Good location...needs freshening up
Location was quiet and away from Madrid bustle
Hotel looks old and tired...needs refurbishing.
Very accommodating for children and pets. Helpful reception staff. Proximity to Metro and Airport.
The fact that I was assured that my Debit Card would be used solely for reservation purposes, only to find that the entire amount for two rooms had been taken from my account on the day of booking. This left me in an awkward situation, as my daughter who I was meeting there was meant to be paying for the rooms. The only other complaint is that in order to arrange the shuttle to the airport, this had to be arranged the day before.....of which I was not made aware.....this meant that as there were five of us, we had to get two taxis, which proved extremely expensive.
Free Parking on site, pleasant neighbourhood.
Personnel poorly trained. No maps available at reception or any information shared with clients regarding restaurants and shopping near by. Seems receptionist knew less than us!!! Also hospitality offered for our small dog seemed at first glance exceptional; however, dog bed and plate offered dirty with stains from previous use. Better not offer a service if not at a standard quality - at least. Room (triple) evidently cramped and too small. All tv programs (but one) in Spanish ...it is a standard sewrvice throughout Europe and when paying about half the rate charged to have at least several satellite international channels for visitors. Breakfast overated and overcharged, skipped. Overall madrid not our favourite town...go to Portugal!
Free internet, very good breakfast buffet, quiet neighborhood.
We asked about a local car hire agency, and were directed to a location within 15 min walking distance. It turned out to be to over one hour and it was closed because it was Sunday.
Comfortable bed. Laptop in room. Close to metro, free parking.
The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Shower pressure was poor. Room service food was poor value and quality. Breakfast buffet was very expensive.
