No one available when I came to pick up my car. No notice that they closed at noon on Saturday. No attempt to contact me to find out if I was on my way. No customer service at all. I had even called ahead to check with them about the situation. I like Hertz and have used them many times successfully before, but this location in Columbia, MO, was pitiful. Would never attempt to rent from them again. Cost me almost $100 in extra cab fare and wasted my time. I recommend using another company that might care about their customers.Reviewed 17 Oct 2022

Not a very good representative of HertzPros:Was a great car and excellent mileage for the trip.Cons:No one went over the car or explained anything. Went to pick up the car was running late and called ahead to see if they would stay over about 10 min so we could pick it up. Response was that the agent had plans and next time don't be late to pick up. Did not offer refund for that day and had to make two trips to the location ro pick up the car....bad business practice and if i can will not rent from that location again.Reviewed 9 Oct 2017

Cons:When I got there the place I was to rent from was closed even though it was the time of my pickup it closed at the time of my pickup and when I try to get another rental car at the airport they said they had no rental carsReviewed 5 Sept 2017

Cousin Vinnys Chop ShopPros:First off, the office was filthy. Carpets stained, yellow walls, and it was very unproffessional looking. They were inside of a very nice Holiday Inn, so it really created an atmosphere of them setting up shop in a broom closet. Everything in there could have been moved out within an hour and it gave it an overall shady vibe. The car itself was banged up a bit, but gas mileage was amazing and I may actually buy that model now.Cons:Office was terribly shady looking. We had to put down a $200 deposit, deapite paying a month ahead and having full coverage, so what had seemed like a deal was just hidden fees. The car was dinged up.Reviewed 28 Aug 2017
