Clean, comfortable rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Big breakfast and cookies at night. Nice location. We could hear the very loud wedding reception beneath us that went till midnight. I suggest choosing a higher floor or asking about any events when you book or check in.
Great stay,awesome choices for breakfast
The hotel and Staff were outstanding. We enjoyed our stay. The agency we booked through booked the date we left not the dates we needed. When we tried to notify the company for a refund we could not get through 5 times and never got through. Please help.
The beds were comfortable and I liked the fact that there was a clean bed cover with each new guest. The location was good and the staff very nice and helpful. Lots of choices for breakfast. Cookies at the end of the day is a nice touch. I did not like the fact that it was so close to main roads. The hotel is not in perfect condition. The rugs and lifts have seen much better days. I had thought from the description that it would be a "grander" hotel. For breakfast, I would prefer better quality : real omelets and scrambled eggs, more natural yogurts.
Clean, new, efficient, nice rooms, price Bit far from Burlington
We liked the movie theme. The room had enough space that I could get work done while my kids slept. The motel was conveniently located to highways, stores, and to Lake Champlain. We want to go back when the drive-in theater is opened (we visited too late in the year)
The staff is very friendly, and the rooms were quite clean. They would've been cleaner if there was a screen door or a lobby, but this wasn't a hotel, this was a motel and access to the outside was direct from the room. So, we had to deal with a little Vermont insect life. That said, everything was really quite nice. The room was modern without flaw and very clean considering. The bedding was clean most importantly, and comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and also functional. We'd stay there again. For the money the 10 minutes drive into town was acceptable, but I found that we had to go back-and-forth quite a bit. That's not the motels fault that's mine. I would've liked to have made one of the drive-in movie shows, because that probably would've made my stay even better and was pretty awesome to have that offered for free to motel guests, but by the time we got back from a concert we were in town for it was really too late and we just went to bed.
Friendly staff, brand new rooms, free chocolates.
Great beds. Blackout shades. Great owner. Close to good food. Great drive-in experience. Very quiet. The door had issues with sticking. Also the cutesy switches for "do not disturb" or "make up room" kept getting bumped. A simple door hanger works better. One day, even after speaking to the cleaning lady about putting additional coffee in the room, they completely skipped our room (maybe due to the electronic "do not disturb" sign? The wife was not happy that we had no clean towels that night...
The design was modern, the staff was friendly and the location was good There was no breakfast for the price we paid, the room had trash in it when we first arrived, the handle on the door out the side of the building to the parking lot was broken, the drain in the shower didn't drain the water efficiently
Excellent customer service.
Great, friendly staff at desk For a non smoking hotel there was an awful lot of "partying" Going on
I basically only use the hotel to sleep and shower, and perhaps pass some time watching TV. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the TV worked, so all was good in that respect. The staff was courteous and helpful ... I ALWAYS appreciate that. The hotel lacked many amenities that I've come to expect over my years of travel. For a two star hotel, one would expect a simple breakfast. They charge $2.99/day for wifi access (really?!!!... You get free wifi at McD and you don't even need to buy a $1 coffee). There are no ice machines on the upper floors. The towels, although abundant were thin and scratchy (rag pile material a home). Also lacking were: hair blower, iron,'do not disturb' sign for the door, scratch pad and pen, any shampoo, lotion or conditioner, Kleenex tissues, coffee maker, and that notebook I always look for that contains the hotel policies and area food and attractions. As you can see, it was a clean, but "bare bones" hotel.
lower cost noisy, rooms are Spartan like. the basic of basic. Totally non-frill
The room was very modern, clean, and pretty. Staff couldn't have been nicer I wish wifi could've been included
You get what you pay for. Inexpensive, decent location. Clean rooms. The hallways stank like cigarettes and there was nothing in the rooms at all (no extra pillows or blankets, no toiletries, etc). Also the walls were paper thin so it was noisy.
Easy check in and out. Proximity was great. Room was in good shape. The shower was good. Workers found a new room quickly, near our other room when there was a stale smoke smell. First room smelled of smoke. the key cards to one of the rooms stopped working after a day. Little tripped down but not a surprise with the cost.
The door locked and had a deadbolt. Close to Burlington. Had to ask for towels. Beds never made. Loud and scary clientele. Ran out of toilet paper.
Everyone was so friendly, knowledgable and treated me 1st class! View is amazing and room is very comfortable. a++ worth it I wish breakfast was included during our stay.
Good location. Bummer to have to pay for parking
Location and view We did not have a very nice stay. Their was fecal matter on the shower curtain. The room did not smell the best. The ac did not cool the room at all. It was about 90 degrees out during the day and when we went back to the room in the evening the room was hot with the ac on full force. Was not a very pleasant stay especially for $270 a night. The view was great from the room, that was about the only good thing from this stay
The Hilton Burlington always has a great staff and the location of the hotel means you will have a great view of the lake and a quick walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Very convenient to get in and out of Burlington to take day trips around VT. Rooms feel outdated and require some TLC to mirror the brand you expect from the Hilton.
