The hotel staff was polite and courteous, helped us with baggage and let us know to ask if we needed anything at all. The hotel is beautiful, idyllic almost in an area that is generally bustling with activity. The room was spacious and clean and perfect for our first night
Located in downtown Manitou Springs made it a quick walk for shopping, restaurants, and pubs. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained and the staff could not have been friendlier. The room had a beautiful mountain view and was quite comfortable. Available valet makes your life easier when you are not using your vehicle as parking is quite difficult in the small resort town. Very pleased with our stay there.
The place was immaculate. They even touched up the paint every day! One of the best cared for properties I have stayed at.
Location was close to downtown $19 "service fee." Why does customer service cost extra? No self-parking. Only valet parking is available for an extra charge. Old furnishings; doilies and damask...grandma would love it, we didn't. Unhelpful check-in front desk staff: he couldn't answer questions and, worse, told us to go find out ourselves without offering assistance. I was really surprised at how much he didn't care about helping us. Overall value was very low. Pay extra to stay at Broadmoor or less to stay at a small hotel nearby. This place was the perfect combination of overpriced and low quality.
Great history in a small tourist driven community. Filled with beautiful antiques and historic info about the hotel and surrounding town. Lumpy pillows.
This place reminded me of a high end B&B. A historical landmark with modern amenities situated in the heart of downtown Manitou Springs. Very clean with a very nice buffet breakfast included. Definitely stay here again on out return to the area.
Got an unexpected upgraded to one of the turrets - nice! Great location, friendly staff, beautiful room with a great bathroom - shower with body jets, a heated toilet seat, and towel warmer! The room was large enough for a king size bed which would've been nice. The hall and elevator needed a good vacuuming.
location staff water decor bed
Absolutely amazing experience. Gorgeous grounds. Friendly staff. Beautiful room. Super short walk to anything & everything. Hated to check out!!!
Some older hotels can show their age. The paint may be fresh, but the doors don't fit, windows leak cold air, and plumbing is iffy. Not here. Cliff House is maintained very well, and feels new while keeping its 19th century atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming. The restaurant is exceptional for foodies. Location is ideal, just one block off the main thoroughfare. Valet parking is strongly suggested, so shuttling luggage is done in the circle drive out front. But this a minor accommodation one would expect at a landmark that stays loyal to its heritage.
Staff was beyond friendly, hotel is quaint...will be coming back. Beautiful hotel, good buffet breakfast...and once again the staff was so great. Carpet had some stains on it,bed was off the frame. Quick fix by myself on the bed frame...everything else was great in the room. Maybe time for some new carpet :)
Breakfast was awesome, the staff was efficient and friendly. Nothing.
The atmosphere overall was wonderful. The admin and reception was the worst part a majority of the time in addition to the room service. The reception was lazy and not helpful at all when we needed assistance and the room service brought us cold food and wrong orders. Also you couldn't open any windows and had to keep the shade drawn so people couldn't see right into the room - so was very dark.
Breakfast included (buffet style). Location is north of the city but easy access to highways to get to sightseeing locations. Short wait for Uber/Taxis Not in a great walking area. No elevator to bring bags to 2nd floor.
Comfy room, has fridge and microwave, great pool and hot tub, wonderful restaurant. Can't ask for more.
The room was really nice as well as the bath room other people were friendly as well as the staff The bed in the room wasn't the best kept having to wake up because lower back started to hurt (king size)
Breakfast was amazing. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. The hot tub closed early, 10pm.
Breakfast was wonderful, lobby sitting area around fire place, close to highways and many local resturants and shops, bed was super comfy Didn't have an outside sitting area, didn't have a spa
Great breakfast that is included. Grill has good food also.
The room and tv. The lack of customer service from driving in at 4 in the morning
The Broadmoor is a 5 star resort. It is a designation that is well earned. Everything was excellent.
Finee, well run hotel Need to bring many $$$ for constant tips
The Broadmoor is old world beautiful. The detail in design with comfort and beauty in mind is exquisite. The room we were given had a flight of stairs to climb and we were not told this ahead of time.
beautiful setting In this MASSIVE complex- in HIGH ALTITUDE there is NO water- anywhere!!! None set out at front desk- none in room...we were told "you can BUY some at the4 store down the hall" seriously?!
