Cons (-) The hotel is cheap for a reason. The photos look cute but there were cockroaches in the bathrooms and some sort of dark liquid splattered over the ceiling. The A/C made the room smell like pee. We had planned on going to Universal that day, sleeping in the hotel, and driving home the next morning, and instead we drove all the way to LA and back to Sacramento on the same day, just to avoid sleeping...

Pros (+) This was a very no-frills place but it was a place to sleep and pretty clean. I like that the second bed was tucked into a different room (without a door).
Cons (-) The pillows were extremely uncomfortable and the mattress was covered in plastic, but that's how things go in a cheap motel.