Great location. Worth the extra $ for lake views *Staff is hit or miss. *We booked on Aug 8 for Oct 8 arrival and our room type (King) was "sold out" when we arrived. Seems to me someone just didn't do their job and allowed people who arrived earlier in the day to upgrade their room.
I liked the beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the proximity to the downtown area.
It was honestly a good price for a hotel with a really good location in Burlington. Not sure if you can find a nicer hotel for the price. If I were to come back I would try to find an Airbnb... Don't use the taxi service the concierge desk will call for you. The taxi they ordered for me took forever and the driver had been smoking in the van, so it smelled strongly of cigaret smoke. The taxi also charged me over double what an Uber cost to take me from the airport to the hotel. People were partying in the hotel rooms around us and they made a lot of noise and trash in the hallways. There were some hockey games going on in the area which I think is what brought the party crowd in.
AMAZING! A great location, loved the free bike rental, loved the staff, loved the pillows! Overall, a great stay~
Location was perfect for what we came to see. Front desk staff at check out was very helpful and accommodating after letting them know about our stay. Construction in the room above us early Monday morning. The room had clothing left behind from previous guest as well as an employee beer can under the dresser.
Polite staff and clean rooms. Had to pay for parking!
Friendly staff Fitness center needs redo
Big room. Big shower. Comfortable bed. Free shuttle from airport; arrived quickly. Nice restaurant was open late. No place to hang suits in room. Was given a double room for no good reason; voluntarily kept it instead of changing rooms on 2nd night. Mixed up parts of bill that were supposed to go to me vs. what goes to the company. Wound up with entire room rate on my card for what I though was a prepaid room, but receipt was mailed to company not to me.
Room had peeling paint on the ceiling- not something I want to see at over $200 for a night!!
the garden in the inner courtyard, the nature trail outside entrance doors too low and flimsy, lobby and courtyard garden dirty with detritus of the previous day, front desk staff too cool and directed at one another to be attentive and helpful to guests
the convenience of off the highway on the highway. the elevator was out of service, which was not a problem for us, but would be for a handicapped person. And we woke up to a power outage.
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The bathroom was big. Great location. Free parking and shuttle to downtown. The breakfast in the Club Floor 4th was not very good. The eggs tasted very bad.
I thought the room was above adequate and the courtyard was very well appointed
Storm absolutely rocked it with customer service. I hope the Storm never ends.
Club room Pool and gym poor
Great bar Expensive buffet
Room and dinning area were very nice They did not honor the Kayak price so, it cost and additional $90 to stay. Please be aware of this.
We like to be ecological responsible and chose not to have towels and bedding replaced everyday. we hung the sign on the door as directed and that wish was respected. What we did not expect was that the bed would not be made and the normal cleaning done. Disappointing.
My problem is with Booking.com. When I arrived, they did not have my reservation. Sheraton was kind enough to book it, and we were lucky on Graduation Weekend to be able to get a room. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I was not a pleasant experience.
Location. Easy to get to downtown Burlington. The hotel is older. Staff knowledgeable. Breakfast was fine with fruits and muffins, waffles, egg omelet. Great coffee! This is a pet friendly hotel and by the carpet stains, it showed. The upholstered seats on the 2 chairs were very stained. Otherwise, a great place.
My fiancé and I stayed in here on vacation. It was a great location right off I-89. We stayed in a business suite with a mini-fridge and freezer, microwave, extra sink, and downstairs office space. Perfect hotel room to for our needs. Everyone on staff was friendly and very helpful! The breakfast was okay for a continental breakfast included in our stay. The eating area was small, so we had to take breakfast back to our room on two occasions.
Staff was excellent They went extra mile to ensure we are comfortable and helped us find a way to keep our bikes safe. We were there on 4th and they guided us to see the town fireworks. Pool was a bonus for kids.
Low price, clean room and nice staff Breakfast wasn't anything special
Convenient, relatively inexpensive. Bathroom was clean. My first room had an unpleasant odor and so I switched rooms. The second room also smelled, but it was the only vacant room in the hotel. The carpet was damp underneath the heating/AC unit, probably due to condensation. I just avoided that portion of the room after I realized the carpet was pretty wet.
Price Dirty floors/carpets
They found a cat friendly motel for me, and assisted in getting my reservation money back. Pet friendly?! For dogs, yes. For cats, no.
The room was spacious, it had a microwave and a mini-fridge. The bed was comfy with lots of nice pillows. Everything was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going again. I had some minor difficulties with the wifi because our room was in the far corner of the building, but everything else was fantastic!
