9.6 Excellent
Pros: I LOVED everything about this 2-bedroom property with the exception of the walking distance from the guest house to the bus route. Heather is a very lovely lady, professional and courteous!!! She made the visit here even more welcoming! I would recommend this place to anyone, and as a matter of fact, I have made mention along with photos of the property on my Facebook posting! This home is IMMACULATELY CLEAN! Not one bug in sight, which is a major bonus to me!! Thank you so much Heather for your courteousness and professionalism, and we hope to see you again! All the best!
Cons: As mentioned, the only thing I did not like about the property, was the walking distance from the home to the main road to access the bus route. Although it is about 7-10 minutes walk, it can be discouraging having to walk back up a bit of a hill if you have groceries to carry! Other than that, I would have given a rating of 10, but I would definitely suggest renting a vehicle if possible, and would do so my next time visiting!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Heather was exceptional and very helpful. We were welcomed with a little something, some bread, butter, cookies and a bottle of water for everyone. This was very welcome after a long haul. The walking distance from the guest house to the main bus route was just right. Good to walk and you don't hear anything from the main street. The deposit was refunded without any delay.
Cons: a large number of air fresheners and their strong smell of lavender / rose / etc. sachets and plug-in fresheners. It helped a little that we collected all items from drawers and furniture to banish them outside. Anyway, after a few days, our son got an itchy rash that he had never had before. After moving to Long Bay, the rash quickly improved. Even the self-filled water from the tap has taken on the smell. Unfortunately, this wonderful house is therefore not suitable for allergy sufferers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, beautiful and quiet. The hostess is kind and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property.
Cons: There is nothing I can say that is negative about this property. This was my third stay at this location. The only negative thing I can say is that is it becoming so popular that I had to change my travel plans in order to get into the location as it is booking so quickly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole entire experience the apartment was a home away from home. Excellent value for money.
Yellow Bird Hotel - St Lawrence Gap - Building

