Location. Friendliness of staff. Concierage service.
Ceiling low. Breakfast a bit expensive.
Great location, well kept
Very central location. Close to tube station and Oxford street. Less than 10 pounds for cab to Paddington station. Room recently renovated. Nespresso in the room. Lots of storage (drawers, closet space). Very professional staff. Free printing so we could checkin for our departure flight. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Renovations still ongoing. Construction was happening in the room next to us during the day on a weekday. No construction on weekends and it started at a reasonable hour on weekdays. Few amenities in hotel, but we weren't looking to use them. My wife didn't sleep as well as she needs a contour pillow and one wasn't available.
The location was perfect ....
There were dust in the room which were flying Every point of the room, this activated my allergy, air conditioner couldn't clean the room.
Amba Hotel Marble Arch was built in 1933 and offers travelers a chance to be part of an interesting history. Frank Sinatra and Glenn Miller were once guests at the hotel and today it’s a popular spot with both tourists and business travelers due to its convenient location. The Amba Hotel is in a central location that sits on a quiet road, just one block off of London’s most popular shopping destination, Oxford Street. Just across from Oxford Street is Hyde Park making it ideal for guests visiting the Winter Wonderland Christmas Markets. Selfridges department store and Marble Arch Station are just a five-minute walk from the hotel. Many of London’s main attractions can be reached within 20 minutes, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the London Eye, and the Tate Modern. While plenty of attractions are within a short distance, there are also plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate area. One of the main attractions to the hotel is The Grill restaurant which serves classic steaks and seasonal English cuisine. A break buffet is served daily with favorites like omelets, bacon, sausage, coffee, pastries, and juices. The chic bar serves local wines, ales, spirits, and afternoon tea. The Deli is another casual spot that’s ideal for quick bites and business meetings and the Amba Lounge is a cozy, quiet spot for guests to unwind. The hotel also features a fitness center and nine spacious meeting rooms. There are a variety of room types available at the hotel, ranging from the basic Standard Rooms to spacious Studio Apartments. The rooms offer straightforward and modern décor with plenty of features and in-room amenities include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, minibars, and iPads. Also free in all rooms are robes, slippers, and bottled water.
