3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location isn't too far from the centre and there are some places to eat nearby.
Cons: The room was very dirty, the shower was an attachment to the bath and was not fit for purpose, check in took 25 minutes as only one person was doing it. I was disappointed with almost everything about this stay, it was really a run down property.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really spacious and had more than enough places to store luggage, clothing etc The food served was really good and Id strongly recommend getting the Tapas one night as it was delicious. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. Supermarket about 5 minutes away (if that) and there are some resturants a short walk away if you desire.

Cons: Not organized with the beds.. So 2am this drunk guy came and clamed I was sleeping in his bed.. That started an argument and waking up the other ppl in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The excellent service by staff
Cons: There is constructies in the front ochtend hotel. Not their fault but gets a bit dirty.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The private room was spacious for a hostel, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly.
Cons: Website states there is parking available, which there isn't. Not only that, but the check in staff was unable to provide parking suggestions. The website mentions a bar/terrace. There is no bar or restaurant. Finally, due to extensive construction, the is no vehicle access to the hotel. I had to park illegally about 300 m away in order to walk to hotel where they failed to provide parking suggestions. In the end I found a parking lot about 500m away under the cinema for 20 euro per day. Note that the website also mentioned a pick up/drop off area. Its definitely time for the website to be updated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern central and near transport and all amenities
Cons: Roadworks outside are temporary
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked a private double room. The room was big, spartan, reasonably clean and towels were provided in the room (not the message I received via booking.com). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok for 6 euros, but nothing special.
Cons: There was only one sheet on the bed mattress, which I find to be unhygienic - I expect a mattress cover or undersheet! Breakfast was served in a very small area at the end of the bar (about 1.5m long) - with food on the counter, and all plates, cutlery etc below - so it was difficult to serve yourself, because of course, someone was always standing in the way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the receptionist was really nice!!! he recommended restaurants and checked information for me. and the room is comfortable. btw, it's really close to the centre!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet.
Cons: I have to put on and take off linen and take them to laundry room.

Pros: Price. Good price for two people.
Cons: Staff. Terrible.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredible. Could not fault them what so ever. We had to cut our stay short due to needing to head home to Australia early because of COVID-19 outbreak. The staff helped us so much with anything they could to make our experience better. Thank you! Also- Our first room had a broken window, they moved us straight away. The rooms were clean and tidy.
Cons: The property was quite far out from the city centre and restaurants and other shops, etc. Public transport in the area was often unreliable but that’s not the properties fault.

6.0 Good
Pros: Late Checkout on sunday Till 5 pm., Good price, helpful stuff.
Cons: The rooms were as expected, but a bit over time, which you could der in furniture. The hotel is outside the City, which wasnt a big Deal , so WE could save City Car Tax, but a huge Problem was the Public Transport. The Bus fromm hotel is only every hour, the Tram about 2km feetwalk.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Leaving the place Saturday morning. Not as advertised. Waste of time.
Cons: The room was awful.. Bathroom dirty.. Awful location. Only stayed one of the 2 nights as couldn't stand a second night in a noisy room. It was advertised as a sound proof room. There was nothing sound proofed or event quiet regarding it..

5.4 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was great! The staff at the desk & at the breakfast were efficient & courteous!
Cons: No way is this hotel 4 stars! The sheets did not fit the bed! The pillows were from the 1980's! The bathroom 1970's!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was great, decent size, bathtub included, a big wide wall mirror, as well as a hairdryer being included and plenty of towels. Plenty of pillows were also supplied as well as additional chairs. During my stay, the country started to go on lockdown. This meant the bar and restaurant downstairs was not open. However, they did instead bring a cute little breakfast bag to my door in the morning which was really nice of them. They tried their best under the circumstances.
Cons: Could have provided more teabags and such, as well as spoons. TV is not great, could do with updating really.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice cosy hotel, friendly and professional staff, location very good next to train station at a prestigious (shopping) street from which old town is reached in 10 minutes walking distance. Bathroom is nice and spacious. Room space is ok. Breakfast was very good too.
Cons: To give this hotel a top rating I would need a bit of a bigger room and more amenities such as gym or spa. Otherwise great hotel.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast, always right in this hotel, as well as staff in reception.
Cons: All about our room. I meet this hotel since 10 years, and they should change already in many aspects as well as isolating of the windows, just very very poor, or inexistent. All wind was entering in the room. I paid for a superior and I get a normal room. Calefactor is very noisi as well as air conditioner, very very old and like a engine of a truck. Impossible to sleep, and the room like a fridge. Was then cold than we couldn't get even a shower because the bath doesn't have calefaction. Incredible in a hotel like this, that I always used to recommend. I hope they can fix all this things.
5.7 Okay
Cons: Hotel is dark, tired and in need of update.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: The smokers at the entrance

Pros: Paul was super helpful with getting us settled and providing maps and suggestions for exploring Antwerp - very appreciative of his help with street parking and I distance on carrying our heavy bags up the 3 flights of stairs - great location convenient to transporting, restaurants and a gelato shop next door - Paul was a wonderful host that we would love to stay with again.

