Pros: My breakfast was good and on time. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water and did not keep going cold.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the position of the room. I could hear the people coming in and the phone ringing. Otherwise everything was perfect.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Service was excellent, helpful, prompt and friendly. Books to read. Very relaxing ambience and creative decor.
Cons: Room was a bit small. Balcony a bit tired.

Pros: Nice relaxing site and clean. Son enjoyed the hire bike and pool time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close proximity to where we had to go. Staff very accomadating
4.0 Okay
Pros: It was available for our one night stay and in a good spot.
Cons: The cabin was so dirty, just everything about it needed a good scrub and a lick of paint. Just gross. If i’d intended to stay more than the one night, I would have just gone somewhere else. Disappointing for the price. Definitely not what I expected from the reviews I read or the price I paid.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Food in restaurant was excellent
Cons: Room needed ceiling repairs Pool uncleaned Staff rude at restaurant and poor at reception Rubbish near room smelt really bad Note: I don’t typically give poor ratings but this was really bad
7.0 Good
Pros: Restaurant was good. Room was spacious and balcony had nice view. Tea and coffee, microwave and cooktop available and fridge was larger than average size. Pool area was great. Pool was not heated but refreshing in summer.Close to beach and good coffee shops.
Cons: Continuous and fairly loud machinery noise could be heard in room ( not from air-con or fridge)
6.7 Good
Pros: Large rooms. Very comfortable beds.
Cons: We dined at the restaurant and enjoyed very good food that was priced well, however the night was overshadowed by the officious senior waitress who was verging on being confrontational with pretty much every table. With the restaurant barely half full, mostly with couples, it was hard to fathom why guests were turned away because they ‘hadn’t made a booking’. “We need to know who’s coming” was the standard response when disappointed guests pointed out the many empty seats. An attitude adjustment and a bit of finesse required to lift service to match the quality of the menu. The junior waitress was lovely.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Having to call up so much , we wouldn’t of been able to into our room I’f we didn’t call
6.0 Good
Pros: Location of Mercure good. The food in the restaurant (where we dined on Saturday night 15 February) was good but the restaurant was understaffed. The staff who were there coped well in the circumstances, particularly with one or two irate customers.
Cons: The whole facility is tired. The adults only pool was closed and overgrown. The passageways needed a good sweep. There were many cracked and broken tiles in the passageways. The towel rails in the bathroom were rusty. The fittings around the shower taps were loose.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Cup wasn't clean, we were put in a smelly wet room. Someone tried to enter our room/ opened our door. Very dated venue, wouldn't give us money back on second night even though we didn't stay.
7.1 Good
Cons: We were there for a wedding and couldn’t check in earlier.
