Pros:This was the most affordable hotel I could find for this weekend. Due to the art festival in town for the weekend I believe that the hotel prices were significantly hiked.
Cons:Children running through the halls screaming and crying. Doors slamming. Not super dirty but definitely not the cleanest hotel I've ever been in. Really uncomfortable bed. When my first room door wouldn't unlock with my key I went back to the desk and asked for a new (working) room and possibly in a quieter location. She was very nice, stated that there were a lot of children in the hotel that night, and proceeded to place me in a room one floor up but still right next to the elevator and vending machines. I mean, what hotel staff doesn't know that the elevator and vending machines are the loudest part of the floor? I was only there for one night to take an important certification exam in the morning so I didn't want to spend much money but I really should have just shelled out the cash for a better hotel.

Pros:Jackie the front desk lady was the sweetest, considering how rude the guest were to her and she kept her cool.
Cons:I wish I had more space to deeply describe how absolutely terrible this stay was, the hotel itself had a bar inside that was playing loud music and the halls were full of people. The room was even worse mold stains on the ceiling in the bathroom, blood stains on towels the floor was wet. I'm so glad we brought our own pillows and blankets or we would have slept in the car. It was a absolute nightmare.

Cons:- Cigarette burns in out sheets and blankets - Super smelly everywhere. Somehow the whole building just smells really bad. - Pretty weird part of town - First time I've ever legitimately been worried about bed bugs. Yeesh.

Pros:They allowed pets for a small fee ($26). But nowhere near worth the small savings in price over other hotels.
Cons:Although I was able to have my pet here, I was not comfortable leaving him in the room alone. Check your neighborhoods before booking. Not the best environment. I was uncomfortable from the minute I parked in the parking lot. Cigarette butts everywhere on the ground and in the grass. Overgrown and shady facade. Dingy and dirty inside. As I was checking in, a family was complaining about how dirty their room was. Complained of bugs in their bed and a deplorable bathroom that had some left overs in the toilet, etc... Loud bar. Luckily I stayed on the 4th floor. All hallways were dirty and smelled. Elevators were sketchy at best. Luckily our room was ok. Clean sheets and pillows. A/C worked well as did our lights. VERY OLD TV and bathroom. Needed updated. Very thin walls and noises constantly. ONLY ICE MACHINE THAT WORKED WAS ON THE 3RD FLOOR according to a note hastily written by hand on the first floor ice machine. Check your neighborhoods first! Hotel across the way is a hotel for registered sex offenders that can't find housing far enough away from schools! (Check local news bulletins and Crime Reports sites). There was at least one registered at this hotel as well! I have no idea HOW this hotel is on KAYAK or Hotels.com or any other site without some notification of this. Bottom line: Not worth saving a few $$ by not staying at a NAME BRANDED hotel with standards and guidelines. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. I read the mediocre to bad reviews and wanted to save a few dollars since I was only in town for one night. I decided to take a chance. I have learned my lesson. At least stay at the Best Western right next door. Please do not make the mistake I did. I am reaching out to Hotels.com to notify them of the same because they booked my room.

Pros:LOTS of kid-friendly amenities: pools, ping pong, mini golf, shuffleboard, billiards; the staff was attentive and professional, easy access from highway, I got a great rate online at the last minute
Cons:the elevators were really smelly and the doors on one kept acting like they weren't going to fully open, which concerned my young son, the mattresses were old and hard, the bathroom needed updating, the towels were pretty skimpy and worn out, the hot tub was filthy