The staff friendly. The 2 bed suite is large & comfortable for a family. We prepared dinner in the room. The kitchen is well stocked, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The dishwasher was nice as well. The hotel is located out of the city and is very quiet. nothing
The staff was very kind and friendly. The picture of the pool made the pool look bigger than it was.
We were given a king suite on the first floor very near the pool and an exit. Perfect! There are several public spaces, including a gas grill and gas fire pit for guest use. Hot breakfast is included and the kitchenette was well stocked with utensils. No complaints!
The room was very nice. I didn't have to trip over my kids b/c there was so much space. The kitchen area in the room was great! Also, the hot tub was actually hot! I've found that most hotels keep theirs at a cooler temp., but this was very relaxing!
All the amenities..and the pool. One day, the housekeeping forgot to do our room...We did not leave any sign at the door.
Spacious, updated, super clean rooms and great included breakfast in the morning.
The service was outstanding, the best in Burlington, and we've stayed at more than 10 Burlington hotels in the past 3 years. It had a comfortable, well designed, elegant suite with a gorgeous kitchette and free wifi comes standard. Oh, it was quiet too Initially, I thought it was out of town, but Winooski is only a mile from UVM and is charming, on the river.
You can't go wrong most of the time with a Marriott. My room had the small kitchen. It was perfect for our needs for 4 days! They made good use of the space in those type of rooms. I would stay there again for sure.
The room was beautiful. The free breakfast was great, a big verity. The room was cozy and a perfect getaway for the weekend. The full kitchen in the room was so convinent. They had every thing right down to a wine bottle opener. Love love love this hotel. No
I needed to work from the room and the connection speed and reliability was great. It even had a wire connection. The room was clean, the free breakfast was very good. Having the kitchen was a big plus. You can hear people from other rooms a bit but everything was always quiet at night and early morning so not a problem.
Modern hotel. Good space planning, nice room. Yes, I was very shocked that you charge $100.00 for a pet stay. That really put me off I have never paid such an enormous amount ever! When I booked the hotel on line it never mentioned this cost. I have a tiny shiu tzu that is well trained. Th
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
This hotel is fine if you just need a cheap place to stay and don't plan on spending a ton of time in your room. It's clean enough and the bed was fine. It's more of a motel with the doors going right to the outside. You do need a key to use the elevators which helps with security. I personally prefer a hallway outside of my bedroom haha
The bathroom floor was in really bad shape. The sync was clogged. The wind was coming in the ventilation system in the bathroom, making noise all night like a whistle sound. Furniture in the room is all beat up and not clean. This is the worst experience in an hotel I've seen and I constantly travel every week for work.
I liked the convienence of the location between my 2 conferences
This hotel was convenient to UVM, and easily accessible from I-89. Clean room, friendly staff, acceptable breakfast buffet.
Comfortable bed. Room was not ready for check-in at 4PM. Also assigned room had the heat set so high it took hours for it to come down to a reasonable temperature.
Hotel was close to highway and offered clean rooms, free breakfast & coffee.
Staff could have been more pleasant. Fitted sheets are too small and implode on you when you crawl into bed (staff didn't put on correct size as requested). A bit pricey for the accommodations.
It was good and breakfast was very good for the price I paid Nothing everything was fine there
I flew to vermont and stayed in the quility inn,but the weather warmed up and the skiing wasn't worth the three days I had planned for.I told the front desk that I had planned on doing three nights, but was leaving early. They told me that because I had a special rate thst I would be charged for both nights. So that not great but the staff was very nice besides that.
Loved the airy, lodge-y feeling main common area, which we were able to use for a birthday party while there. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint was the sofa bed, not very comfortable.
Staff was very helpful. Loved the free breakfast, and they provided a pack n' play at no charge to us as well.
Very roomy and clean accommodations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Included breakfast and lunch wasn't gourmet, but the hotel was a fantastic deal, even excluding the complementary meals. Will definitely be staying here when I return to Burlington!
Was far more than expected. Staff was excellent. Suite was immaculate.
Great breakfast and nice evening reception. The suite was nice for a family. The bedroom was small for 3.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good w/ample choices for anyone. Pet friendly, there were tags to put on your room door to let people know a pet was staying there. Large comfortable suites.
Very convenient location - clean facilities - excellent staff
nothing Pool was broken Very noisy, people drinking late in the hallway
Amenities--all. Not a thing!
Place was in the right spot downtown, had a wonderful restaurant on spot, overall great place I would stay again The room next to us fought until about 3am and nothing was ever done about it.. I tried calling down but couldn't get thru to the desk for some reason.
This hotel was a good value. It did not have top of the line amenities but theit location, services and all around offering are in line with the rates they charge.