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The studio rooms are well appointed with lovely Caribbean colours. Large comfortable double bed.The breakfasts were delicious. In a great position on the edge of The Gap for great restaurants and bars and many beaches and Bridgetown close by. Had an amazing day touring around the island driven by Tony in his air conditioned taxi. ( details from hotel reception)A lovely gentleman who took us where we wanted and gave us lots of interesting facts. Took us to a perfect spot for lunch on the East coast overlooking the Atlantic. An excellent, smooth safe driver. Thoroughly recommended.
Cons: It would have been great if breakfast was part of the price.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff members, always happy to help plan activities
4.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel has a nice outlook overlooking a little cove from which fisherman ply their craft. The rooms are large and airy and have everything one could reasonably expect. The staff do their best and help as far as they can.
Cons: Yellow Bird is fine for anyone who is stone deaf. Anyone who isn't will find sleep almost impossible before 3 a.m. when the nearby night club stops belting out music at ear splitting volume. Don't think you can make up the sleep in the day. The next door restaurant keeps up a non stop stream of music all day except Mondays when they use high pressure hoses to wash down their floors for hours in the afternoon. The hotel backs on to the main coast road so you hear the hooting of taxis touting for business all day long. We may have been unlucky but we were without water for a whole day (even to the point where one couldn't make a cup of tea) and the wifi worked so intermittently that effective communication was impossible. The hotel offered us free breakfasts as compensation but they weren't worth eating. I would have been happy to put up with all this had the accommodation not been at the really high end of the price bracket. There are no hotel facilities as such, no common areas, and no lifts.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked that it was walking distance to a lot of restaurants. It was spacious and I loved the bathroom. (I literally wanted to take it home). I also liked that the lamps had outlets in them which made it easy to charge my devices
Cons: There wasn't much option of cable stations.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Small & friendly. Very good standard. Great location for those wanting to go out and about.
Cons: Small beach opposite but not a bathing beach. Had to walk to either Dover or Worthing beach.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Spot, We stayed in Unit 601 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bath with kitchen and rooftop patio overlooking the ocean. Will visit again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it! It was my birthday - we were upgraded to better room with the bottle of champagne and received present from resort management! Thank you for making it special. Extremely clean, very helpful staff and the great beach. Great location - 20 min want to fish market and a supermarket. The hotel also helped us to rent the car - they deliver car to the hotel and we just drop the car key at the front desk. We did not book all inclusive, had everything we need in the room.
Cons: nothing
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: It was so noisy that one couldn't sleep.
7.0 Good
Pros: The restaurant by the beach and the beach facilities
Cons: The live music in the evenings was just too loud, very intrusive even with balcony windows closed it was too much. Not many seemed to be enjoying it yet it. Also strange variance in the staff, some lovely and friendly but one notable exception was the barman who was very aggressive and confrontational.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly family run hotel. Well located between St Lawrence Gap & Oistins (both walkable)
Cons: View from ground floor room was a little restricted
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beach was amazing, we haven’t seen a significantly better one on the island. Free equipment like boogie boards, sun umbrellas, sunbeds etc. was very convenient. The room was clean and contemporary. The balcony had a pretty pool view (and even a bit of sea) and it was shady in the morning, so it was nice to have breakfast there. The restaurant was not too pricey, but don’t expect extraordinary food. The concierge was helpful in booking tours around the island. The hotel is right on the beach, which is amazing. Bridgetown is 30 min away by public transportation, which runs regularly even on Christmas Day.
Cons: The main inconvenience we have encountered is the music played in the evenings by the pool. It was very loud, one could still hear it with the balcony doors closed and earplugs in. I appreciate the entertainment provided at the hotel, but one must have a choice whether to join the party or not. Even though it ended at 10 p.m., being jet lagged after a transatlantic flight I’d like my peace and quiet in the evenings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, in between Oistins and St Lawrence Gap. This hotel has the best staff and a very happy happy hour
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beachfront, nicely laid out, comfy, clean.
Cons: It does not protect the guests from taxi overcharging - the only country I've been to (and I've been to many) where taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is cheaper than from the hotel to the airport!! Taxi overall is expensive, and there are no cheaper alternatives for families. Ocean waves were all the time too choppy to swim. Hotel could use renovation.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: very nice hotel. great location. nice size rooms, lovely terrace. would definitely stay again.
Cons: wish my room was ready sooner. i called ahead but room was still not ready when i got there not a deal breaker but literally had to wait to 15 minutes before check in. they provided refreshing drinks while we waited. face towels were given some days some days not, that was weird.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and efficient. Superb location. Excellent food.
Cons: No lift
8.8 Excellent
Cons: There are no elevators so those on higher floors had some exercise before reaching up. This would be difficult for elderly and physically challenged people

