Very comfortable for a 2night stay. Staff very helpful and breakfast very good. Liked the sitting room with coffee and tea available all day ( for you to make yourself). Disappointed that no TV in room. There was one in the sitting area which the staff helpfully tuned for the England-Switzerland match.
By far our best stay in Switzerland.....everything about the hotel is good.....The staff are very friendly and helpful....Special Thanks to Frank.....the only challenge is its a good 5 - 7 mins walk from the train station/.....which is a bit inconvenient when u have ur baggages......but this is extremely a negligible part.....
View from balcony, very helpful staff with local information, complimentary tea/coffee, close to restaurants, parking
The customer service at this hotel is super. Everyone from the receptionist, to the food service to the manager are very friendly and willing to help. They have great suggestions on things to do. The breakfast is plentiful and the location is great. The rooms are basic, but the space is more than adequate. We had two closets with plenty of space for clothes. The shower didn't look like much, but it gave plenty of hot water and lots of pressure. We really enjoyed Hotel Staubbach. I would absolutely recommend it.
Frank was extremely helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast and free WIFI very handing for planning activities. Balcony with view of waterfalls very pleasant in both the evening and with morning sun on the valley. Single beds pushed together to make a double and decor somewhat outdated.
The staff, location, and breakfast
Very comfort room with great view and balcony. Food was great and friendly receptionist lady. Just near by the station with 5 mins. by walk. Price reasonable as well. no elevator
Location was great. Close to train and gondola station. Great view of the mountains and Lauterbrunnen valley.
located close to 'top of europe' and piz gloria - check weather first, fantastic food, would defo go half board next time and defo stay there again, parking at hotel, close to rail station, staff are superb, family run, great experience. nothing bad to say
The hotel staff were very lovely and the restaurant served good food. The double room had two single beds put together and this was not ideal nor was it comfortable for honeymooners. The interior of the hotel also needs some work done. The carpet was old and smelly and the rooms looked like a backpackers rooms.
The hotel was in a great location. It is close to everything and there are beautiful views all around. The room was clean and comfortable at a good price and had a great view with a balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Plesant room, very friendly staff, beautiful town, wonderful meals Small bathroom, no ice
The view from the hotel was fantastic - esp on a clear night, when the moon shines down at the mountain. The room was comfortable and dining at the restaurant at the glass wall area was really quite amazing with the view. Staffs are friendly and helpful - will recommend this place for pure relaxing and hiking to nearby attractions
Very cosy place. Good hotel
Family run hotel in Alps. Convenient to train station and gondola. Hotel very friendly and willing to help. Restaurant excellent. No elevator but they are willing to help with luggage to upper floors.
Food For the first night we received a room (we named it "the gardener room") that didn't look like the ones on the pictures.Too little for a hotel room and with mould in the bathroom.
Friendly staff, clean and quiet place, good view of waterfall Far from railway station, have to walk for 15 minutes
Camping Jungfrau has various types of accommodation and good facilities(bar, supermarket on site, selling cable car tickets, renting a bike...). It was quite safe, quite enough for family trip, good mixture of young groups and families and easy walking distance from everything. We stayed in a mobile home for six people. Everything there was quite good but the stove was too week to cook and no hot water in bathroom so we had to take a shower in the shared bathroom (it was good....enough hot&high pressure water).
I have cooked in the kitchen. I couldn't cook anytime. Between 2pm-5pm I could not cook.
Great value accomodation in a stunning location
very very clean, nice staff, good location(littel bit far from station,,you'd better request to hotel for pick up if you don't have car), nice restraunt etc... nothing.
It is cosy bungalow, suits for family. It is opposite Staubbach Falls, the view is terrific. It is very easy to explore Jungfraujoch or Shilthorn. We have very happy time here. The room with bunks bed is quite small.
Nice scenery - near to a waterfall, clean hostel/cabins, clean shared toilets/shower, kitchen with all utensils that you can use, shop in the camp Arriving times - just certain times in the evening
The location of this camping provides it with outstanding views of the valley. The overall atmosphere is very cosy, and the staff is excelent.
Friendly staff, good accommodation and ecellent location fo the mountains. Good car parking too. The poor exchange rate agaist the £/Sf results in poor value for money rating. last time we visited the rate was 2.2 Sf to the £, this time it was 1.6!! It makes the holiday very expensive.
Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The location is away from the touristy part of town and elevated for beautiful, unobstructed views of the mountains. The staff is friendly and very helpful and speaks English well. The "on demand" shuttle to and from the train station works perfectly. The restaurant and breakfast serves tasty food. Our room was "upgraded", large with a useful balcony, modern bathroom, good wifi and well decorated, even with a blooming orchid. We would love to return some day.
Spectacular site and quiet Starting to look a little frayed ( was here in the mid 90s 0
Warm and friendly run family hotel, excellent menus.
We loved the friendly, welcoming staff who helped in any way they could. The room was the one we booked and the view of the Eiger was perfect. The food was excellent. Highly recommended. No, nothing we did not like.
Very friendly, homely and comfortable. A little bit far from the main part of town (10 minute walk).
superb location and view, comfortable lounges nice pool
only view, apart from this my room at top floor which is very hot, and hotel is comparatively very expensive, if we compare with any service or facility provdied by hotel 1. rooms were very hot so not comfortable 2. No room service. £. very expensive
we look forward to breakfast each morning which includes bacon, eggs, cereals, fruit, cheese, ham and various breads. The chalet room we had was very spacious and as always was clean, comfortable and with plenty of hot water.we like the fact that we are left alone to enjoy our holiday but always know that the staff are helpful if needed.
Quiet location, view of mountains, plentiful and delicious breakfast buffet, polite staff Outdated, unattractive furniture in room; shower was in bedroom rather than in bathroom; room had feather beds even though I had specifically requested no feather beds due to allergies; my daughters were put in a room in the hotel's neighboring chalet instead of in main hotel with me.
Great rooms and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. As with everything it's very expensive to stay in Switzerland
The Hotel Berghof was in a beautiful location at the edge of Wilderswil (a bus ride from Interlaken). Our room had a nice view down the valley looking towards the high peaks. The atmosphere of the hotel (both staff and guests) was friendly and warm, the breakfast was great. An idyllic hotel and location.
breakfast smoking inside the hotel and no free pick up service from station
the family room was of a good size, beds were comfortable, view was great, morning breakfast was complete. great value for money
Very helpful staff, good at advising on local trips
A nice hotel with helpful staff; beautiful setting. Excellent food and bright modern rooms.
Staff helpful and well informed, food good, view fabulous!
Good location and friendly staff. The restaurant meal was delicious.
Idyllic mountain side location, unexpectedly fabulous gourmet restaurant, great place for walks in the countryside or serious hikes in the mountains.
The location of the hotel is near the cable car from Stechelberg so it was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely be staying here again if I visit Murren. Murren, by the way, is a very picturesque town.
The location was great and the view from the room was beautiful. I hope to return in the spring or summer.
Clean comfortable rooms situated in great location with fantastic views of snow covered mountains. Great breakfast buffet. Great hotel. Having to leave
This hotel has a spectacular view. We paid extra for mountainview and it was well worth it! If you are considering going up to Piz Gloria on Schilthorn do it is worth the cost of the ticket up to the top. You can take a pass from the hotel for breakfast at the top, do it! The food was great and the experience wonderful. If you aren't familiar with 007's first movie "Her Majesty's Secret Service" which was filmed mostly at Piz Gloria and Schilthorn, the hotel runs the movie around 9pm.
The staff are very helpful The exchange rate in the hotel euro:franc is not good, better pay by card!
extremely friendly staff, flexible breakfast voucher at schilthorn, discount card for travel, restaurant food quality/service and views
Facing the mountain . Good scenes and huge balcony Rooms are very small
They took care of our family a lot. View from room was so nice!
Most amazing breakfast and a super location Nothing
nice welcoming, the best location in town when it comes to the First Bahn station Sauna was not included in the price of the hotelroom
Beat Leuenberger was a real star...all staff very helpful. It was not very good to look at from the outside...more like a car park than a hotel!
For skiers the situation is perfect and it has all necessary facilities. Of particular importance is the spa and swimming pool and also the evening events for older people. All of these are much recommended for accompanying mature visitors who are not skiers. I have stayed some 15 times in last 20 years. I know the staff changes but the reservation computer is the same. I have never been greeted with a smile and "Welcome back Dr. Gale" or some such nicety. Also, when leaving, they never say "Hope you enjoyed your stay. Have a good trip home. Looking forward to seeing you next year". True, these are all trivialities of no real importance, but they add much to the good feeling of the guest.
