When we arrived we got in the lift with a member of staff who was bringing a box of freshly picked lemons to the restaurant. The smell was amazing. Staff were excellent so friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem even when we were late for dinner. Great gin and tonics with the fresh lemons of course!

The hotel restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is great. We had one evening meal there that was also memorable. Excellent service and great food.
Lagos is very quiet in early December. The area around Carvi Beach hotel is almost abandoned and derelict.