Pros: New hotel- friendly staff- good restaurant
Cons: No beach - its in front of an extremely loue karaoke so basically before 1 am its impossible to sleep !!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed our stay. First time Barbados. View from our balcony, Sea side was awesome.
Cons: Really enjoyed our stay. First time Barbados.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff
Cons: Pool area a little tired around the edges. Close to nightlife if that would be an issue for you.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly place. Fresh and modern. Lovely to be so close to the sea. The breakfast was really good. There is an excellent swimming beach only a couple of minutes walk away, and lots of interesting restaurants in the area.
Cons: There is no lift, so people with mobility issues might struggle. Further, the banisters on the stairs was not well designed and definitely needs a clean and a repaint. There was no desk or table in the room, which makes it not so suitable for business. Some nights the surrounding bars was very loud and went very late.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel in St Laurence Gap, so close to restaurants and bars. Amazing staff at the hotel.
Cons: Impossible to sleep at all... every night it was so noisy, from karaoke bar an clubs on the street...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern, great staff. And felt very safe
Cons: Wish they had a lift
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Open the window, u can see the pure sea, nice hotel!
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Little Arches Boutique Hotel Barbados - Adults only in Oistins, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Miami Beach and a 4-minute drive from Silver Sands Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was fabulous very close to Miami Beach a lovely swimming spot, a short walk from Oistins fish fry & a short car journey to some great restaurants/bars at St Lawrence Gap. The staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is a little boutique hotel, which is perfect if you don't want to stay in a massive hotel or resort. It's a short walk to one of the best beaches on the island, you will often see fish and maybe turtles if you're lucky. Plenty of options to eat at night are just a short walk away, and the main city / more restaurants are only a short drive away (15-30 mins). The restaurant of the hotel is very good too.
Cons: The only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is quite close to the airport, which is very convenient but it also means that airplanes will often fly over your head. You can't hear them from within the room but you will notice them while on the beach or by the pool. It wasn't a problem for us but someone might care about it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely relaxing few days - from the time we arrived we instantly felt relaxed. The room was clean and very comfy - we enjoyed having our own private spa. The nearby beach was wonderful and we enjoyed swimming here. The entire staff were wonderful and accommodating - thank you!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Engaging and engaged staff, friendly and highly competent.
Cons: Not the fault of Little Arches, but being off the busy road would be a plus.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast Free cheese/wine platter. Spacious room.
Cons: When checking out, nobody offered to help us with our bags, take them to the car or the courtesy room. Gluten free options and lactose free options were limited - There was no lactose free milk option at breakfast. Turn down service in the evening was too early - between 6-7pm, which was often when we were in the room getting ready to go out, which meant often we just didn’t have it. This should be later. One night we tried to order room service and were informed we couldn’t because they were not serving the normal menu. There was a BBQ on that evening which we chose not to attend but then had no option for dinner because of this lack of room service. No diet / Coke Zero on offer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff was awesome
Cons: The air conditioner was not easy to control. I ended up getting sick we I went back home. Would have like to option of opening a window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just wonderful in every way . Fine dining restaurant on rooftop. Felt like being at home ! (But lots better)
Sea Breeze Beach Hotel - Oistins - Bedroom
6
8.9 Excellent (330 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Oistins, this beachfront property is in the entertainment district and within 3 mi (5 km) of Dover Beach and Rockley Beach. Silver Sands Beach and Brownes Beach are also within 6 mi (10 km).
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The room is ok.
Cons: Completely poor service. Nobody cares about any of your requests. The transfer was supposed to be organized by hotel but nobody came - and no excuses at all. Main restaurant is awful. Sea view room in fact was a pool and roof view, and very little of the sea. Had to ask for making-up the room for three times. Lots of disappointment. We left this hotel 2 nights earlier, and spoke to a manager asking for refund - no reaction. We even didn't receive a final statement. The location is not really great - lots of waves and windy.
7.1 Good
Pros: I really enjoyed the size of the rooms and the fact that you can have 2 rooms communicating together. We were a family of 7 and it was perfect. The rooms and facilities were always clean and well maintained. There were some great events at the small bar of the hotel with great people teaching us about Barbados. Shawn from guest services was extremely great at booking us the right excursions. The location of the hotel and proximity of the beach was fantastic. We were very happy about the 'smaller' type of hotel/resort, with 3 pools and direct access to the beach. Finally we met some great people from multiple different countries and made some new friends.
Cons: It felt as though not all of the staff at the hotel is happy to be working in the service industry. When you choose a hotel you are looking for the best experience that will make you want to go back but not all of the staff felt as though this was their mission or values. From a cuisine perspective, both a la carte restaurant need better quality and better variety. Breakfast were great but dinner options were limited and not tasty. We ended eating out on multiple nights which makes a trip more expensive when you pay for all inclusive. There are some quite good restaurants on the island so hotels need to follow as well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The adults area was lovely and relaxing. The rest of the staff were all really friendly and I liked the organised run. Rooms are beautiful, the beach is stunning and all in all a really well run, nicely renovated place to relax for a week. I really enjoyed my stay.
Cons: Most of the staff were lovely, just one woman was the talk of the pool with how rude she could be to people.... I dont think she should be front of house, and the restaurants being full when you want to book in can be a little annoying. Also live music till 11pm I thought was a little too late, if it finished a bit earlier it might help those in rooms around it have an earlier night if they want too.
5.4 Okay
Cons: Food
7.9 Good
Pros: The beach was amazing!
Cons: The restaurants and the food served was not very good. It was quite annoying having to book a table every night and not being able to eat whenever we wanted to.
7.0 Good
Pros: Dinner at restaurants was excellent
Cons: Breakfast.as a non pork eater limited choices...gym to small
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so friendly Bed was ultra comfortable Beach and pool beds comfortable Great lap pool Food very good Easy to book al a carte restaurants