Fantastic location and lovely wood design. Small Rooms / Old TV sets.
The hotel is in a great position. Our room looked out on the Eiger. The food was good and the staff very helpful. The pool and spa facilities were first class. If we go back to Grindelwald we will stay there again. No.
Perfect location for skiing in a well preserved Alpine village. Facilities, such as swimming pool, spa and evening dancing (for older people) are excellent. Morning breakfast is very good. Evening meals not recommeded. I have stayed there for a week at least 10 times in last 20 years, but they still do not greet me accordingly on arrival, or wish me a pleasant trip and "Au revoir" on leaving. This is often, but not always the case in correct but cold Swiss hospitality. The "superior" room lacked a chest of drawers for clothes, an armchair or coffee machine.
Location , food and friendly staff Bathrooms need modernising - not 4 *
Breakfast was superb and hotel staffs were very kind. Hotel rooms were mainteined in very good condition. Teh room rate was very reasonable in Switzerland.
location was excellent, stunning scenery. very comfortable lounge area with open log fire and comfy chairs, huge picture windows. the room did not have a kettle/coffee making facilities. no spa or swimming pool, even though it was classed as 4star. they gave you the option online to pick a more expensive room with a balcony and view. when we got there, the scenery was sooo stunning and readily available from any angle, that paying for the view was uncalled for. the alps were on the hotels doorstep. the balcony was tiny and consisted of 2 hard chairs, no table.
Very efficiently run. We would definately stay there again No
A wonderful Swiss experience! Hosts were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Exceptional summertime views and winter must be magic. Because it is more isolated it was great to have a very good restaurant. The balcony was not private.
Location, Comfortable, Good dining particularly evening dinner Unfortunatley they ran out of soap! I understand we had one of the few rooms serviced with tablet soap.
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location with an amazing view of the mountains.
We enjoyed the realism of a Swiss Chalet experience and the wonderful food The building is a wooden structure and so there is more noise transfer between rooms than desirable
Great location, great hospitality The beautiful landscape visible from the rooms is disturbed by a camping managed by the same owner of the hotel. Ok, business is business but the sight without the camping would be astounding!
Excellent cost performance. Beuatiful location directly facing Eiger.
The elevated view across the valley is beautiful day as well as night
Very friendly staff, the restaurant is simply amazing; breakfast is good too. Rooms are simple, but quite big and very clean; great views. The hotel is quite far from the center of Grindelwald, hence you'll get guaranteed tranquillity; but you have to have your own car, public transport are not frequent. The restaurant has amazing, gourmet style, food: but the menu should include something less elaborate too.
The staff was great... The shower was too short
The receptionist is nice and helpful. The location is convenient...It takes only about 10 mins from station to hotel....just a straight road up....easy to access. limited variety in breakfast buffet...not worth for CHF18...better bring your own food.
The food was excellent and rooms where very comfortable with an amazing view of the mountain
Room is comfortable and equipped with lift/toilet/shower, enjoy from its wooden house design Heater cannot be turned on even under cold temp, view of the balcony is not broad enough (as blocked by opposite house), the price seems not cheap (no breakfast and need additional travel tax for each person)
We stayed in one of the larger rooms and had a wonderful view. This is a perfect location. The Restaurant is first rate.
How can anyone go wrong with views outside your window of waterfalls and the mountains. Excellent facility, generous breakfast, good staff
Great location, friendly service, comfortable room and quiet
The location was lovely. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. And, yes, the furniture is a little outdated, but after a day in the snow it is a welcome rest place.
The location was fabulous and the beds very comfortable. Staff were very accomodating.
The beautiful scenery of the Alps was the highlight. It is a great location to get the Jungfrau or Schilthorn. The restaurant had good fondue and the included breakfast was pretty good too. The waitresses were great and tolerant of a large group with 3 little children. The decor was hideous. I'm sure it looked like a hip ski/hunting lodge 30 years ago because that certainly was the last time it was updated. The furniture was old, but functional. The TV and alarm clock were probably antiques. The tap water gave the the choice of scalding hot or glacier cold. The shower head was a joke. The elevator was scary- I was glad to get out alive. If you are doing nothing but skiing all day and just need a place to sleep Hotel Schutzen would suffice, but if you want a comfortable tasteful place to rest, this is not the place for you. You could definitely get more for your money somewhere else. This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment!
