Pros (+) Love the location of this hotel - very close to Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens, as well as the Ufizzi. I love the area and literally seeing the Boboli garden house from the breakfast table. The breakfast is pretty nice quality and the view from the terrace is one of the nicest in Florence. The hotel has also adopted two friendly cats that laze on the terrace. The staff has always been terrific.
Cons (-) I did not like the noise this time. I have stayed at this hotel before, but on upper floors. This time I was on the second floor and the street noise of the vendors setting up at 5 am, and people stumbling and singing back from the bars late into the night was more than I'd experienced previously.