Pros: One of the best beaches on earth.
Cons: Customer service is spotty. Some staff great, some awful
7.0 Good
Pros: I loved the view of the ocean from my room. There were some maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. The manager, he was very accommodating and allowed us to switch rooms. Overall, I thought it was an average hotel. Really need some updates.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, impeccable service and on-site restaurants and grocery
Cons: No
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Love The Crane! Our third year in a row that we have visited The Crane. Love the staff, the facility and the location. The beach is lovely and the waves are beautiful.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Hotel charged my credit card 50% more than the agreed rate (after taking into account my spend during stay) and have since ignored my attempts to contact for a refund.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location and beach.
Cons: Room facilities too old and outdated, especially the garden furniture. Shower also very old and difficult to use. Construction works during day ruined rest at room. Food at restaurants also very poor. Certainly not worth the money charged.
4.6 Okay
Pros: If you need to get to the airport quick, then a very good location. Everything else is a bit of a distance.
Cons: For a 5 star hotel, this hotel was poor all round. They charge for a bottle of water, no minibar in the room, no additional charger converted plugs available, the beach looked nothing like the photos, there was a bad smell and tons of sea weed everywhere, breakfast was average and they were charging for a one hour late checkout, without even trying to accommodate or be helpful. Poor experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall amazing experience. Staff were excellent. Food was great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well kept property. It was sprawling with many swimming pools, several restaurants, as well as a 'Village' with shops and a convenience store. The staff were courteous and helpful, the wait staff perhaps more so than the front desk. (Hats off to Peter Felix!)
Cons: The beach has choppy waters. It's fun for some activities but not if you want to swim. During our stay, it was full of seaweeds. The staff cleared them in the morning but the seaweed returned by mid-morning. The hotel has ongoing construction. Some rooms will be affected by the noise. The kitchenette was equipped minimally. Just two of knives forks and spoons, a couple of pots/pans; but no spatulas!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcoming staff
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The beach is world class, private, quiet, just perfect for a relaxing family vacation
Cons: Breakfast could be better, service is slow; there is a kids club on site but it does not have a lot of activities and looks very small, so we did not use it

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beach
Cons: Elevator on my building.
1.0 Poor
Pros: very nice helpful staff
Cons: The huge number of pidgeons in the eating areas. Most unhygenic. During the daytime it was like a Hitchcock film. I will never return.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach accomodations
9.0 Excellent
Pros: beautiful beach and good to swim, water sports option, all inclusive, great food and drinks, great entertainment, clean and fresh
Cons: SoMe times bit long wait time for a waiter
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a wonderful stay superb birthday. I could not speak highly enough about the staff. The customer service is consistent from the guys at the beach Romian to bar man Marion .The lovely professional waitress big warm hearts and big smiles Kay,Sonja, Lovely Mya, Beverley, Tanisha,Lasonta,Shenika. I will definitely come back and reccomend this resort . I see why other guests l have met keeps coming back.
Cons: There was nothing not to like about the resort.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room appeared to be recently remodeled. We had the last room oceanfront top floor (3rd) room, furthest from the bar and restaurant. I don't think that we could have a better room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. All of the staff was terrific and friendly, but there were a few standouts (Shamia - Can do wonders with the limited options beyond Rum, Cheryl Ann- Ready to make your dining experience effortless and Darian on the beach at the right time with just the right drink!)
Cons: I would have appreciated knowing that the parliament building and its museum were closed on Tuesday. The shuttle to Bridgetown was offered by the hotel on Tuesday and Thursday, but no indication that the only thing to do in town would be Duty-Free (which is no financial value to anyone in the US). A waste of 4 hours.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loverly hotel in an excellent location!
7.0 Good
Pros: Going to Seabreeze for the day excursion. Comp breakfast was good.
Cons: The staff was generally friendly, however the night clerk who was working on my checkout Jan 18th, 2020, was incompetent in adding up my bill correctly and called me at midnight in my room to discuss it which I thought was inappropriate. He had to compute my bill twice and I have two print outside, he added tourism fund charges that I had not agreed to. The property was a bit noisy due to construction going on next door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel right on the beach with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Great breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: No complaints - the hotel was very pleasant.
Cons: Checking in was very inefficient and could have been much quicker. We were kept waiting for no apparent reason, but other than that everything with our stay was fine.

