Cons: The food was slapped up and Luke warm coffee came out cold in both pots also there a language barrier in restaurant main bar good fab music and staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was lovely the staff very friendly I would recommend this property to my friends
Cons: Had a problem with the restaurant he asked had we a voucher dident understand what he meant when we went to settle bill we were charged again even though we had paid for dinner when we arrived we should have recieved voucher to say food was paid but we Haden’s recieved one but the served dealt with it and apolized for mistake
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfect, it was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, a lovely high firm mattress. The room temperature was just right, it was 100%. It is an ideal hotel, with extremely high standards of comfort and cleanliness. Very modern and it is an ideal hotel for a romantic break away or holiday. There is also a fine big bar downstairs with lots of live entertainment at night, plenty of great music and dancing. Also the staff are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Location is excellent as Ennis town is very close by with lots of restaurants and a cinema. I would highly recommend the West County Hotel for Couples who want a romantic getaway.
Cons: The WiFi was a strange set up. We were staying for 2 nights for Valentine's weekend but we were only allowed to access the WiFi for free for 24 hours and we love to watch Netflix movies. After that we were disconnected from it and had to pay to access it for the rest of our stay. We never had that problem before in other hotels we stayed in. I feel that as paying guests, it was just greed for more money off us. We should have been given free access for the duration of our stay. But apart from that, everything else about the hotel was perfect, and there is a good cinema close by if you want to watch a movie.
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful hotel in a brilliant location. The rooms were super comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bar are restaurant are top class with the food in the restaurant a particular highlight. We went for lunch the following day in the bar and could not fault it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The noise in the corridors started from 6am onwards. Could not get a proper nights sleep. The hotel really needs to consider sound proofing the rooms. It was normal passing traffic in the hallways however one could hear every slamming door and passing footsteps and the house cleaning staff knocking on the doors. In the end we gave up trying to sleep.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: It would be good value for money if the place was painted and cleaned up. Good location.
Cons: We arrived the day before new years eve. First night went well however it became clear the next day the hotel was completely full of a large group of people and the hotel was completely over run by them and taken over. I found it very uncomfortable and it completely ruined our second night there. We ended up having to sit in your room for the whole of new years eve. We had kids running up and down the hotel at all hours of the evening and people drunk banging on our doors. It was a total discrase8the way they were allowed to go on and the hotel staff were you able to control them. The hotel was also in huge need of a renovation it was tired and really need updating
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool and been able to use the gym and the music in the pub on both nights that was great
Cons: The restaurant at the hotel was very slow on the first night when we arrived we had dinner there and the staff took our order but they never asked if we wanted any drinks so we had to ask and when I asked the woman can we get two drinks she's was like yeah and she never came back and we got a steak but we were given a butter knife to cut the steak they were just slow all together
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous and great selection to choose from. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. My son enjoyed his Sunday morning swim in the leisure centre. Location was excellent for our trip to Ennis.
Cons: Hotel could do u serious updating of the bathrooms and windows in the bedrooms, the carvery/play area is quite dirty and untidy.

7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely comfortable and our room was spotless. Room supplies, such as teas/coffee and bathroom sets were topped up daily, we never had to request extra. Something important to me is a good hot power shower and the en-suite facilities did not disappoint.
Cons: The Leisure Centre particularly the pool didn't open until 9am and closed to children at 7pm which I felt was a little early, especially when you had spent the day out sightseeing. It would've been nice to have been able to enjoy the facilities together as a family, but were limited by those times unfortunately.

Pros: Great location super close to airport and a lot of shops. My suitcase broke and they were able to direct me to the perfect shop to get a new one for a good price. Very knowledgeable
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Despite arriving in the middle of the night the concierge was extremely helpful and friendly. Daytime staff great as well, taking care of my requests immediately. I was surprised by a very high standard of the hotel itself, especially well-thought-out and interestingly designed hall and corridors. Room was fine, bathroom a little old, but all was in perfectly good shape and functioned perfectly.
Cons: I arrived on a very cold night and appreciated the warm room for sure. The problem was the room was boiling hot and instead of going straight to bed - I needed to wait for 20 minutes (with an open window and heaters turned off) until the room's temperature became bearable again. A little too much of the good... ;)

Pros: How close it is to the airport.
Cons: The thinks we didn't like: The black mold in the bathroom, a bathroom door that closed, an AC unit that worked, the smoke smell, and the quality of the food. Wish I eat at McDonald's instead of the restaurant.... would had been a better meal.

Pros: Bedrooms very lovely, warm and spotless. Very comfortable. Free parking. Food was delicious.
Cons: Staff very friendly. Great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There are so many incredible things to say about this hotel and it's staff. The guy who worked in the mornings (Brian) was so helpful to get me an early check-in when I requested it, and in the evening Shane printed off a bus schedule for me. Speaking of which, it's a simple 15 minute bus ride (costs 2.50 each way) to and from Shannon airport, and there's a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, and even offered to bring food and a pint up to my room if I had requested. The room itself was way bigger than I expected and was clean & comfortable. There's a small market about a 5-minute walk away (called Mace), which has everything you'd ever need if that's your thing. Plus there's a larger market and a number of restaurants about a 15 minute walk away. This was a great stay for a night stopover in Shannon and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Cons: Small thing renovations ongoing and the vending machine was removed
7.7 Good
Cons: Wi-Fi did not work during our stay (could log in but no ability beyond that - I heard another customer at the front desk showing the problem on their tablet (i.e. it was a hotel problem) but it was never fixed for them or for us. With no international phone coverage on my mobile, Wi-Fi as promised would have been helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marie was welcoming and thoughtful. It was our last night in Ireland and we had to get to the airport early. Marie provided our breakfast early on a Sunday morning. My husband left his Irish cap in the room when we left and she very nicely mailed it to us at home! Location was close to town. Walkable, although we took our car into the town center, but parking was easy.

Pros: We loved everything, a good choice of accommodation to attend a family function in the town, and the hotel's proximity to everything, including the 1 minute walk to Chapel Sunday a.m. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great - we enjoyed the choices of cooked food, and the smoothie. AND loved the kitty cat sitting at the front door of the hotel
Cons: Can't think of anything - except the weather!! but the hotel had no control over that.

7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely staff. Nice spacey clean rooms! Good tv channels. Lovely views from the room!
Cons: Not in Ennis town centre - 10 minute €14 taxi to the centre. Slightly outdated but that adds to the charm.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful.