The location of the hotel is really cool with nice views of the waterfall. The service was really nice. Highly recommended.
sauna room and fitness room
Good buffet breakfast with much variety. We got upgraded to a chalet which had much space, was very quiet and included laundry & kitchen facilities which we made good use of. After staying in hotel rooms, it was good to spread out and relax and eat in for a change, instead of dining at $$$ restaurants all the time. Hotel had a fantastic modern gym facilities as well. Good central location in Grindelwald. We would have liked to stay longer
Hotel stuff was very nice and helpfull. Water mattres was also a big plus. At first, we had a room above the entrance and smoking smell and noise disturbed us, once we asked to change to room, we were transfered to a better one in manner of minutes. very good breakfast No wifi in most of the hotel, which is a big down.
Location and breakfast/dinner. Food was so nice. non
Dinner at Barry's
Friendly atmosphere and a wonderful breakfast (I should say exceptional) !
Comfortable room and bed. English channels on tv (not typical in Switzerland ). Fun decor, and good location
Nice staff, facilities well equipped No wifi inside room
Location to ALPS Little pricey for quality of room. Rugs in rooms need updating.
The room was clean and spacious, very comfortable. The view from the room was superb with the massive Eiger north wall. Frankly speaking, the dishes are salty to my taste. I think they use more salt in this region than in other countries.
Poor access to upper floors by two elevators and stairs. Room very basic with limited storage space
Courteous staff, excellent breakfast, excellent location Nothing...
Room is clean, Station is in front of hotel. There is Japanese menu in hotel restaurant. Breakfast is good. Elevator is bad because of long waiting
This hotel has to be one of the most conveniently located hotels in Switzerland. Located right at the Grindelwald train station in stunning natural beauty, the hotel is a fine example of Swiss hospitality, with all the services one would expect and walk-access to public transport.
The staff was very friendly and helpful - they even let us park our car at the hotel before we checked in to go up with the cable car - as well as for several hours after checking out. The restaurant was really nice and the food was excellent (except that my fish was a bit salty). The family rooms are extremely outdated but large and clean. Outside of the family rooms was a large sitting area, which we used to visit with my other family members (while having a small happy hour). The location right behind the train station was very convenient. The family rooms are very outdated - very old carpet & furniture and dark woodwork. The bed was very hard. The caulking around the sink had lots of "gunk" in it and should be replaced.
Location Breakfast was thin on the ground, rooms were v basic as where facilities in room. More akin to a straight 3 star
Very good location adjacent to the train station, in particular for travellers coming by train or for those who want to take an early train to the kleine Scheidegg. Nice rooms with view on the mountains. Close to city center. Excellent 5-course menu if half board is booked.
Central in the village close to all needed facilities. Excellent staff, service and food. Nice rooms especially the family room. Friendyl for dogs. Recomended.
Very close to the station. Rooms ware not very spacious. Bed lines were not changed though we stayed 3 nights (We took off lines to show that we want it changed, but still it was not changed. This was unbelievable.
Very friendly staff, quick service Very small lifts
SKIP THE FONDUE AT CAVA. When you arrive if you indicate you are interested in fondue, the hostess will seat you in the "stink" room. It was nauseating. We ordered fondue and the waitress asked if my husband and I were both going to have some? I said yes. We received a giant bowl of fondue with nothing to dip but bread. We ate a few bites and were done. I mean how much cheese can one consume? When we got our bill we were charged $48 for our fondue, rather than the $24 serving I was led to believe we were ordering. We spent the remainder of the night in the bathroom...
The staffs are very polite ,helpful and lovely. The coffee and tea room is very comfortable, good for relaxing. The lift to go upstair is too small, not convenient to transfer the baggages.
The staff was very helpful and spoke english. You could not ask for a better location!
location (close to railway), view, wireless, friendly reception bed, breakfast time vs. early trip to jungfrau, information on services
Staff all willing to help. Good selection for breakfast and fresh.
clean, spacious rooms. friendly and helpful staff, good choice at breakfast would visit again.
Everything, staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was fantastic. Close to everything. Breakfast was good. Spacious rooms. Nice Layout of rooms. Will definitely return to Bernerhof Hotel. Everything was Magic!
The hotel is in need of remodeling and cleaning. It does not measure up to a 3-star rating.
The location of the hotel from the station was a very easy walk once we found it.
Clean and comfortable room. Good location next to the Grindelwald train station.
