Pros: The car was clean, comfortable and a breeze to pick up.
Cons: When I needed to modify my reservation, I waited longer than 30 minutes to be connected. The customer service agent was unintelligible, and would not accommodate my request. I ended returning this car and renting another from a competitor at a much better rate. Beware their customer service is outsourced and not handled with excellent customer service standards.

drop off disappointment
Pros: 1st car reeked of smoke, agent was happy to have changed to alternate car.
My eta upon return was planned 1 am - I'm told drop off box is available at counter for after hours returns. I confirm that again before getting car + reconfirm that while driving back, with my approx ETA again.
Upon arrival cant get to drop box as all entrances are locked, despite what I was assured earlier.
Cons: I arrive to find all entrances to get to counter are locked. No drop box available at parking lot either. Called Alamo cust service - each time takes 15 min of hold time.
Im first told to come back during open hours!
Then told to leave keys in car and lock but that I need to call and relay this to Alamo in AM ( when I'd be on a flight).
When I ask for agent name, he hangs up. Sounds a bit shady?
Called back again to get different agent (after obligatory 15 min wait time) who finally gives me correct procedure.
So, great service at counter, good car condition, but Took 1.5 hrs to drop off car + surprisingly the local staff were unaware of after-hours drop off procedure even when given an ETA. BEware of After-hours cust service-very difficult to get hold of, and with an erratic service reliability.

Lots of problems and astronomical price!
Pros: The car was a Ford Fusion, fun to drive, economical on gas, got me where I needed to go.
Cons: Inside windshield was wiped with something greasy and I could hardly see. I had to pull over and clean it best I could. Lights shorted out day one in vehicles rear. An officer fixed it. They shorted again day two. Car cost $350 for two days

Cons: When I checked the car back in I wanted to see the invoice to be sure I was not charged for a 2nd day. The guy at the counter said he would send the invoice to me immediately and that I was only charged for one day. I saw on my phone that an invoice was sent, however, after I left and checked it, I could not open it. It stated that there was something wrong with either my driver's license # or the dates of pickup and delivery. I entered my DL right from the DL and the dates from the initial order form. There was no mistake but I could never see it.

Cons: I rented two cars in the past week from this Budget store and both of them were not cleaned. One of them in particular was not clean at all. They barely gave me a $5 credit when I pointed out this to the manager.

Terrible service, never again

Cons: According to the promised price, I was supposed to be charged $ 95.48. My bill at the time of return was $250 for 2 days.
Pros: I liked the desire to adapt to the aftermath of Hurricane Hermine. I received the rental on almost empty and due to the storm have to wait in line for about an hour to get gas.
Cons: I wasn't told Enterprise was going to be closed at my drop off time.

Pros: Didn't have the truck I reserved so they upgraded me to a bigger truck for the same price. I was very happy with their service and professionalism. I never used Enterprise before but I will from now on. Thanks for such a great experience.

Three tries to get a car
Pros: Staff at each of three locations were VERY busy, but helpful. It was not their fault good cars were not available.
Cons: Had to go to three Enterprise lots to get a clean car, one step lower than I initially reserved. First lot did not have a clean car I liked. Both available were somewhat beat up. 2nd lot had no similar cars available to rent. 3rd lot did not have the size I reserved, but overall I was very pleased with the Ford Focus I finally took away.

Good cust svc at enterprise
Pros: I booked for a 3:00 pickup. Kayak didn't tell me they closed at 3:00. I was running a little late and called. I was told system shuts down at 3:05. I arrived at 3:06 and rep unlocked doors and assigned my rental. Was very friendly while she did it. Pretty sure I got upgraded in the process because I ended up with a larger vehicle than expected.
Cons: I booked for a 1:00 rental pickup on another site at another agency. . Only to find out rental agency closed at 1:00. Missed that rental. Booked this rental for 3:00 Via Kayak and Kayak didn't tell me rental store closed at 3:00. I arrived at 3:06 and only by great cust svc from Enterprise was I able to pick up car. If I missed this one, it would have cost $100+ more to get from airport. both rentals ended up booking through the site with Captain Kirk and Penny, so my real beef is with them, I guess, but on the second one, I went through Kayak to get rental.

Cons: I did not like that I paid extra for an intermediate vehicle that did not have remote open doors. It was only openable by a key which was inconvenient and unsafe. In order to get into the trunk I had to unlock the car and reach down for a lever. If this is a 2017 vehicle then I'm sure there was a remote opener that opened both the car and trunk. Not happy about that. I don't know the last vehicle I have ever seen that didn't have a remote door unlock remote.