Pros: Very nice, small property located on a quiet stretch of beach that few people seemed to know about. The water and sand were just wonderful in this short stretch.
Cons: Note that there is a chain-linked fence and vegetation between the property and the sea. The view of the ocean was obstructed unless you are on higher floors.

Pros: The view was wonderful right on the beach. And the attentive staff and privacy

Pros: The workers were always helpful to accommodate, and gave honest recommendations. The reception provided exchange to local currency at acceptable rates, and no upfront cost.
Cons: There is a government tax (like 5USD per night per person) that isn't included in the price. I'd prefer that the full cost comes upfront.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room was very generous ; the beds very comfortable ; the size of the hotel was just right - not too large like some major hotel chains . The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was great with good access to the beach and not too far to walk to restaurants and bars.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach quite private, clean accessable, we felt secure. The kitchenette was clean and well equiped. The TV channels were somewhat limited.
Cons: Lack of laundry facilities. We had a ground floor patio suite. It would have been better if we could have locked the patio door from the outside.

7.0 Good
Pros: Close (10 min) to great beach and food options plus super market. Clean room and crisp sheets/towels every day. Small kitchen with fridge, which was a great thing. Balcony.
Cons: We were booked at the ground level, which was not as nice as if being booked higher up. You are basically at the parking lot with your balcony and no possibility for not having curtains drawn. Our booking was last minute and we even changed the dates for an earlier departure which was handled well by the staff, but unfortunately no option of going to higher floors, which was the only real drawback of the stay
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff very helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, and when not at the property after hours, they were contactable by phone. The property felt very safe, especially the top rooms which had a security gate. Right near lovely beaches.
Cons: No safe in the room. Valuables were kept at reception, so if money or cards were needed for the evening, you had to plan to get them out before 5pm, or take them out all day if on a tour. The nearby nightlife was non-existent.

Pros: I loved it all. The staff were attentive and more than helpful. The location was perfect in relation to the airport, places to shop and dine. A short distance from the beach and access to public transport. I would highly recommend this location for the hospitality, the golf course and the serenity. I will be revisiting in the Summer of 2020.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and relaxed . Comfy bed and sofa. Staff were lovely. 15 mins walk to the beach or you could use the shuttle. Nice pool to relax in if you wanted to stay put.
Cons: Kitchen a little dated.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The apartment has a nice layout, the same as all of the other apartments in this cluster and all the other clusters. The pool area is nice, though there are not many sunbeds and they could do with replacing as they get saturated with water when it rains. The dining area has a light/fan that would be much more effective in the bedroom. That's about about the only positive things I can say I'm afraid, other than that the housekeepers do a good job and are friendly. We were allowed to check in early and check out late, which was very much appreciated.
Cons: We had to find additional accommodation for 3 nights due to the loss of our Thomas Cook flights and being unable to get the same dates. The apartment we left in a nearby cluster was really great and this one at the nearby Plum Tree Club does not compare favourably, even though the layout is identical - in fact, this is one of the worst apartments I have ever stayed in. We were not given the one shown in the picture (the apartment was 723, even though our documentation says 18). The lock on the door is broken and does not work properly - every time we tried to lock/unlock the door it was almost impossible and took ages before the key suddenly went in. This was reported but nothing was done, even though it just needs a new lock. The apartment is so poorly equipped and in need of a refurb, and the balcony gets absolutely no sun whatsoever at any time of the day. The kettle is an oven-top one that takes forever to boil (and could be a safety hazard if it is left on and forgotten) and there is just 4 of everything in terms of cutlery/crockery, except for teaspoons and there were just 2 of them. The bed is comfortable, but there is just a sheet and a thin throw - we were really cold during the night. The air conditioning only works in the bedroom when the door is closed. It wouldn't really take too much in terms of cost/time/effort to enhance this apartment (though the sun on the balcony obviously can't be changed). Thank goodness we were only here for 3 nights, I could not have stayed any longer than that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: CleAn friendly staff nice pool
Cons: Nowhere to get food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We usually spend our Christmas and New Year holidays in Barbados. Plum Tree Club is our favorite place to stay. Great location and properties. Checking in and checking out is quick and easy. Two ladies in the Office are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Whatever you need, just ask. I want to mention that all the stuff (security guard, gardener, cleaning service...) work hard to keep this place beautiful, clean and safe. The units are well planned, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. Internet is great. We were happy with only the bedroom being airconditioned. Just open the door to the patio and you feel a refreshing breeze in the living room and the kitchen. We look forward to coming back!