Views Nothing was free at least Lil lower on food becasues we travel to chill abd still don't feel at home
Service and food were good in the lounge (once the server finally showed up). My room key did not work when I tried to get in my room. Coffee was not in my room. THe ability to check out on the TV did not work.
Only stayed one night of Colorado vacation, but would have loved to stay a week! It was a bit cold and rainy, would love to come back in July or August!
Awesome location golf course with a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains! Being fall with the tree changing colors it was especially beautiful. Near everything ; Broadmoor Arena, Seven Falls, Cog train to Pikes Peak, the charming town of Manitu Springs, Garden of the Gods, hiking, golf, tennis, and Caverns. We were their for our anniversary and the staff surprised us with champagne and a fruit/cheese plate! It make quite an impression. Staff very friendly and thoughtful much better then Brown Palace. Everything was clean and cared for overall. Being a tub girl the bathroom was not an luxurious as I would have liked.
Convenient to most attractions. Felt the price was too high. We were put off on the end far from most resort amenities. There were no King Beds available although the parking lot was relatively empty.
The grounds and outdoor seating areas were great and the view is beautiful!!! The few times I called the front desk, there was no answer. Seemed the front desk was very low on staff.
Atmosphere, friendly staff, clean rooms, private retreat feel.
The bed was extremely comfy! The hotel and service was of high quality. There was construction work near my hotel building and the walls are definitely not sound-proof.
The room was cozy and comfortable. hotel staff service was very poor. Requested additional coffee, creamer and sugar and was brought one packet of cream. They said they were out. Alex for toothbrush and was told the shipment didn't come in. Asked front desk why they did not service done kind of complimentary breakfast and she told me if I could afford to stay there I should be able to afford to buy my own breakfast. Rude!!!
Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a wonderful and relaxing hotel. If you enjoy nice facilities, great tennis, swimming, fitness center and incredible views this is the place for you. If you are looking to impress others stay at the Broadmoor. If you want to save a mint and impress yourself on a really nice facility with friendly staff you will love Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The restaurant was fine but was longing for an evening dinner that does not center around the buffet line. The wine list was also limited and took the staff 20 minutes to locate two different wines that were on the list.
Our room, brunch, access, and swimming pool were great. The staff (primarily check in counter) was not friendly, and seemed like I was interrupting something important. Was in an elevator with other staff while they yelled into their phone about something with what they were doing. Really diminished the experience between these two things. The Broadmoor really makes you feel like a valued guest when you are there.
Very nice rooms and the recreation area was wonderful too! Good place to take your family and friends. Loved the spa, lake, golf course and pool! The food was ok but quite high priced for salad bar. Would have been nice to have a place to get a hamburger. Would also have been nice to have a place to get a newspaper or magazine without having to go to the mall.
Quite and clean
Rooms are nice, clean and have great beds Decor in reception area is dated. It makes a poor first impression on the overall quality of this great hotel
Liked everything about this hotel The WIFI could be better and faster.
Our stay here was awesome! The level of hospitality and customer service was phenomenal. We'd like to recognize one person in particular Ms.Zuzan. She ran the free continental breakfast and I was impressed by her attentiveness and friendliness. It's people like her that can make someone's stay better and even just put a smile on your face which I think is a recipe for a good day. We will definitely be staying here again because it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Not a thing was wrong.
We were given a corner room on the top floor. It had all the amenities you could ask for. Luxurious but reasonably priced and right in the heart of the city. Parking was a little odd. You had to park a block away and then when we went to leave, the $1 we were told we would pay was only good until 5:30 am..must've missed the fine print somewhere. So it cost a few more dollars to get out of the lot, mostly just inconvenient.
Best part were the comfort of the beds. Disappointed in the size of the room. For a room with a king size bed it was very small. View was of a brick wall.. Someone also needs to clean the kitchen. We went to the brunch on Mother's Day. I saw the kitchen as we passed to go to the back room where the food was located. If I saw the kitchen before we made plans, we would have never eaten there. Filthy, absolutely filthy. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day...
