Pros: The home was lovely and the owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Pros: The location was in beautiful rural surroundings. The staff were very helpful and gave good advice on local points of interest. The garden was so peaceful and gave a good view across the hills in the distance.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful, as was the garden and the views, and not forgetting the cute lambs in the field next door.
Cons: I was looking forward to the free tea and cake on arrival, but we missed out because we arrived after 5.00. The reason I marked Facilities lower was I had my bath, and then my husband had his bath, the time was getting on 11.45, and the catch in the bathroom door broke, and the door wouldn't open, I tried ringing all the numbers provided, and then got dressed and looked around the hotel, no-one was around, so rang the numbers again and this time I had a reply and someone came and rescued him, he had been stuck in there for about 45 minutes.

Pros: Location and gardens wonderful. Staff friendly and food very good
Cons: Bathroom in our particular room not large. Fine for a night or two.

Pros: The spa overlooking the lake is great, hot hot steam, cold cold shower, ice for good hydrotherapy session, lovely changing facilities. Our room was a standard garden room bit very big, huge bathroom it was lovely. The views if the lake are spectacular
Cons: The food was delicious too
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb, caused havoc with wifi and mobile services but hhey...do we need them all the time? Staff were superb and couldn't do enough to help and be of service.
Cons: There could have been a nicer feel to both dining rooms, both were quite barren of the nicer touches. For instance the main restaurant could have benefitted from table clothes at a night time and maybe some candles. even the brasserie could have had something softer at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely stunning hotel from start to finish the stay was great. Lovely bedroom and en-suite with bath looking out over the gardens . The bed was super comfy . Really good variety of good quality food and drinks at the restaurant and bar . The hotel is set in beautiful scenery . Last but definitely not least the staff were really helpful and friendly .

Pros: Pleased with views room food and service .Excellent.
Cons: Not long enough for our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big room with a stunning view. I particularly liked the bar with the pool table that was set slightly back from the hotel giving an extra option rather than just the (albeit very nice) quieter hotel bar. Food and drinks reasonably priced too. Always nice not to get mugged by the prices when at a remote stay!

6.0 Good
Pros: Beds were comfy, and hotel in beautiful setting !
Cons: Beds were comfy. Hotel feels a little neglected ! There were mice in bathroom cupboard ! Not alot of hot water and towel rail did not work. We were very disappointed at the reception we got at breakfast! We arrived at 9 am and were left waiting for someone to set up a table ( we couldn’t sit where it was made up,as this we were told was set for lunchtime) We waited so long for tea, then cups, then cutlery, juice etc. i think while we were eating the staff actually left ! Because we never saw them again ! Reception didn’t act too concerned about hearing about the mice ! Sad because this hotel could be 4 star with a bit of tlc and maintenance !

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was the best we have experienced in any hotel in the UK. The room was well prepared ... the grounds amazing.
Cons: The only down side was that the hotel had a wedding going on which was absolutely fine except that the disco music beat resonated through the walls ... best to pre-warn guests when booking in case that's a problem

6.8 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful landlady. Great food and room comfortable with everything I needed.
Cons: The landlord (I think Rob) was preoccupied with some sort of band rehearsal in the bar which, although it finished before eleven and perhaps one needs to expect some noise if staying in a pub, was extremely loud and not very musical. (Lots of practicing) I was staying for work and had a very early start therefore this affected my sleep significantly.

Pros: En suite room was very nice and comfortable, decent shower, great view from the window of the local castle and moat - free access and good for a walk, easy convenient parking, and two pubs close by serving good food. Good location for driving into Wales and Cheshire.
Cons: Great location other than being next to a busy road, so can be noisy, but that's a chance you take with any B and B.

Pros: A delightful B&B that takes you into the past with style. Great rooms. and facilities and an owner that cares. I was embrace by the past and slept like a log!

Pros: Good food good service... staff brilliant
Cons: The main area of the bedroom was very dated and ready for a facelift... new bathroom was lovely
7.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and tidy! Rooms were large with large en-suite ! Only fault if I have to find one is that is was a bit too warm in the bedrooms.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Sadly the room was dusty and hairs found on the bed and pillows. Despite the heatwave, the bathroom window didn’t open at all and the bedroom window opened only four inches and had to be wedged with a piece of wood which was a big health and safety issue given we were travelling with a little one. The reception staff were lovely and very accommodating but the room was not up to scratch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great. Staff were wonderful. Couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent.
Cons: No!

Pros: The leisure centre is good, the bars, bar staff and choice of drinks were all good. The food was great. The sweet little waitress at breakfast was very attentive and polite.
Cons: Basin plug leaked. Room was noisy as faced the main road and windows were hard to open and room was hot as no air conditioning and the weather was hot and sunny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and nice adjoing bar and spa facilities.
Cons: Room was very warm, but this was down to the weather. Appreciate it would not be cost effective to have air-con installed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
7.0 Good
Pros: Traditional hotel. Comfortable room. Friendly check-in staff
Cons: 1. We've had better hotel breakfasts. 2. No lift and steep, narrow stairs,(although our bags were taken up/down to our room). 3. Our room overlooked the green - this was good for the view but bad as it meant we had the noise of a reception, incd the singer, until 1am. This was made worse by fact we had to have windows open as it was a hot night and room doesn't have AC.
