Adequate but basic
The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.
The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.
Breakfast was nice and generally the hostel was ok with the biggest advantage being the location.
The beds were really uncomfortable and the rooms were not well isolated. The windows open or close made almost no difference to the noise or cold. The common area were not very inviting and the overal atmosphere wasn't great.
I liked the breakfast, the staff was very nice and helpful and the location was perfect
I didnt really like the fact that at 11pm the public space closed down and we needed to go to sleep, i had throwback to kindergarden
The individual drawers under the bed Good number of plugs for everyone Common room, bedding and breakfast were pretty good
Disgusting kitchen in the evening Showers are awful: you cant adjust the water temperature, and you usually end the shower in the dark because of the timer Staff is not very friendly, the check-in process did not go smoothly since employee 1 was busy with a big group and employee 2 did not bother to help me. Long wait. Last but not least: location is on a crazy busy and noisy street, no chance to sleep !!!!!!!!!! I slept in better places in Dublin, I would definitely NOT recommend that one :(
I loved the atmosphere
