Great staff. Good transportation, room layout, breakfast. Water pressure was a litle weak.
The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly. I was very surprised and disappointed that there were no microwave ovens available for the guest. A staff member told me the only microwave was on the first floor but after I dressed and went to the lobby, I had to ask a member of the cleaning crew to warm my food because the microwave was in the hotel's kitchen. This was very inconvenient . We also didn't realize we had to pay $8 per day to park.
I didn't like that on the floor that I was staying smelt like cleaner. It was a very potent smell and was unpleasant going from the elevator to my room.
Nice breakfast. Having a bar and snacks available at night.
It was very close to the airport.
I enjoyed my stay. Comfortable room and good breakfast.
Parking charge. I requested an AARP discount and was told I had to request at the time of booking.
It was a very quiet area and the blackout curtains were awesome. We appreciated the refrigerator in one of the room since we made cheesecakes that needed to go in them. The other room we had was accessible for elderly. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and my mother n law's room smelled damp and musty. I didn't like how our window was open when we checked in at 11pm.
the girl at the desk was really nice. The beds were super comfortable, and our room was very clean. the breakfast should be open till 10am, it closes at 9. the tv was older, flat screen but not a smart tv. The desk chair was old and had a big rip in it. The area right around the hotel was okish, but just down the road is pretty rough.
Close to airport and shuttle . Good price for a overnight stay before catching another flight Aging furniture
Nothing at all!!!! But the price! Complete trash!!!! Like a trap house in there! Glad it was only for one night
It was great. Liked everything
Dirty, loud, old
They had roaches and I have video footage!!!!!
Nothing. This place is scary. Looked like drug deals going down in the parking lot. The ceilings are crazy low everywhere, room reeked of weed, the bagels may have been a year old, our room was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. There was a very kind lady at the front desk. Other than that, AWFUL. I have NO idea how it has the rating it does. Trust me pay more and stay at the LaQuinta next door.
Hate the place. Dirty, loud. Smell marijuana every anywhere
Super cute environment, great service at the bar. Loved it!
Cleanliness of room needs improvement
Service was phenomenal. The architecture of the building itself is beautiful, and the location is wonderful - convenient proximity to a lot of great dining and shopping
The hotel itself is very nice. Nothing very close in terms of restaurants etc.
Close to the airport We arrived very later after a canceled flight to find out that the room we had reserved online was not available. It seemed there was only one person in the entire hotel that night who was responsible for all of its occupants. She was not able to find us another room anywhere in the area.
Very close/walking distance to MARTA station. The shuttle was very handy, running every 30 minutes/24 hrs. The drivers were very nice and helpful as well. The room cleanliness needs improvement - due to our late check-in, had to ask for sanitizing wipes to clean the counters and all surfaces since housekeeping wouldn't be back until morning. Not a lot of dining options nearby, and when we wanted to order room service for breakfast we were told they couldn't deliver due to lack of staff, even though the menu offered room service during the breakfast hours.
Tiffany was over the top amazing.
good room, near the arport there isn't the breackfast we have payed, after we have sayd they give us a ticket with 20$ discaunt but the breackfast are very expensive and ticket is not enough
Friendly staff, good food, shuttle to airport and clean accommodations. Would definitely stay here again. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.
I needed to overnight in Atlanta on an ongoing trip and it suited me perfectly at the airport. No
Good basic room in a convenient location near the Atlanta Airport. We wanted a cheap place to stay on our way to Puerto Rico. Newspaper was nice. Hotel has convenient shuttles to airport every 1/2 hour. The only thing was the breakfast waffle tasted like cardboard. But there were plenty of other options so this is just me being picky.
Conveniently located to Atlanta International airpoirt
Staff courtesy, clean rooms, early morning breakfast (4.00am)
Staff was very friendly and helpful, specially Mr Patel and the airport shuttle drivers. Hotel is located very close to the airport and they provide free transportation to a nearby restaurant. Would go back again.
My room was on a ground floor. N/A
The value for money was excellent. The free shuttle service from the airport was extremely convenient (once you know where to find it at the airport, which took a while). There's a public transportation stop right outside the hotel. Free Internet access in the lobby at non-crowded times (nominal fee if other people are waiting in queue to discourage sitting there forever). The free continental breakfast was very light on content. I did not get an accurate perception of the establishment from Booking.com: I thought I was going to a hotel but it was really a motel, with the rooms all accessible from the parking lot. I was fine with it once I made the mental readjustment but it wasn't quite what I'd expected. The photos make the place look a bit shinier than it actually is. The lobby and rooms are actually a bit more run down than in the photos, but still quite passable.
