A four star hotel across the street from London's stately Hyde Park, the Corus Hotel Hyde Park is the company's flagship London outpost, accessible to all of central London.
Heritage at Hyde Park
Get a taste of London history with a stay at the Corus Hotel Hyde Park, beautifully maintained in a 200-year-old heritage Georgian building. The 389 guestrooms come in various layouts to suit everyone from solo travelers to families. The rooms have a modern aesthetic and complimentary wireless Internet access.
The Corus has two on-site restaurants. Olio’s Bar & Brasserie serves full English breakfast in the mornings and traditional tea every afternoon. Bel Canto -- Opera Dinners Restaurant, meanwhile, offers a unique dining experience, as all the servers are budding opera singers (yes, they will burst into famous arias at your table). Additional facilities include a fitness center, business center, and meeting rooms.
London at your Fingertips
Some of London's most iconic neighborhoods and best shopping are just a stroll away, including Oxford Street and the hip Portobello Road Market. Go-to neighborhoods like Notting Hill and Shepherd's Bush are quickly accessible on the Underground. And there's no need for a taxi or rental car, since the Lancaster Tube station is just 0.1 mile from the Corus Hotel Hyde Park's doorstep.
Staff are friendly & the breakfast is gorgeous
The bedroom was very small & you had to stand on a slant to have a shower
Location was great. Lobby of the hotel was very impressive. Nice touch with the piano player.
Really small single beds. Room was small also . The view from the window was appalling industrial bins and rubbish everywhere only looked out once and then closed the curtains.
We found our room on the 10th floor to be extreme quiet and although the heating was not working we were left a radiator to plug in.
The menu choice in the Olio Restaurant was restricted.
Lovely room- executive room. Clean and comfortable. staff very accommodating. Fantastic location for shopping & sightseeing.
The location is very good for us. The hotel-staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is excellent and suit us very well. We like to come back again and stay at room no. 248!. This was the third time we stayd Corus Hotel Hyde Park.
The only thing we were not so happy about, was that we had asked for a special room , no 248. We asked for that room in our booking. That was not notified.
location and helpful staff
i had booked an executive double but it was so small and basic we asked to move to a suite for an extra 50£ a night
close to Kensington park and the tube at lancaster gate
lack of thought
Staff was extremely helpful, professional & friendly. We were upgraded to an executive room which was quite spacious for a London hotel. They even had a computer with internet access in the lobby. I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience & will stay at this hotel again.
Of the five nights we stayed there, when we returned to the room at night very tired the electronic keys did not work on three separate occasionsand we had to go back to the lobby and get them reprogrammed.. Dining reem was marginal in selections.Location was fine for young people with tube and bus service nearby, no shopping or other restaurants nearby.
No air con in our room- extortionate upgrade required
The Friendly approach of the staff, nothing to much.
There was no air conditioning - which was unbearable. And rooms were much much smaller than they looked.
