Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's unbeatable location near the train, ferry, and fjord, making it ideal for exploring Flåm. Many highlight the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and pleasant atmosphere. However, a major recurring complaint is the extremely high price, which many feel is not justified by the room size, amenities, or overall value. The presence of large cruise ships often obstructs the fjord view and crowds the town, detracting from the tranquil experience some guests expect. Breakfast and room sizes receive mixed feedback, with some finding them adequate and others underwhelmed. Overall, the location and staff are the hotel's strongest assets, but the value for price is a significant concern.
