nor even an split doors, in which the upper part could be opened. Moreover the was no hot water in the room. Staff turned to be not helpful at all on both issues a request to switch the room and to check on the water.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a great location close to restaurants and ocean.great staff.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Located in the heart of the Historical Centre, this old hotel gives you everything you'll need for your stay in Campeche
Cons: Couldn't stay longer- had to move after 4 days as they were fully booked!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: An atmospheric colonial building in the middle of the old town. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel was comfortable.
Cons: My room overlooked Calle 61. There was a rooftop party immediately opposite, with loud music and lots of people shouting at the tops of their voices. This went on until after 3 am. Although I was using earplugs, the noise was way beyond anything that earplugs could keep out. It was holiday season (December 26) -maybe this would be less likely to happen at a quieter time of year. Maybe a room on the other side would be quieter.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are modern and comfortable. The light in the rooms is excellent. Air conditiong works well and smoothly. Internet was fast and connects immediately. The personal is very, very friendly. The only problem is the location. The hotel is centrally located within the historical part of Campeche. This implies, however, that it is very loud. In particular those rooms which go out onto 59th street during the night have a constant level of noise. 59th street is a pedestrian zone, and bars and restaurant cater their clients on the street directly below the windows of your room. The noise stops at one in the morning. In the morning you might get woken up by the noise of the people setting up the breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Extremely helpful staff, even though we didn't speak much Spanish and they didn't have much English.
Cons: Our window looked out on an airshaft. Pretty dreary.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and perfect location right in the heart of the old town center
Cons: No window in our room on the 3rd floor
4.0 Okay
Pros: A lovely old structure. Very attractive from the outside because of the pattern of balconies which we assumed meant our room would have a balcony. A fine courtyard interior, with an interior balcony all around each level of rooms.
Cons: Unfortunately, there is one room - #211 - which does not have a balcony. A window only, and it is difficult to take advantage of. The toilet is tiny. It requires some contortions in order to use it. It is probably the worst room in the hotel; we just got lucky.
7.0 Good
Pros: It is a very short, 4-minute walk from the ADO bus station. A very doable walk to the main plaza.
Cons: The beds were a bit hard, and the pillows a bit thin. Comfortable enough, but not great. The neighborhood is sort of grubby, but safe.
7.9 Good
Pros: Loved the look of the courtyard The location is great We love the shampoo :)
Cons: No windows / expect dark rooms You can hang out in front of the room, at the courtyard/hallway, but the room is a bit gloomy. We shared a double room, for two persons thats fine. But you cant share it with three or four, the beds are ok, but it a very tiny room Internet doesnt work well inside the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern, pleasant room.
Cons: The staff on reception could have been a bit more friendly. Except for one staff member they seemed very unhappy and not enjoying working at the hotel. Totally understand if you have a stream of demanding tourists asking you questions all day it isn’t easy but if you are friendly you get back a lot, smiles, tips, nice comments..so all worth it I would think.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, few minutes to main square and next to the street with few good restaurants. Since we were traveling with a car, the hotel provided the parking spot, they take your car into garage and bring it back when you’re leaving. Very comfortable and stylish place with friendly stuff.
Cons: The only drawback is that stuff was speaking mostly Spanish.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, great beds and lovely rooftop terrace!! There was tea and coffee to take and it was very clean. The hotel is located right in the center.
Cons: We had some troubles with our car after the stay. The car got hit by another car when parked in front of the hotel (because it was parked on the road). We noticed this after our stay and tried to contact the hotel multiple times, but didn’t get a reply.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: Doesn’t have parking.
