A great escape
Enjoyed the European somewhat exclusive feel of the hotel, , with spacious rooms and a nice design. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Upon check in there was some kind of children's birthday party in which the parents let the children run around yelling in the lobby bar and restaurant. A bit off putting.
Awesome
My family and I couldn't have been happier staying here. The room was great. Fit the 3 of us just fine. We had a king size bed and the staff brought up a folding twin for my daughter. The bathroom was fantastic. Giant deep tub, glass enclosed shower, and a separate room for the toilet. The bar/lounge/library down stairs was very nice. Their breakfast was fine. The staff was top notch. They are incredibly friendly and so willing to help make your stay memorable. They took care of booking tours, recommending restaurants, and booking our limousine back to the airport. The location in old Montreal couldn't have been better. It's on a quiet little street and just a short walk to everywhere. Next time I go back to Montreal I will be staying here for certain.
Absolutely nothing.
Perfectly located in a quiet street between Notre Dame and St Paul, with Metro close by. Welcoming design, relaxed open spaces and beautiful, modern large rooms which celebrate the original building. And truly great staff... Attentive, polite and charming, which meant the one small 'issue' was dealt with gracefully, efficiently and with good humour. This is a wonderful base for a fabulous city. Loved it.
Hmmm, maybe they could improve the wi-fi. But they know that.
The friendliness of the staff
Nothing
Boutique hotel so discrete as to be almost invisible from the street. Minimalist decor. Well positioned for business & site-seeing. Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast delicious but very expensive.
Warning cost of breakfast - our stay was b&b but this is no longer available.
Location was excellent - very quiet - and rooms were well equipped. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Air conditioning was not working properly whilst I was there (heatwave). Rooms are also ill-suited to business trips as no proper desk facilities. Gym a tad on the small side, but there are plenty of outdoor trails within easy reach.
Very knowledgeable staff with excellent suggestion on restaurants and activities....
Food at the hotel....very expensive for what you received and they no longer include buffet breakfast in the hotel stay. Much better food to be found just blocks away!
Front desk & concierge was superb
Could have been more generous with amenities like shower cap. Housekeeping staff did not notice that a previous guest had opened & used the bottle of body lotion provided.
the service was outstanding;, excellent location, great design, very comfortble beds. wish there was a better view.
the view of the parking lot
Everything was good. Room is clean and neat. Breakfast is very good. I have never had that good croissant. Gym has two types of room runner and a set of dumbbell, no muscle training machine, but enough.
There is no coffee or tea set in the room.
The location is excellent. The staff is well trained. The breakfast was very nice.
The interior of this hotel is that of a raped old world classic turned into a minimalist cavern of frigid space. The room was a large void with tall ceilings. The walls are whitewashed sheetrock devoid of any trim. The floors were unfinished concrete. The furniture is out of Ikea. There are no interior finishes - in fact - the elevator lobbies are raw concrete. I know that architects, servicing the needs of developers, are attempting to legitimize this sort of minimalism as a modern style but I see it for what it is - a severe attempt to reduce fixtureing and fitup investement in favor of profit. If I am going to spend $200 a night for a luxurious hotel room, it should have a luxurious interior. I would not want to stay here again.
Very friendly and helpful staff; the design of the hotel
