Cons: The prices offered in internet are NOT real!!!! you end up paying 3 times more. The insurance cost is excessively high! Worst experience ever! At the end we got a taxi...if you book a taxi with your hotel it will cost half the price compared to the taxis at the airport.

Whatcha out for these guy!!!
Cons: What a complete bunch of lies. They promised me a weekly rental at $240, but when I arrived, I was required to have an additional $400 worth of insurance. I went with Thrifty because they are well known in The US, but they are obviously not paying attention to how their Cabo oporationot is treating their customers. I had no choice and had to continue with the rental. I had my two young daughters with me and I wasn't about to drag them around the airport looking for another rental car.
Then, to make it even sleezier, there is a time share company with an office there at Trifty that will pay your additional insurance charge on the car if you go sit through a two hour tours at one of their properties. I feel scammed.
Pros: Unfortunately there isn't much to like at this rental place.
Cons: The workers at the counter will raise prices knowing it's late and there isn't anything you can do about it. I would stay away if possible.

Cons: The Kayak price doesn't include tax or insurance. Insurance is mandatory and expensive and they taxed me 35%. So don't expect the unbelievable $6/day quote you are getting. It's more like $60/day.
Dollar had a very sleazy manager that kept lowering the price when he realized we weren't interested. They're exchange rate was also almost 20% worse than the normal rate everywhere else.
He lowered it to a price that was still too high and we ended up walking next door to Budget rent a car where the service was 10 times better and they were up front about everything.
Pros: They had a four wheel drive car that was inexpensive and did what we need.
Cons: Staff at the station tried to extort cash under the pretenses of providing some sort of a deal. Really make sure that you mark all problems with the car and double check all prices before paying. The guy continued to type on his calculator explaining that it would cost $100 to $200 more than I originally anticipated even though I was getting a cheaper car than my original rental. Then when walked outside to inspect the car he offered to remove $100 to $150 from bill if I paid him $50 dollars in cash under the table. I fell for it upon renting, but did not fall for it again when I returned the vehicle. Upon return, the man claimed that I put a crack in the windshield, but that he would brush it off the return if "I took care of him." I refused, told him I paid for insurance, and that the crack was already there. He tried again to extort me. I didn't respond and he signed everything off as fine and we left without any other issues. It was super shady and uncomfortable all around. I will not be renting from Fox in Cabo again.