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. NA
the location is close to hiking sites, railroad. the room is quite small and crowded for 4 persons, shared bathroom and toilet in a walking distance (separated from the room), hot water in the shower costs 0.5 frank per 3 minutes.
The landscape is unique. Very near of train station to visit some of the main site attractions. there were no washing maching on site, we have to do the washing in the common facilities.
It was a good camping site. Very neat and clean
nothing. I will never back in that hotel Far from the train station. The hotel staffs are very unfriendly. We asked for the linings and towls on payment at the first day of arrival, but they didn't send to us till the end of the day. When we asked them on the next day, they said they did not know we requested. The showering water was not hot at all. Cannot imagine if it was in winter.
The place is nearly a 20-minutes walk from the railway station. The bus that goes there is on infrequent turns. It is noisy at night from the camping people. The bunk-beds are rather small. Overall it's not worth the price (compared to other places we went to in Switzerland).
It's very very basic but friendly and a real batgain when you compare to everywhere else. Location good - short walk to town and easy to get to other places in the region Shared toilets were in different block
Beautiful setting. Had to pay to have a hot shower. Small room.
Good price, and good location. Long walk to bathrooms/showers. Inconvienent to have reception/shop closed 3 hours during lunchtime.
Waking up to golden sunlight pouring over the mountains into my room every morning. Quiet, beautiful location with views of the waterfalls. Having to leave.
fresh air and very nice montane view, there is waterfall you can go through it to feel it have to through outside to downstair's toilet and the room is cold in the morning,
Nice spacious room with sofa. Breakfast was quite early with a good spread (compared with similar hotels). Bathroom was good too- bright, spacious and new. Reception was very busy when we arrived in the evening as all the staff seemed engaged with the restaurant. Had to wait for quite a long time before we got our room. It was ok to wait but perhaps someone could have just told us nicely that they woudl attend to us shortly instead of ignoring us and leaving us standing there waiting. Person attending to us at that time later was not friendly either. But the person at the counter in the mornings after that were much more pleasant. Besides this, all was good.
The people were very friendly and accommadating. They did a lot of trouble to let me use ther computer. Will definetaly stay there again. Food was excellent. Next time I will stay longer. The matress was noy very good.
It gives the best feel of nature in Switzerland
super clean with the staff cleaning everything 24/7. efficient and organized owners. great food at the restaurant. beautiful location
My room was comfortably large with good storage space and excellent lighting. The balcony is a definite plus, looking beyond the busy Strasse (which, mercifully, is quiet during sleeping hours) to the mountains beyond Wengen. Good breakfast. If I didn't have a heavy suitcase, I wouldn't have minded the absence of a lift.
Wonderful, friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Clean rooms (ours had a small balcony and a view of the falls). Delicious food at the hotel restaurant. Good breakfast. Walking distance to trams and falls.
The view from the room was spectactular. It was close to station so easy to get everywhere. The food and beverages were wonderful and authentic. No sheets on the bed.
We had a very spacious triple room, the breakfast was great, the food in their restaurant delicious. the owners are great, always there to answer questions and provide a great service.
What I really appreciated was how personable and helpful the owners of the hotel were to us. They were very kind and very accomodating.
The reception is extremely hospitable and welcoming. The view from the balcony is certainly beautiful.
Nice space in rooms and bathrooms + nice mountain view. Room service was not that good + a little bit over priced.
The hotel was perfectly clean and comfortable and the perfect location for skiing and walking. The customer service was excellent - 5 star plus service from a 4 star hotel! Such attention to detail. The food in the restaurant was superb (a real pleasure to have healthy options that tasted so good) and the restaurant had an excellent view to match. The swimming pool was an added bonus. We would have preferred to sleep in a double bed rather than two twin beds pushed together - especially as each bed had separate duvets. This could probably have been resolved by choosing another room type and we appreciate that many couples prefer this option.
The views of the Eiger were beautiful! Spa facilities were very clean and comfortable with great view. We enjoyed steam rice and miso soup at breakfast. Sauna was too hot for us.
Stayed in the Eiger Suite. Beautiful view and very close to the town and all walking trails. The hotel staff was always nice and helpful. Great spa and dinner. Pillows weren't the best.
We loved the hotel, breakfast, rooms, staff, locations, and views. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The rooms were spacious with great views. Having to leave - can't wait to come back.
This hotel has magnificent views and a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. The staff are very professional and helpful.