Cons: Restaurant at golf club was closed and we arrived in the evening and had to go looking for supermarket etc
Southern Palms Beach Club - St Lawrence Gap - Pool

8.5 Excellent (237 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Southern Palms Beach Club in St. Lawrence Gap, you'll be on the beach, steps from Dover Beach and a 4-minute drive from Worthing Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this resort consist of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Southern Palms has the best beach front in all of the St. Lawrence Gap. It is a go to if this is important to you. New Years Eve dinner was fantastic as well but very expensive $370 American dollars. However eating anywhere there in the holiday is expensive. As for their regular food If you don't like food to spicy or authentic they keep the spices to a minimum as many children and older people stay at this resort who may dislike that. The majority of their clients are from the UK. If you do like spicy then there is plenty of cheap authentic food right outside the hotel such as street carts and the food huts are two blocks away on the public beach.
Cons: I didn't ask them to change bed but it was really to hard. I probably should have asked, but I loved my view and didn't want to risk losing my room since it had an ocean view. I also knew the resort was at capacity as I got the last room available at the hotel when I booked. My bed was hard as a rock. It was so hard in fact that I have a habit of sleeping on my left side and my shoulder still hurts 2 days out. I couldn't even turn the steering wheel in my car when driving without pain. I tried to sleep on my back, but I turn in my sleep. I was exhausted the whole trip. My husband who likes a hard bed said even this was too hard. Its Probably my own fault for not asking for them to fix this but the resort really needs to get some better beds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Room, the view the location
Cons: It was my Honeymoon , and I wish it was more special
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was good Nice to get a cup of tea and a cake in the late afternoon great.
Cons: Bedroom was a little dated and tired. The bathroom could do with an upgrade. Standing in a bath to take a shower. Chairs in the bar area could have benefited from having cushions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay here at southern palms. The staff was GREAT, people were VERY friendly & they constantly made sure we were comfortable & made sure All my needs were met promptly. I would definitely recommend this hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Together location and resort are really spot on due the typical Caribbean sand beach (clean, very safe and looked after, with palm trees and never unbearably hot) just in front of all you need for a comfortable holiday (rooms, bar, restaurant, showers, swimming pools). What I really loved was the friendly environment of staff, guests and the free events arranged for guests (coffee at 4pm or rum drinks pre-dinner). Also the wild life was a plus (turtles in the closest sea, monkeys in the vegetation/trees in the surrounding), and very friendly domestic pets, like cats and chicken with chicks freely around the resort) were a great attraction for our toddler. Our requests on room and requirements for our toddler were perfectly satisfied, so we got a baby cot and easy access to everything with and without baggie. Another unexpected positive factor was the weather, which was consistently and pleasantly warm between 27 and 30 degrees everyday and all day whether with sun, clouds, wind or rain. This was absolutely amazing, but not sure if this was just luck at the end of the year or at any season.
Cons: I was a bit puzzled just on the serving style of restaurant & bar (maybe closer to US style that I always felt very different from the European one). Hence we needed couple of days to work out how everything was working and what our best dining options were. Although very friendly, staff may have helped slightly more as they may look to have to follow prescriptively menus and arrangements. However menus were not always clear and some options did not seem to be very satisfactory (continental breakfast particularly). So we had the impression we were encouraged to take everything we like but very prescriptively as long as matching any choice of the menu, maybe unaware of details or cost. They were particularly good on bringing bills very promptly, which again seemed similar to the US culture.....maybe for ultimate tip purposes? However the service was sometime very slow, particularly when trying to make a quick lunch with a baby who can be very impatient to sit and/or can have impending sleeping needs. This can be understandable at our Christmas festivity time there, but the number of staff didn't seem to be insufficient for the number of customers anyway.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent ,the beach is fantastic and the area in General.Plenty of sunbeds to go around and water available all day plus tea, coffee and cakes at 4pm which are nice gestures.
Cons: Service at the bar especially at happy hour was slow where only one lady was running her feet off ,she needed help .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lovely staff
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, handy for airport and Cruise Port. Very friendly staff. Bar meal selection excellent (staff very attentive about partner's coeliac disease).
Cons: Hotel was expensive. We book-ended a cruise with stays in the hotel and could have gone on another week's cruise for the cost of the stay in the Hilton.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The entire facility was nice and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: No
4.0 Okay
Cons: construction..would not have stayed if i had been informed..lots of noise at 8am....also fridge did not work...all in all a bad experience
9.1 Excellent
Pros: On water, private beach, full amenities, very comfortable.
Cons: Food prices were too high and they charge a service fee of 10% to every bill which is not the tip.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location, generally very good, friendly service. Expensive I am afraid, particularly the pool bar and restaurant- but overall, pretty good for a few nights stay
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Fabulous pools and beaches.
Cons: Relatively small issues. First, there is a seaweed problem during the summer in Barbados. Rather than simply rake it every morning (or night), the Hilton chooses to ignore it. As a result, no one (or almost no one) used the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Snorkeling at a nearby beach was great! We saw many fish of various sizes and many sea turtles. 5 minute walk from hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: Beach
Cons: Food was ordinary
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are lovely spacious and clean, enough room for the 4 of us. Kids felt safe around the property. Lovely breeze on the beach and we really enjoyed the happy hour! Bob is amazing he’s the lifeguard there and he took my son surf boarding which he loved.
Cons: Nothing all good
7.1 Good
Pros: Really lovely location and overall friendly experience.
Cons: The price of the food did not reflect its quality remotely - quite difficult to access other food on foot from hotel.
Butterfly Beach Hotel - Christchurch - Building