Employee's are excellent!!
rooms were clean. breakfast was good. location to colleges was good. staff was excellent traffic during week was bad. especially trying to get out of parking lot to college area.
I was very happy with this hotel. Easy access from highway, big, clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast. Everything was new/updated - carpets, bathroom fixtures, furniture, beds.
They say that the airport shuttle is available 24/7, but although it runs 24/7, they don't always have available seats. We had to take a 4:15am shuttle instead of the 4:45am shuttle we wanted. So not only did we have to hang around the airport longer than we'd hoped, but we had to wake up at 3:30 am.
Very comfortable bed, coffee maker, free wi-fi No hot tub.
The staff were super friendly. The room was big. There was mold in the bathroom shower (which my wife is severely allergic to!), the heat was stuck on and the room was 79 degrees. When I went to the front desk the employee on duty was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. So I had to struggle with the window to open it, but alas, it seemed to be jammed shut. Also, I'd like to note, the stains on the bedding sheets was off putting.
Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had a musty smell. Maid service disregarded do not disturb sign on the door and attempted to enter the room. Overpriced.
Rental bicycles in front entry for client use. Room view overlooking roof of adjacent building.
If you want a hotel that is truely Vermont in downtown Burlington this is the place. It is totally Vermont. Beds are wonderful, the staff is great and the hotel is beautiful.
Room and public areas were excellent. Everything worked. Surpringly nice fitness center. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Highly recommend!
Our room spacious with lots of windows. We liked having 2 separate sinks. Very quiet. We chose it for the cost. If you wanted to be closer to downtown, you had to pay more for the same comfort.
What an amazing deal we got for this place. We accidentally ordered the suite apparently and our room was HUGE. The staff was very friendly and it was a low-key environment seemingly insulated from the bustle around it. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard, and was well-stocked every morning. Our room was kept clean and we overall we loved our stay. The only issue I guess would be that there is NO indoor pool on premises. We asked and were told our key would work down at holiday inn to get us into the pool and hot tub though. We never used those facilities anyway but we would've if they were on-premises. Also, the floors of the room are surprisingly cold, thanks to the tile in the bathroom. I really have a hard time even thinking of "things I didn't like" because this place is great!
The room was beautifull and spacious and clean.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, Breakfast minimalist.
Clean Comfortable bed Modern bathroom Efficient
The gentleman at the front desk had a great sense of humor. There was a nice selection at the continental breakfast which can be tricky because of my dietary restrictions. The beds were extremely comfortable and the location was great for the price point we were looking for. I really enjoy when I can peruse a binder in the room with information about hotel amenities and area attractions. I was able to find information about the amenities online and area attractions in the lobby.
Quiet Clean Comfortable Bed Nice Sheets Door stuck Outdated room with stain on the ceiling No thermostat: heater/air conditioner unit seems to be from the 50s or 60s. Manual operation with lots of noise. They only give you a single coffee packet. No tea. Coffee maker is set up in the bathroom (!!!) with the cord screwed into the wall, so you can't even move it Carpet somehow stained Extremely noisy fan when you turn on the bathroom light
The bed was really comfortable. The room was OK overall. Location is convenient. Noisy neighbors well into the night. Staff was not particularly service oriented, basically friendly but not as helpful as they could have been. This was not a cheap stay, so not a great value, minimal amenities.
room smelled damp and stale.
The breakfast that is included with your stay In-room coffee maker Upon waking up on my last morning, I had 2 itchy, red welts...I got bed bugs...more have since developed! They do not offer conditioner (only a combination of shampoo and conditioner), only The exercise room is very bare bones, one treadmill and one crappy bike The hallway floors did not get vacummed once during my 3 day stay, they were dirty and full of salt from outside
Decor and presentation of our room was pleasing. Very comfy bed. Close to the lake in a decent area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Interiior decor of corridors was poor, carpet needs replacing. I was worried what state the room would be and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door.
The beds were really comfortable. Loved the location, so close to the airport and walking distance from University Mall. Staff really helpful and kind.
Loved the location. Close to everything in Burlington. Restaurant was awful!!!! Service was slow and it took over an hour to get our breakfast.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had a terrible experience the evening before, so we switched to the Courtyard. Seeing and listening to what happened, the staff did their best to allow us to take care of our vehicle while we waited for our room, and even accommodated an early check-in because of our needs. Thank you so much! You saved the 4th of July for us!!!
Nice Bed. The air conditioning in our room was not functioning. The front desk was rude. The elevators did not work. Did not sleep well in a hot room with street Lights shinning in the room.
Great staff. Attentive and professional. Clean hotel and good for famiy getaways. No small fridge in my room.
They had a sauna haha, very close to downtown burlington, stores, coffee, liquor store. Over all very good.
