3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Clean
Cons: Evening manager was awful.Pub attached terrible, and smelled awful,as we were thinking of eating there but when we entered, the bar tender had her face stuffed with food and announced,"We've just opened"I asked for lemon in my drink it didn't come with any, when I again asked she went to put it in with her fingers.Went to pay and got"Don't take card under £5".In a very nasty way,not sorry,or do you have cash.We went back to the hotel and mentioned to the manager, and she said,"She gets rave reviews".Ordered a meal With roast baby potatoes, came with boiled,no sauce,so asked for butter for them and said because It says in the menu they are roast.Told very sharply by the femail manager"THEY ARE ROAST BABY POTATOES!"I pealed the skin off to show they weren't and she just walked off.Butter didn't come, beef was like a bit of shoe leather...£19!Rest of the staff were fab in the hotel, but she was vile,my whole group said they would never stay there again because of her attitude.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff couldn’t of been more customer focused and helpful. The public areas are very good.
Cons: Room 110 was tired, the shower hose where it met the bath taps was bent and leaked. The deco in the bathroom was tired. There was a big hole alongside the sink where a tissue box should of been,. The room was as clean as possible, it makes me think their efforts are being let down by the management . This property almost by itself at maybe 3-5miles Kms out of town, a £14.00 taxi ride from the rail station, (the other Holiday inn is in town )

Pros: Amazing dining room with exposed beams. Two really lovely ladies serving us tea and coffee and making everyone feel very at home and spoiled for an amazing spread of breakfast! Maria was one, and I didn't get the other lady's name. Dinner was also just right - when you travel alone as a woman, you want somewhere you can just enjoy a quiet dinner and the woman behind the bar was really helpful and kind.
Cons: The heating in the bar and dining room blasted through the air vents and was very hot if you sat below them. Not sure if that can be changed.

Cons: There’s was nothing to complain about
7.0 Good
Pros: Cornerstone is situated in a 300 year old building .... The rooms are not over large, but fine for a one or two night stay. We would maybe have been more comfortable if there had been a chair in addition to the stool tucked under the dressing table/desk, but we spent so little time in our room (except for sleeping) that it didn't really matter.
Cons: A chair?
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was good. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The parking could have been better.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly. Bed comfy
Cons: Very disappointed with the cost of breakfast at £13 each which you had to get at the cafe next door and you couldn’t even have a full English breakfast considering they did have it on another menu for only £5.70! I feel ripped off. Only one small cup of tea too.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff and the breakfast meal was excellent
Cons: The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The TV used to turn itself on automatically every so often. During the night this was very annoying. At the exit the landlord has erected a notice board which restricts the views onto the main road. It is dangerous and should be removed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was lovely and very hospitable. Upon arrival into the room, you find tea, hot chocolate, coffee and biscuits available. The facilities were very clean, they even had a lovely sitting area with a bar, books and board games by a fireplace. I truly felt the great service during and after my stay, as they allowed me to keep my car parked following check out and they provided me with facilities to use for prayer before I had my long journey home. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: Convenient for meeting family. Plenty of space in our family room (2 adults and 2 teenagers sharing). Great breakfast.

Pros: good value for money, lovely location, very clean, great staff. Excellent restaurant; the Chocolate Fondant is to die for ! We didn't have breakfast as we had to leave for an early flight out of Gatwick.
Cons: The walls in the Lodge rooms are a bit thin and we could hear the men in the next room laughing and making a lot of noise. Fortunately, they stopped around midnight and went to bed. .... but this wouldn't stop us staying there again !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and helpful welcome on arrival. Room was very clean and quiet. Ideal location for our visit to Headcorn. Bed was also very comfortable as we prefer a firm mattress. Cons: Coffee Luke warm at breakfast, COD skin soggy at dinner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here with my 10yo son for one night only and he absolutely loved it The animal park provides a great safari to see a fantastic collection of animals in the wild but it's even better when the park closes and you have the chance to see the them in the relative peace and quiet after 6.30pm We had dinner at the pizzeria which was excellent but an added bonus was being next to the big cats and seeing/hearing the lions roar as the sun came down The hotel itself is very grand and the room was fantastic It is great value for money and I would recommend this to anyone
7.1 Good
Pros: Good hotel doing a very worthwhile job.
Cons: Room was a bit dated and not as on website, compares with bar, wonderful views though. Went for dinner where the food was very good but felt staff were overstretched as service was slow. We wanted to have drinks beforehand but were told they could only hold table for 15 minutes as they were busy but restaurant was not full. Were told that restaurant and bar was about to close at around 11.20, we had friends dining with us! There is 24 hour concierge service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good service, clean and stunning location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfort, staff, zoo and zoo keepers. Just a great place to stay and top experience.
Cons: Minor issues: My partner asked for a small cake at dinner for my birthday. It was not arranged by the kitchen. Scrambled eggs a bit runny at breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is stunning and the views are amazing. Bedroom was very relaxing and comfy night sleep. Breakfast was lovely, lots to chose from and we were very well looked after. Baby dolls restaurant was lovely and really enjoyed being able to wonder round the park and go round on safari truck.
Cons: Weren't made aware the restaurant we booked for dinner was in the middle of the park and were told we could walk but path is pitch black, cold and wet as it's winter. Would be fine in the summer, eventually we were told we could get a minibus down as we were about to start walking! As our room was above the entrance to the hotel we could hear heavy equipment being moved in to the hotel quite early in the morning. When going around the wildlife park in the golf buggy it wasn't incredibly clear where the path was and where we could and couldn't go, much easier to walk round.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and grand was beautiful

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff and the breakfast meal was excellent
Cons: The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The TV used to turn itself on automatically every so often. During the night this was very annoying. At the exit the landlord has erected a notice board which restricts the views onto the main road. It is dangerous and should be removed

Cons: Couple of items missed in the previous clean: the mirror on the dressing table was dusty and there were toothpaste splashes on the wall next to the basin in the bathroom.

Pros: Nice room, very clean . Great evening meal in the dog friendly restaurant; nice breakfast.
Cons: Nothing really; The stairs to the second floor were quite steep, which it has to be said were mentioned in the booking confirmation but don’t recall seeing that when we booked. That said, not the biggest issue, and overall we had a lovely stay.