Cheap price, free shuttle to domest terminal only. Located right under runway path, very noisy from planes taking off. Car alarm went off during night too. Bargain prices, you get what you pay for, I won't be returning.
I like the conveniance of being able to check in at 2:00 am. It seemed a little easy access for trouble makers to gain the attention of the guest.
nice friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Free Shuttle bus to airport and transport connections was great. in the direct flight path of the airport so a little bit noisy.
I was very please staying at the Hilton Garden very clean!! a very good deal usually those kinds of hotel are always very expensive no
The front desk guy was overworked but in a good mood. He was helpful and courteous. Bath tub/shower did not drain properly. Access by personal car was confusing.
decent hotel. Bussiness center very handy and well equipped. airco somewhat noisy.
The Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again. I did not like the fact that parking was not included.
The bed and pillows were great! Using the third party for booking means I don't get Hotel benefit credit.
Service was great and hotel staff got us a pack and play for our 6 month old really fast. Room was cozy, but spacious. Wish we could have stayed longer! N/A
Check in was quick and customer service was professional and positive. Loved the staff's kind energy. Bed was uncomfortable and too soft.
Front desk provided great customer service
Newer hotel with convenient shuttle to the airport. It is relaxing and hidden off of the main road. The beds have adjustable comfort levels. The granola bars at check iin the lobby at check in were delicious. Due to the proximity of the hotel to the airport, we could hear planes taking off from our room. The air conditioning was louder than usual. Breakfast was only available for an additional cost (average $12 each).
The price for what you're getting and where you're staying is tough to beat. The room was clean. The A/C worked well. The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was hot and tasty. While the hotel we kept clean, it is still incredibly old and outdated. The A/C, while it served it purpose, was incredibly loud. The elevators bounced for at least a minute before opening to let you out. The wallpaper needs replacing. Just overall, the hotel needs a facelift. That is mainly cosmetic though. However, something that is problematic and not simply cosmetic is the parking situation. I'm not quite sure how they were originally able to permit for such a large hotel with so few parking spots but it's a joke. Throughout most of the day, every single spot is taken up and you end up with people trying to squeeze their car in wherever they can, often times having to park illegally just to be near the hotel. At least point there's nothing they can do beyond building an unrealistic park garage so just keep that in mind.
Courtney in the front desk was the only nice staff member, she took good care of everything I asked her. The fifth floor, even a non-smoking floor, smelled like they have been smoking for years, when I told that to the person at the front desk she said "well, our smoking floor is the second one, maybe it's because of the smells in the elevator", which is absolutely absurd and does not solve the problem. The staff at the restaurant was careless, they only showed up to the table to take the order and deliver it. They didn't even looked at the table during the whole time I was there. The bedroom was not visibly dirty but the bathroom smelled like urine. I would never stay there again or advise someone else to do it. It was very unpleasant and uncomfortable.
Location to airport The hotel is outdated in general. Stains in the tub makes you not want to use it without flip flops on. A simple refinish of the tub and paint throughout the entire hotel would easily improve appearance. The small pillows on the king size bed needs to go. They should at least be comfortable if you are going that route. The carpet is disgusting and in need of replace or a good shampoo. The elevated reeked of smoke & pee. There were people arguing in the halls at 2 am. I'd recommend putting roudy types on certain floors away from those there to catch an early flight. The continental breakfast was a nice benefit and average with a waffle maker section, eggs, cereal, sausage, and mini muffins. I'd choose another hotel if needed again.
Staff was friendly, pretty responsive overall. Outdated and rundown a little, wifi was sketchy and frequently dropped, close to highway that has a lot of traffic all night (loud), nothing really appealing within walking distance, complimentary breakfast was okay, but not great. Just generally so-so.
Friendly staff Someone tried to break into our room. Reported it to the front desk at checkout and so far no one from Howard Johnson has contacted us.
It is very professional, clean, trustful . We like it very much.
Any hotel in this area is very convenient to the Atlanta airport. This hotel shows it's age.
Great hotel near the airport and for the price it was well worth the stay! If I ever get stuck in Atlanta again I know where to go!
It ended up being a great stay but it was a little rocky when we got there. I booked a regular king room but they gave us a king with a handicapped shower. They moved us to a double bed room which I was not happy about because the beds were twin sized. They next morning the front desk supervisor put us in an executive king suite for the inconvenience so it all balanced out. They were nice people and Ms. Kim, that did breakfast, was extremely nice. :)
Great hotel, especially for the price. The staff were especially nice and the rooms were modern and very clean. includes free shuttle to the airport and a big breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
The desk clerk had given away the non-smoking rooms that I reserved. I was also reserving 3 rooms for others and had called ahead to see what I needed to do for payment and I was told that my card on file for reservation was enough. Only when my party checked in the clerk threatened to give away the rooms without my card. He then photocopied all of their ids even though I told him I would fax the info. The staff and the organization was very poor and I will not be back.