Overview Reviews
Located in Oistins, Butterfly Beach Hotel is by the sea, a 4-minute drive from Miami Beach and 8 minutes from Rockley Beach. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved it’s location right on the beach, that it had a good restaurant and bar, entertainment every night, multiple hot tubs, a well appointed gift shop, a concierge to help plan excursions, nice grounds, security guards present, and very friendly staff.
Cons: One night we had hot water and the next day and night we did not and it was not really addressed when we reported it to the front desk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to airport. Close to beach. Large room with well thought out facilities.
Cons: Not enough moveable parasols so difficult to get shade. Very noisy because of proximity to airport.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the beach is optimal, the service staff is amazing and breakfast is lovely. The ocean view studio is very cute and comes with a stove, plates and cutlery if one is interested in cooking for oneself. This was a pleasant surprise.
Cons: The pool is not the biggest, and after having stayed at Accra Beach Hotel it was just basic but this is not a deal killer. The beach that the hotel occupies is not the the calmest but this is the south coast of the island and that's what you get. The walls are a bit thin and some adjoining rooms might have guests that are sticklers for quiet and your noisy child might drive them crazy :) Other than those minor things, they're really no downsides to this hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything on good level, but nothing special. Meals were good and well priced for Barbados. Beds very comfortable, clean hotel. Security is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Maybe the small minus compared to other hotels is that the beach is small, front of next house and you have to take the sunbed from hotel there and back. Still plenty of sunbeds in hotel sundecks, not a big thing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel room was great but better clarity needs to be addressed regarding confirming breakfast and what us actually paid for and what isn’t.
Cons: The female receptionist when we checked out was a little unwelcoming and looked bored. Shame as otherwise I felt this hotel was good value for money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lovely views of the sea and beaches. Great facilities. Very relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were able to upgrade to Half board or full board on arrival even though it was only possible to book breakfast on booking .com. This is good as dining out is very expensive in the area.Food choice and quality was ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly, helpful staff who gave nice little extra touches such as a complimentary bottle of bubbly for my birthday!
Cons: The booking process from booking.com left some of the balance unpaid; despite them sending a confirmation email detailing that everything had been paid, so it led to issues at check-in.
Rostrevor Hotel - Bridgetown - Building