I loved the bathroom. Very clean place with friendly staff. The large lobby was a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink. Pillows were not very comfortable and the thermostat didn't cool the room down.
Everything was wonderful. The room was charming and so was the hotel itself in general.Folks in Colorado Springs have it good, the hotel has a beautiful views and really cozy beds, friendly staff and great food & drinks.Wonderful in every way. We fell in love with the giant windows too. Can't wait to go back. The parking situation is no big deal it's less than a block away and a dollar after 4pm then it's just a dollar or two extra if you leave after 9:00am.If you don't like that then you should pony up for valet it's very inexpensive if you campers it to places in the French Quarter or something like that.
The bed was amazingly comfortable. There was no refrigerator in our room.
Clean, attractive Expensive with no real extras except WiFi. Parking was in a sketchy garage a block away for $1 or $18 valet. No coffee in the lobby and the coffee maker in our room was broken. No complimentary breakfast. For this price you can get a lot more elsewhere and in a safer location.
The room and beds where very nice and it could not have been more convenient to restaurants and other necessities. The staff was great and I will stay there again. I did not find it sooner
The breakfast..Was good. The hours not so good.
The room was dark barely any light at all I was locked out for almost 45 minutes because the person behind the counter wasn't at his desk like he was supposed to be. I called they never answered so I had to call a different quality Inn in Boulder in order to get a hold of somebody so that they could try to contact the front desk so that I was able to get into my room
The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. When our first room was unacceptable they moved us to another room that was clean enough to get through the night. When we checked into our first room it looked like it had not been cleaned well. We pulled out the sofa bed and there was trash all over and the sheets had not been changed. Breakfast is free but you had better use your discount and go to the Village Inn next door.
Clean room. Clean towels. Quiet. Dated interior. Looks like hasn't been updated since the 90s
Needs more luggage dollies. Needs some updates. Needs better breakfast with real eggs, biscuits and gravy and better saussge.
I liked the workers - very polite and capable Building was old and it showed
Location was great next tomGarden Of the Gods and route 25. Breakfast was very good every morning. Staff was always pleasant. Woman in the room next to me vomiting. Walls so thin you could hear the whole episode.
At check in the staff were very friendly and accommodated our early arrival. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel, our sheets were dirty and stained on both beds, when we requested extra linens they brought them to the door; did not offer to remake beds or apologize. The bathroom had mold growing in the shower and under the sink where we found roaches crawling around in the morning. Our toilet broke in the morning and the maintenance man told us not to use so much toilet paper, when it had not even been used yet. there was a bad smell that lingered in the room and the air conditioner was not consistent; blew hot air then freezing air then hot air again. The pool area was not well monitored and there were multiple people smoking and carrying on until late into the night when the pool was supposed to close at 10 pm. All in all we were very disappointed in what we paid and the quality of the hotel. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's not the Ritz of course, but for the money, it was an excellent value. The breakfast was basic, but good, the room was clean and spacious, location was perfect. I would definitely recommend it and will stay there again. They only had small travel size pillows on the bed, but to be fair, I didn't ask for another, maybe they have full size pillows on request.
i had a great experience with This hotel. It wasn't 5 star, but the service was good and it was just enough :) I could hear a lot of screaming from the pool but that's just of where my room was
Bellhops and Desk Clerks were very professional and provided great service. Nice view of the mountains. Bed was very uncomfortable. Large bathroom with a shower the size of a telephone booth. Showerhead was a joke, a slightly larger version of the kitchen sink sprayer. Poor television reception and on demand not available. Food was over priced and mediocre at best. I've had better stays at budget motels.
I always stay at Marriott. They are clean, friendly, welcoming, proactive, and just plain awesome. Nothing I didn't like.
Great service and location. Has a great view of the Pike's Peak.
The free drinks, food, and popcorn There should be no food allowed in the pool area

Location was great. I liked the 3 free drinks per night with dinner meal. Breakfast was great took. It made a simple and convenient stay. It was a nice hotel but smaller gym then I would have expected.