Close to the airport and shuttle provided for free
Location near airport and good friendly van service I arrived at 1030 and they did not have a room ready until 4 pm, even though checkin is listed at 3 pm
Very good location, convenient shuttle to airport. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and nice. This hotel does not compare with others of the chain. All carpets need renovation, outdated TV sets, radio/clock and coffe maker. The breakfast did not offer the same variety as the one we stayed in Atlanta Perimeter. The front desk person was not friendly or helpful. We asked for extra pillows that were never delivered. We asked for a bottle of water and the attendant used a rude frase to say that they were finished.
Accomodation was comfortable, the room was well equiped and clean with good internet access. Business Center was also well equiped.
I liked that it was easy to get to the airport with shuttle buss. Breakfast was really good and i did not get bored even though I ate it three mornings. Price was also reasonable. I could imagine to stay at the same hotel again :)
The hotel was clean and the PAID staff was very friendly I did not like that my credit card was fraudulently charged 3 separate times for 2 different amounts on 2 different dates. I did not like that the owner K. Patel was extremely rude and laughed when I called to inquire about the charges. I did not like that She was not helpful and flat out told me to call back after I had calmed down from them stealing my money.I did not like that I had to call my bank to resolve the matter as the owners of the motel had no intention of assisting me. I will NEVER stay at this motel again and advise anyone that does to watch their statements for multiple unapproved charges.
Staff were nice, bed was comfortable, and room was quiet. Overall facility was not clean. Found a hair in my oatmeal. "Fitness Center" consisted of a treadmill in disrepair that worked intermittently, and a reclining bike with broken water bottle holder and loose fittings. The weight machine was rusty, and also in need of servicing.
Gentleman at front desk was nice. Just needed room for overnite stay due to airline connection. Wouldn't wAnt to spend multiple nights. Area around hotel very dark. Nowhere to eat within walking distance. Eat before you get there.
Economical; spacious; good breakfast bar; friendly service In need of some repairs; overly reeked of air freshener in places; staff is well-meaning, but gave us key to room that was already occupied before quickly moving us to "proper" room. No harm, no foul in this case, but pretty sure we'll find somewhere else for our next overnight stay in Atlanta
Front desk staff was very helpful, and have us tons on extra blankets when we only asked for 1. Great people, clean, comfortable. Nothing
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We had an early out, so the location was perfect. The breakfast was good.
To noises, inclining HVAC unit
Not enough parking
Good breakfast bar; comfortable beds; spacious rooms; friendly staff; economical long term parking; good overall value Facilities need updating; air freshener smell a little strong; wish the long term parking agreement had a few more formalities simply to feel more confident about safety of car while away

Great location, very spacious and quiet. Traveled with two tweens and had enough room for everyone!
The bed was comfortable & the staff was pleasant The coffee in the room was terrible, my air/heat did not work correctly. Breakfast was disappointing.
excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff, very clean we had booked the room for a family of 4, only service for 3 bath towels, etc.bedding was great, pillows too over stuffed for our liking, not good quality mattresses, noisy when moved in bed 4th floor airplanes noise, over priced
The staff was excellent. My boys enjoyed their stay. One of the house cleaning ladies gave my son a $1 for his birthday. He was so excited. Variety of breakfast. The $12 parking (too high)
The room. Very clean! Breakfast. Food items were scarce, and no one came out to replenish or clean up the eating areas.
Very Hip room , nice staff , small pool , 15mins to downtown .
Ease of access to and from airport. Hotel was clean and very modern. Rooms also very modern and spacious. Front desk staff were very friendly. No bacon at breakfast
The ability to push our luggage on a smartcart from ATL baggage claim directly into our room and then back on the SKy Train to the rental car center the next morning was quite a neat trick! They obviously have quite a time keeping the carpets clean from all the foot traffic. The elevators have an incredibly ugly carpet that shows stains badly.
The hotel conditions were fine as far as comfort and cleanliness. I booked this room through Kayak and upon arrival was told that they gave my room away because earlier they tried to run my credit card and said it declined. They offered me a single King bed for 20 more dollars than the original booked price. I called booking.com and they informed me that they were required to keep my room until 6pm in that situation. We arrived at 4:30pm and they did not honor the terms. We ended up getting the single King for only 5 dollars more than the booked price only after calling booking.com. Proceeded to give them the same exact card they said was declined and amazingly was approved. The girl that helped me at the desk was incredibly rude very uninterested in helping us with our situation. After getting up early to depart I went down to the lobby and the night person was sleeping at the front desk! I would not recommend staying at this location or possibly any Days Inn if this is exceptable service from their employees.
