Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location near the river, cycle paths, and local attractions. The breakfast received many positive mentions for its quality and variety. Service from the host, Tim, was frequently described as friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms and property were also highlighted, as were the comfortable beds. A few minor issues were noted, such as firmness of beds for some and occasional discomfort with the proprietor's attentiveness, but overall, guests had a very positive experience and many expressed a desire to return.