Great staff. Very clean

Brand new and nice.
Vey clean hotel. My kids absolutely loved the free popcorn!! If there is anything it would have been that the eggs weren't very good but that is just my own personal taste.
Very nice exercise room. Completely empty so I had it all to myself. I was given a handicap room, which I am not. The reservation said nothing about the room being handicap accessible. Called the hotel front desk and they did nothing to fix it.
It is outstanding.Love the Kickback hour. Loved it all.
Very good value for the quality.

Room wasn't ready, bathtub was chipped and peeling. Holes in wash rags and towels. You have to pay for parking.
Good location, friendly staff. Lot of history. 17 bucks a day to park, and they don't comp.
Staff at the front desk welcoming, easy access to the city, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Check in time was too late, asked for earlier checkin, moved to a room with city view instead of mountain view, still billed the same. Coffee maker could not be plugged in from where it was in our room, took some toying with it to figure it out, then it over flowed one of our two cups.
Service from staff was great. Facility needs a light reno or at least a more dedicated manager. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, caulking around the tub was discolored, the closet doors where heavy (think bulletproof) steel (why?), the lamp shades next to the bed where stained with countless dirty fingers (also missing a screw so the shade would just fall off if rattled to much) and the floors need to be shampoo'd. Look I understand this hotel's style is antique, but maintenance on old time-y looks goes a long way and whoever manages it for this particular hotel is dropping the ball. Service was great, but the prices where not. With the cost of the night, valet and breakfast the total bill for a single night will run you $200. Just not worth it for the small unkept rooms and overpriced amenities that should, honestly today, be included. I travel the the springs often and as much as I enjoy the ambiance and location of this hotel, I wont be wasting money here again.
The process of checking in and out was very easy. The rooms were clean and orderly. The front desk staff members were fantastic! I couldn't find a laundry room, some of the staff workers in the restaurant were too vocal about their displeasure with what was going on while at work.
Location The cost. To much for to little.
Facility needs to be updated.
Nothing The room we reserved and paid for was not ready when we got there and we didn't check in until about 4:30. Check in time was 3 pm, so they had plenty of time to get our room ready. They told us it would be another hour before the room would be ready. We had Valentines's dinner plans and needed to get ready so they offered us a different room and offered us a discount. The first room they put us in was literally right across from the elevator and was probably the smallest room I have ever seen. I went back down and they gave us a different room, further away from the elevator but not the corner room we paid for and front desk advised we would be compensated for the difference in rate. The next morning we went to go check out and asked for a receipt showing the difference in room rate and they had no knowledge of that happening and that they couldn't give us a receipt. They said because we booked through someone else instead of them, there was nothing they could do. They basically told us we were out of luck. I don't really care how I book the room, the service and expectation should be the same, especially from a four or five star hotel. We will never stay there again or recommend to anyone.
checking out the cleanliness, lack of maid service, no resturuants near by, the hooka bar next door, the toilet backing up, me plumbing it, drunk guests, loud maids cleaning other rooms at 7am, lack of parking for guests, and as expensive as the good Elegante hotel....need i say more?
Price and all required features
It was in close proximity to my work... everything else was lacking. Lacked parking, funny odors throughout, room was outdated, room had strange odor, breakfast was lacking, won't stay here again.
space, kitchen, location cramped brekfast area
The Full Kitchenette The fact that they did not clean everyday even though I checked on their check in sheet it should be cleaned everyday.
Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and they offer free hot breakfast. Clean, Quiet, and Comfortable
It was reasonably priced and well positioned. Interior was dated. Desk staff was mediocre after hours. Other than that cost to value was good.
the Ten Commandments at front door was neat, did not offend me at all. It was a little loud. Kids running and no supervision of kids exercise room. The Mom was there just no supervision. Staff can't police poor parenting.
An itinerant man was helping himself to the breakfast bar. The smell was awful, and he was coughing sputum on the guests and on the food at the breakfast bar. There was a massive stone tablet of the Ten Commandments at the front entrance. I don't mind a Gideon's bible in the desk drawer, but this was over the top.