Comfy beds. Direct TV. Fridge. Microwave. WiFi. Big bathroom. Close to public transportation. Close to the airport. Loose outlets. My charger would slip out with the greatest ease. The cable kept going out. Wifi was too slow.
Noisy, uncomfortable sheets, poor lighting, dingy bathrooms, way overpriced
Free shuttle wasn't available 24/7, was stranded at the airport for 3 hours waiting for the shuttle and it never showed up. And when i was checking out i was told the shuttle leaves at 6 am but it left around 6:30 am and it had limited seats so i ended up taking a rideshare to the airport to catch my flight. Nothing. I do not want a credit. Just fix it There was trash on floor, hair in towels, "stains" on couch, no coffee, a pillow with no case, etc
No one bothered you. It was great. The pool was closed. I was looking forward to it. It was hot
Terrible place! Not worth your money! Dirty and worn out. It needs a major remodeling. I was afraid to takeoff my shoes and afraid of bed bugs.
The only good thing I can say is the gentleman who worked there was nice. My room was "scary", stains on the comforter, smelled of cigarette smoke, I didn't want to use the bathroom and didn't! I requested another room, the man working there changed my room with no charge. The 2nd room REKED of cigarette smoke so bad, I almost threw up. My shirt that I carried on a hangar smelled so bad of smoke, it was unwearable! My clothes I had on my back smelled!!!! I did get my refund but my husband said my credit card was charged TWICE and when I contacted BOOKING.COM the 1st time, the lady said she would call me back, to this date no one has called me back. Then I called back, and was hung up on. I called right back and I couldn't get through. When I finally did talk with someone he kept lying!! He said the lady called me at 6:24. Hmmm, I hadn't arrived at the hotel at that time so I wouldn't have known the conditions and I had no miss calls on my phone. Then he said she emailed me. Up until this date and time, no I have NOT!!! WORSE Experience and I will NEVER use your Site again! I have warned others about your site!
We had reservation for two double beds. But they says all rooms are booked. We have to argued and then they gave me.
Room was old and dirty!!! Seems like a lot of people live in these rooms on extended terms. Smelled terribly of smoke..
Nothing. Everything. From the staff at the front desk to the cleanliness. This place is filthy and unorganized.
absolutely nothing but the price the roaches at this place is soooooo bad, I left my food unattended to shower, came back roaches were allllllll in my box, this place was so effin disgusting.
There is no such thing as a "non-smoking" room there. I had to get a refund and stay someone else. Don't even bother with this place.
Landscaping Run down. Worn Out.
went to a conference
Lack of easy accessibility to stores or rest.
Close to the airport and interstate. Purposeful. Complimentary coffee and buiscuits. Breakfast was served on styrofoam plates, flatware was plastic.
complimentary brekky was awesome. due to the late check in, i was unable to use a shuttle service.
We reserved a room with two queen beds. We were put in a handicapped room with a double bed. I was traveling with my teenaged son for a wrestling tournament. He needed a good night's sleep but had to sleep on a roll away cot in a very small room. We paid 120.00 for this room and couldn't even get two beds as promised. We were very unhappy with this but we were told that since we booked through a third party there were no guarantees. Very unhappy with this experience and will not stay with this hotel or recommend to friends for future tournaments.
Hotel shuttle to and from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport every half hour. Less than 10 min ride to hotel. The room and carpet was very clean, bed and pillows comfortable, breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, staff friendly. My room was on the 5th floor. A clean hotel supersedes money for me, however definitely well worth the money which was $104/night. Check-in at 3p, Check-out at 12.
Abby is the name of the desk clerk. She is/was absolutely awesome
Very comfortable beds, quiet even if the location is very near the airport, free shuttle service, we will use it again.

Close proximity to the airport hotel was being remodeled but staff did not tell me this when I checked in.I was just given my room number. When i stepped off the elevator I though i had made a mistake....the entire floor looked like an unfinished building with no carpet holes in the floor sawdust everywhere. Looked the area had been bombed. The room was totally different however. it would have been nice and the right thing to do have done which would have been told what to expect .
After a long night and a missed connection, we found BWAE had best cleanliness and overall ratings of nearby hotels. It was a quick shuttle from airport, rates were reasonable, and staff pleasant. Rooms were surprisingly clean, fresh white linens, recent updates etc. Bath was clean but a bit dated however some updates had been made. Due to the late hour, we didnt look around much beyond the bed and bathroom in the few hours we stayed. Walking into the lobby, we were initially concerned that we made the wrong choice because of the old, musty smell but thankfully it stopped there.
