Hounslow bed & breakfasts

Pros: The staff was very accommodating and offered to discount a second night. Breakfast was to order and was freshly cooked rather than continental. Access to the Tube, Heathrow and London was only 300 ft away, the deciding factor in our original single night stay.

Cons: The rooms were small, two of our three with two single beds. At least one had a heavy perfume odor associated with cheap motels. My sister felt uncomfortable sleeping alone and shared a room with our brother. Door locks were residential type with no chain for backup.

Pros: The staffs are extremely nice, helpful and friendly. It is very next only 2 mins to the tube station and is only 15 mins walk to the National rail.

Cons: A bit outdated

Pros: I have often stayed here alone or with work colleagues. it is reliably comfortable and we always enjoy the breakfast. Staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Cons: I prefer filter coffee.

Pros: Was cleaned and comfortable, nice bathroom, fridge in the room, the ospitlity from reception

Cons: Door double locked from the inside in the room as the cleaner opens up the door in the morning

Pros: I didn’t expect much at this price but I was pleasantly surprised. I parked at the rear through a private gate, room was clean, tidy and comfortable with tea/coffee maker and private bathroom. Breakfast was very basic but adequate - cereals, toast, cheap croissants and beans egg and bacon if you want. Near the station and bars restaurants within a few mins walk.

Cons: Cooked Breakfast was not too good.

Pros: Outstanding service by the staff - very clean and convenient

Cons: Proximities of location to public transport - train station and secure free car park

Pros: Very close to the underground station Hounslow Central, less then 15 min to T5 LHR. Also, about 30 min by tube to the central London. The surroundings looks to be safe, a lot of small convenience stores around. We stayed in 3 beds room - very clean, and accommodating; we had a small fridge and a kettle plus coffee and teas bags. The breakfast was absolutely ok considering this is a guest house, not a hotel. The staff was nice and very responsive to our small requests.

Cons: Nothing in particular. Maybe, due to the closeness to the airport, sometimes is noisy but is completely bearable, whatsoever.

Pros: Right by train station and the young man who let us in after midnight was very nice and helpful.

Cons: Up two flights of steep stairs. Bathroom was very run down with a lot of mold in the shower grout. The Bathroom floor squeaked and cracked very loudly. It felt like you might fall through.

Pros: Pretty much nothing to like

Cons: This is a shocking place to stay. It’s dirty, the furniture was falling apart, the stench in the room was bad, toilet door was not locking, mattress was so bad it felt like your sleeping on top of springs, the kettle was so sorry & there was a dead bug inside it. The worst place to stay by far. I don’t believe this is an accommodation for human habitation - more like for animals. It shouldn’t be on bookings. I only wish I could get my £66 back.

Pros: The area was nice & people seemed friendly. The chap who greeted us at the guest house was very friendly & helpful. He waited up late until we arrived & made us feel welcome. Free Wi-Fi was good. Walking distance to the town & markets.

Cons: Sadly, the place was quite rundown & didn't look very hygienic. Trying to sleep & other guests are shouting & arguing upstairs around 1am. The bed was uncomfortable& quite hard. Went downstairs for breakfast the next morning, couldn't get our door to lock behind us. Had a look around the dining area but couldn't find anyone to greet or seat us so we gave up. Packed our things and left around 8:30am

Pros: Where does one start with this unique experience in the world of B&B. On the plus side… It has parking. It’s close to Hounslow central Tube station. People on the whole were nice.. can’t say helpful because the one who promised to sort the television, arrange a change of room for the second night and generally improve the experience, in reality didn’t achieve a single thing. That’s that bit out of the way.

Cons: I booked a twin room with shared bathroom for two nights. Room had a shower and sink, toilet shared and was next door in a cupboard. I thought it was a life experience hotel of what life would be like in an Afghan refugee detention center. Room was half painted Brown and white, some areas hadn’t been done where larger furniture items had previously been. White areas were a sort of cream ‘ish, large bubbles, torn peeling wallpaper and dark heavy stains around the corners of the room. It looked like large areas of damp. One main room light, no bedside lights, curtain hanging from the rail by the one clip that hadn’t been broken, black marks on the window sealant. The kettle worked, two small cups with mismatching saucers/plate, a small selection of tea, coffee, UT cream. A 12” Television was stuck to the wall on which you could only watch, the Adult channels, god or shopping… so the nights entertainment consisted of Watching naked women, then switching over to repent or order some sex toys. I did wonder what the family room’s had to offer. Beds looked like they had been there for at least 30 years, sheets barely covered the mattress, duvet was thinner than a slice of bread and the single pillow on each had no filling it them at all. Bedding felt damp.. and the room felt damp as a whole. Carpet was Velcro… or at least that’s why I thought my feet kept sticking to it. Shower… can only be described as the outside brought in . Because plants were growing in the numerous cracks and crevices. Curtain rail was broken so the end was supported by wire strapped to the electric extraction above the door. You stepped down into the shower tray (ceramic) which was surrounded by brown floor tiles. This had all sorts of stains and marks around the edges. It was obvious this doubled up as a urinal… maybe for both sexes, where the aim had not been as good after a few on a night out. The sink was adequate with a large mirror.

Pros: The maid was really friendly and help fully

Cons: The owner or manger when in to my room and removed my luggage without my say, after I had book a check out extension till 7pm, then phone me to tell me my luggage is in reception your checkout was 11am, and start to have a go at me down the phone when I said I ask for extension till 7pm and he said I don’t know anything about this, plus they then try to change me again, after I had paid in cash, saying I never turn up when did