Pros: I enjoyed spacious apartment and Pauls warm welcome and instructions. It's one of the best places I've stayed.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is fantastic, close to the best cafés and restaurants, but still not busy. And Paul is a man that one can be friend with since the first word one exchanges with him. Informative, helpful, friendly. The room was clean and perfect size, and the breakfast is nice, from a local bakery. Looking forward to go there again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is an absolutely wonderful place in the nice Zuid part of Antwerp. They have a few apartments apart from the lovely room I was staying in, which had coffee and tea facilities and a fridge. The room is in many ways very simple but in the most positive sense of this term and perfect size for somebody travelling alone. Paul is a fabulous host, making sure that you have all you need, and with an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of Antwerp, able to answer all your queries. My computer back pack, for example, needed to be replaced and immediately he told me about the nearest shop, where, indeed, they solved my problem in a most satisfactory way. I have no doubt that this is where I will stay next time I visit Antwerp
Cons: The mozzies were a bit of a nuisance but who can blame that on the establishment!

Pros: very friendly hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Decoration, hospitality, lication
Cons: Everyting! Complete perfection!!! And fantastic decoration & style, designed by the very talented host himself, perfect breakfast, beautiful garden, one of the greatest hospitality experience and close to the biggest natural swimming pond in Belgium, the Sportpaleis, the Riverenhof and the centre of Antwerp. I am a fan!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners ,who live in the the adjacent townhouse , were gracious and informative. They are artists who beautifully restored ed and furnished the property. The Exterlaer perfectly met our locational needs, and met our it "charm standard" . It is located in an early twentieth century neighborhhod with a diversity of architecture. Free parking was available about a block away.Parking in Central Antwerp is expensive and restricted. A tram, however is located a half block away ,and it provides easy access to Central Antwerp as well as the Osli Coglei (sp?) art nouveau district, Antwerpen is an overlooked city,
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very helpful, made us feel very welcome. The bed was very comfy, the room was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was superb.
Cons: I had a problem with opening the front door with the code. The problem was not with the code itself but turning the knob of the door in the right direction.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Especially loved the Jacuzzi bathtub and the really nice breakfast in bed. Stunning architecture. Nice owner.
Cons: Missed a bathroom door...
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice room
Cons: It is practically not a hotel, but an apartment in an old building, nicely renovated. There is no service from there, they only provide a contact telephone number. Breakfast brings you to the room because the restaurant is not there, they bring you to the room at the time they want and not at the time you want. We had to leave hungry because you overslept to make us breakfast at 8 o'clock at which we asked. "Hotel" has 5 stars but I give it 3. Nobody helps you bring suitcases because there is nobody, there is no restaurant or service. At first, the lady gives you a key and a letter with instructions on how to get to the room in no way reminds you of a 5-star hotel service I do not recommend

7.0 Good
Pros: Host and house is nice. Parking in the area is easy to find and 5€/day.
Cons: Room was nice, but heating was not turned on, when we arrived, and it was (currently is) winter. Also no shampoo in the bathroom, which surprised us, due to the rather high price.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Street parking available, fresh made breakfast, interesting house that was well renovated, perfect for a short term stay
Cons: Narrow stairs to the upper floor can become a challenge for large suitcases. TV screen definitely too small

Pros: The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The people in the desk was helpful and showed us what we can see in the city. The breakfast was variated enough . You can go to the Center by foot (almost 10 min walking)
Cons: We had the room close to the elevator...very noisy. There were a noise of pipes and water running since 7am that disturbs the sleeping. The room was not very good ventilated when we arrived, we had to open the windows (in winter!!!). The tv didn’t catch any images!!! The hotel doesn’t have parking places, and is difficult to find one around.

Pros: Good location
Cons: The hotel had to stop serving food because of government instruction due to Coronavirus but the front desk team could have been a bit more upbeat as they just seemed nervous and panicked which didn’t fill us with confidence.

Pros: The location was nice, there was a market nearby on the weekend. The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean.
Cons: We had pictured our room to be larger and more modern from the pictures. Our bathroom window was duct taped shut, since it didn't close properly, but it was still a litte breezy (but not much).