My family appreciate the kindness of the staff My kids were frustrated not to have been able to use the swimming pool which was not cleaned.
Wonderful staff! Beautiful, contagious, bubbly personalities! I had an issue with my credit card while checking in for incidentals due to my bank being unaware of my cross country trek. The staff were very accommodating and patient while I contacted my bank to correct the fraud speculation. Thank you for making my stop a good one!
Unplanned stop-over in Atlanta - this hotel was the only one having rooms available - so that was positive. Smoothing iron was broken but was replaced within 30 minutes. Although sheets and towels were clean, the overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired - it came with two cockraches included! Amneties - None. Breakfast? - well okay there was some. 100 Dollars for this stay was way overpriced!
The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled so it was in excellent condition. I liked best the continental breakfast, it was great since I was leaving early and had no time for a sit down breakfast. No complaints, it worked well for my purposes.
Parking. Close to airport. Airport noise. Room not serviced day 2.
I stayed here for one night on a weekend. I was able to get the room I wanted with a king bed, which was a nice luxury. My room and bathroom were very clean, which I guess is due to the recent renovations that someone mentioned in a review I read when looking at this hotel. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was spotless, and there were no weird smells in my room. Thankfully the place wasn't overrun by families with small children, which can sometimes be overwhelming for a young couple. But at the same time it seemed like it was definitely family friendly. The breakfast was your standard complimentary hotel breakfast. The front desk staff was a hit or miss. The person who checked me in was rude but the person who checked me out was welcoming and not rude.
Erroneous fire alarm
I liked the cleanness of the room and the vicinity of the airport. The front desk staff was very correct. There wasn't a scale to weigh our baggage.
The staff was wonderful.
We had to move our reservation last minute. Though we went through an online service, it was easy to work with the hotel to make the last minute necessary changes with no extra costs or stipulations. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider a return visit.
Price. Airport shuttle. Shuttle drivers were fantastic. After booking my room for the duration of a company convention, I learned that an associate wanted to share a room. I called and asked about upgrading to a two bed room. The employee told me that, because had booked through a third party site, the reservation could not be changed. I asked about the possibility of a roll away bed, and was told that was available. Imagine my surprise upon our arrival to be told that there are no roll away beds at this hotel. AWKARD!!!! But we made it work.
They had my papers printed when I arrived There was water all over the bathroom floor as if the toilet over flowed or ceiling had been leaking. And the lady at the desk was rude when asking if I was parked by the front window, i.needed to move my car because the light was blinding her
very accomodating free bus from the airport service desk-complete lack of professionalism and care numerous roaches in the bathroom room was not cleaned; hair and dark spots were present after we came back from town from what we have learned the owner paid the workers low wages and had them live on the premises. It felt more like a shelter than a hotel. Would definately not stay there again.
Shuttle was available early and on time pillows were very flat
nothing nothing the hotel was in a gvhetto area and it was horrifying. The hotel had poor security and freely allowed people to smoke drugs on the premises as you could smell it. They also failed to have my reservation.
Hallways and rooms smelled really bad. Seemed like the place hadn't been renovated in decades
The services The breakfast was very poor. There was a toaster but nothing to toast and a microwave but nothing to microwave. Only danish pastries and muffins which were too sweet for our taste
The staff was very helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The shuttle service is very convenient. The fan in the bathroom was a little noisier than it should have been. A minor niggle though.
helpful night staff needs a face lift. the place is a dump.
Nothing The hotel was an absoulte dump, the clientele for the hotel looked like protitutes and pimps. The area is very unsafe and looks like something from boys in the hood
Shuttle bus, walking distance to restaurant, quiet
I liked that the staff where friendly specially the shouttle crew. the hotel was close to the airport but it not value for money. the actual room does not represent the value paid. i did appreciate the free wifi which now is more like a norm in hotels. The continental breakfast was awful, poorly presented and not appealing. I left to eat outside. Stayed 1 night but the Hotel was more like a motel. The room was old looking and extremely dirty. I could see dust deposits on all the corners of the room. It had burn marks (like made with a candle) on the ceiling. the carpet was dirty plus the carpet directly over the sink had a large sticky patch. I can only assume it was some gel or shampoo. The bed blanket was also very worn.
This hotel is placed in a very bad neighborhood and at the airport we were told by two independed persons that we should stay at the hotel and only leave by taxi or shuttle bus if we wanted to go out for dinner!!