Pros: I arrived at the location and they didn't have my reservation and there was no vehicle available for me at that time. I had to go across town and came back with nothing. The people at Enterprise acted as if they didn't even care. Very disappointed and will never go there again.

Bait and switch
Cons: Contrary to their advertisement, they did not pick up or drop off. When I took a cab and arrived at the rental site, they tried to upsell me telling me that they didn't have what I had reserved in stock. What most other rental companies that I have dealt with do at this point is to rent the customer the next best car and give it to me at the rate of the rental agreement. Enterprise will not be receiving my business in the future.
Cons: There was an overwhelming scent of artificial smell despite me leaving all the windows open overnight. I looked everywhere for some scent producing item that could be removed but to no avail. It was like driving in a toilet.
If this is used routinely, it should be discontinued. If it is used to cover cigarette smell, then cars should be designated smoking or non-smoking so one can request a non-smoking car.

THRIFTY CANCELLED MY RESERVATION
Cons: When I got to the rental car location. I was informed that they had cancelled my reservation and where not honoring any reservations made in the last 72 hours..... I found this to be most un-professional and not only was it that, but they did NOT even call to warn me, or send and email alerting me. This was a massive inconvenience to which screwed my travel plans.

Pros: Jarvis felt bad about the situation and did upgrade us to an suv. Excellent customer service. We left happy
Cons: There were no mid size economy or compact cars available even tho I had reservations. Was offered full size at a discounted fee (why should I have to pay for their mistake). Decided to wait for a car to be returned which took over 2 hours. Was told the websites will let you still reserve when they have no inventory.

Pros: The chevy volt had good gas mileage, also it drove solid.
Cons: I reserved and paid money for an SUV but I received a chevy volt. The car had huge scratches on the back. The service was not good, horrible explanations.

Pros: Have a reservation made online with confirmation numbers and wouldn't honor the price. Literally twice as much once I got to the rental. Will be calling customer service today. I also waited 45min along with 2 other customers for the rental.

Great car, service and price
Pros: Thrifty ran out of cars but got one from Hertz for me and all was well
Cons: it cost a lot of money and when I went to drop off the car no one was even in the office. I had to call customer service and ask what to do after waiting 20 minutes for the office person to return - I ended up leaving the keys and a note. Wierd!

Pros: The staff especially Brandon and the young lady that drove me to the bank was very professional and friendly.
Cons: The only draw was that I was not informed beforehand that there would be a large deposit incurred at the time of pick-up.

Pros: When picking up the car the service was great. Brandon was able to get me in and out quickly, even though he was swamped with customers. It was my first rental car and am already planning on renting again through them.

Great drive home
Pros: place was very busy when i showed up 30 minutes early to pick up my rental, manager was working by himself and was calm and kept in control of situation. i was patient and waited while he solved this problem and that problem with his customers. my patience paid off and he gave me an upgrade to the next level car at no charge to me. i will definately use hertz again

Pros: Pick up and drop off was easy and quick. Staff very helpful. The free Sirius radio was the icing on the cake !
Cons: Because I was 1.5hr late due to traffic in Fort lauderdale they charge me an extra day, (11$) which I didn't mind, but they charged me Full sunpass charge (25$) for an extra day that I never use.

Cons: I didn't like the fact the vehicle selected was a special which said any normal size car which had a full size car for the image. Also I didn't knw anything about a $250 deposit! I'm over the age of 25. (29) The gave me a sorry ford focus which not anything close to a normal size car. No room in the back seat looks like a small mini van. So they gave me a compact car.....

Convenient and efficient
Pros: I really like the location of this pick-up/delivery site; the staff are efficient and unflappable.
Cons: Avis prices have gone up and are not as competitive as I recall from last year. I have to weigh the convenience of easy pick up and delivery against cost of renting from airport competitor. Not crazy about the Kia Sol. Light and boxy. Didn't handle wind and traffic gusts well. Very small gas tank. It otherwise drove nicely.

Very Easy - All the Way!
Pros: We rented in Tallahassee - and we trying to figure out how to get over to the car rental place - when my husband called Avis and they were there promptly to pick us up at out hotel. Super nice guy, too. Check-in process was easy and they gave us choice of two cars - my husband asked about a third one he had seen in the parking lot. Boom! We were out of there in a Jetta and really enjoyed the driving experience. As far as bringing it back to Tampa - just drive right on in and collect your belongings. They had personnel standing ready to greet us. Overall, great customer service and great price.