The location was absolutely stunning,
The friendliness of the staff and excellent location
View of mountains 5star price 3 star hotel eg no food available anywhere after 9pm
Very nice staff. Super mountain views and good overall facilities
Everything you could possibily require, food in the restaurant especially good Nothing
location, view from of ;mountains from room, flexible staff (e.g., allow us to check in early and to store our luggage at the hotel after we checked out of our room )
View of the Eiger from our balcony. Fairly central location. Room was very dated and had a very small bathroom.
The veiw was out of this world. The room had a bad smell and was not clean.
Nice swiss characteristic hotel. Nice view up the mountains. Friendly staff, very helpfull Small room but very cosy.
free wifi internet in the lobby area , from train station walk 10mins reception and my room is different building , wifi internet only free in reception lobby
It has the most amazing view of the mountains! Also the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful but hands down, the view is the very best asset this hotel has to offer. There is an older part of the hotel and a newer part. The floors in the older part squeeked so bad that none of us could sleep the first night. The staff totally understood and were able to move us to the newer building which had an even more amazing view then the first older building. If possible, stay in the newer building because it is gorgeous!
A very good hotel in a superb location with a view of the north face of the Eiger Mountain. Plentiful buffet breakfast, cklean room with balcony and parking on site.
pleasant room, fabulous views, friendly helpfull staff Lack of a lift
very helpfull staff we paid much more when reservated the hotel 2 months before arriving, & when we came, we saw an advertising on the hotel with much!!! lower price - unbelievable
The beds were very uncomfortable and the rooms very small for he price.
Great location Rooms are a bit small
The location is very near to train station. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly as well. Minor dirt found in baconly but which is fine.
Very kind and helpful staff. Location, Affordable price and view from room (we could see Eiger clearly from our room). There were some noises from upper floor when people were walking.
The hotel is excellent. Good good, service and extremely clean. Very cosy and convenient location. We had a wonderful experience.
Good Breakfast, very close to train station to Jungfrau.(within a few step). The hotel is clean and the staff are very cheerful and friendly.
Good location near the trainstation, breakfast was nice and friendly staff. I dont have anything bad to say about this hotel, the prise was also ok ( in october) We are coming again, Grindelwald is a beautiful place!
very good breakfast, nice staff
Convinient location to train station.
Excellent location (close to train and bus stations, in city center), we had a nice and spacious room with a balcony and a view of Eigar summit. Hotel restaurant serves good food. Free hotel parking. The guests also get free access to the nearby SPA (which we did not visit). Very happy with the stay at the hotel in general. Breakfast staff were somewhat not very helpful - they were very slow to serve coffee and they would not notice if something has finished in the buffet. Also the wireless internet properly works only in the reception floor.
There wasn't parking except for on the street and you had to carry your bags up one floor to get to where they had an elevator.
Location in the beauty of fhe Swiss alps At CH 150/night in the slow season it was more expensive than some other hotels in Grindelwald,
The service and the food were excellent.
Room very clean and location was excellent. For the standard of the hotel we thought that the food was disappointing.
Great pool. Great location.
Food was excellent in the Stublie. Staff were very helpful. Room had a beautiful view Main resturant and bar were a bit basic
The pool & suana, the view. Bar area could have been more "cozy"
Helpful, professional staff, ideal location, beautiful view, excellent food and service. the in-house sauna and pool facilities were A++ The beds were uncomfortable.
A great base for seeing the Swiss mountains.
Staff was very helpful.
The facility was clean and exquisitely located with a beautiful view of the Alps.Susanna and other staff were so very professional, polite, and willing to go above and beyond!
We stayed at the Eiger Swiss Hotel for 3 nights of our 2-week honeymoon throughout Europe. This was the BEST part of our trip. The journey to Murren is worth it. The views, hiking, food and alpine spring water are absolutely spectacular. Last, the hotel was superb. The staff is friendly, the hotel restaurant is wonderful, the breakfast is perfect. We stayed in the James Bond 007 suite and it was worth every penny. We will return to this gem of a hotel!
This place was amazing from every standpoint. Location can't be beat. Views are incredible. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool and sauna. Room was great and the beds were comfy! I like it all!
The Eiger staff were very friendly and helpful, and from what we could tell, the location is unbeatable (across the street from the train station, but with an unbelievable view). I wish our stay had been longer, but we'll certainly be back.