8.4 Excellent (683 reviews)

Located on a small, secluded beach in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap, Rostrevor Hotel features a variety of self-catering rooms offering breathtaking ocean views. The ocean side swimming pool is catered with delicious fare from the Almond Tree Pool Bar and Harlequin Restaurant offers casual starlight dining.Other facilities include daily maid service, wi-fi, a gym, laundry facilities and accommodation for wheel chair users. Rostrevor Hotel is 15 minutes from both the airport and Bridgetown.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: I liked my oceanview room however cleanliness was an F in my books due to the mold I found the next day on my pillowcase
Cons: My room was not ready when I arrived at 4:00 . The brochure clearly states check in at 3:00. I also chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle. After contacting and emailing this hotel several times, we were not able to book the shuttle. There was no response from the hotel, and or return email after leaving several messages.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast and the staff
Cons: The noise at night
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, stunning views from the room, lovely private beach.
Cons: Perhaps a touch over priced for the quality of fixtures/fittings. Didn’t like that many residents reserved loungers but didn’t show up to use them before lunchtime. Could have provided a few welcome items in the kitchenette.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Beach Access
Cons: two separate beds made to be one. Felt the space inbetween
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely sea views, little beach (for bathing, not suntanning as to small), clean pool. Wide single beds, good sized room. Helpful and friendly staff. Beach towels provided, and fresh ones whenever you need them. Although on the main strip, we didn't find it loud enough to keep us awake.
Cons: The floor wasn't cleaned/swept daily which I found a bit odd. Would be good to have a washing up brush (and not just a cloth). Missing vegetable peeler - so bought one.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location Sea views from balcony
7.5 Good
Cons: The noise level from the night clubs. The breakfast menu was very basic for the price.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location , view and staff were good, must admit the dinner at the recommended harlequin restaurant as they dont have dinner facilities at the rostrevor very disappointing, Not sure how the prices are justified, poor value, we tried , bajan hot pot, sooo soooo bad!, and also thai curry, please do not make the same mistake we did.
Cons: The breakfast was repetitive, very little variety, also bed and breakfast deal only gave you up to 52 dollars to spend at breakfast and a full English breakfast cost 32 dollars each so you would have to spend an additional 84dollars minimum if a couple had a full English everyday for a week. Not great value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, the service was excellent and there were many breakfast choices. The reception staff were also very helpful in providing general information and assistance with respect to Barbados in general.
Cons: Nil

Pros: This was a relaxing quiet locations.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothng
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and hotel were quite clean. The room was very comfortable and the a/c was perfectly set. The front desk staff were helpful. The hotel is within comfortable walking distance to popular restaurants and hangout spots such as Blakeys.
Cons: There is no formal bar or restaurant at this hotel, just a mini bar of sorts and a space to sit and have breakfast and light meals. There is a beach across the street but no lounge chairs and umbrellas, so we took about a 12min. walk to Pebbles Beach which is very nice. I believe the hotel does have a shuttle on a Sunday to Carlyle Bay but this should be done daily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. The amenities were exceptional.
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The ease and convenience to order a taxi. The food is good. The courteous staff and security workers.
Cons: The long wait time for food orders from the Centro Restaurant within the hotel. If breakfast is included in your stay, the process for signing for your breakfast is not explained until the bill arrives at your table while you are eating. No signs are posted in the Centro Restaurant to let hotel guests know the buffet food stations during the afternoon are for people having meetings or other functions at the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s location. Pleasant staff.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is located very near to a nice restaurant - BUZO
Cons: The price paid for the room was high due to seasonal pricing. The rooms were not what we booked - we did not get the KING w/ balcony. The sheets and towels were worn and thin. We simply felt the standard was below what one would expect for the price but you were somewhat held to ransom due to it being New Years Day. The hotel should be awesome throughout the year and it wasnt.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and courteous. Place is located perfect
Cons: I believe the staff can share more information to help us save. Had I known I could have paid half the price for the room to check out late I would not have book for 1 more night. Not nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything at Courtyard by Marriott Bridgetown, Barbados
Cons: It had nothing I didn't like
