Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, especially its proximity to Paddington station and easy access to public transport. The staff were frequently described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating, contributing positively to guests' experiences. Cleanliness was also highlighted as a strong point, with many reviews mentioning clean rooms and modern interiors. However, several guests found the beds uncomfortable and hard, and the lack of an elevator was a recurring inconvenience, particularly for those with heavy luggage or rooms on higher floors. Despite some negative feedback about room comfort and amenities, the overall value for money and service left a positive impression on many visitors.

Pros (+) My Paddington train had been unexpectedly cancelled, so I was not in the best mood when I arrived -- but the woman behind the desk was so friendly & understanding, the room so clean and cozy [and larger than I had anticipated] -- and the proximity to Paddington for my journey the following morning left me really grateful this place was handy!
Cons (-) The shower never got above lukewarm... it certainly helped me wake up!
