Pros (+) Location by the ocean and the warmth of the sunshine. The staff were very pleasant ( most if them)
Cons (-) Absolutely everything. The way it was promoted online compared to what it is was a huge disappointment to us. Breakfast buffet was dismal for a five star resort. We were unable to negotiate a fair price for food portion of our stay ($1400 US per person for 4 days meals is unacceptable). Pros (+) Location, pool, rooms cleaned on time, response to requests timely, beautiful facility
Cons (-) Selection, quality & price of food. Showers too small. Desk never had any change for US currency, would not cash checks, rarely had cash to exchange for foreign currency, no cash stations on premises, most of machines in fitness station didn't work.

Pros (+) The hotel is ideally situated for a small conference - it recently accommodated our group of approx. 150 with ease. Staff easily accommodated us with rides to our rooms on their golf carts. Room service was exceptional - especially a very cheerful "Valerie" (I believe her name was).
Cons (-) Restaurant staff could not get our order right and I finally had to get up after waiting 20 minutes and ask the bartender for my own bottle of soda - I waited at the bar until he gave it to me despite mild protests from the hostesses that they would get it for me. I blame this on the restaurant and not hotel. But this truly was the only bad experience during our 5 day stay.
