Location was good.
Two staffers lied about our ability to park in front of the hotel only briefly.until 6 pm when parking was allowed on the street the whole weekend. We had tipped the valet for telling us she'd watch the car until then. She went on break and we got a $150 ticket. The manager didn't believe us when we told him what had happened and backed his staff instead. We were the big losers and the evening there cost us almost double what we thought we'd spend. He refused to comp us anything, which I thought he should have and the valet never even felt bad about keeping the $10 tip we'd given her for keeping an eye on the car. Bad people---all about the money, not about pleasing their guests. We were very disappointed to go up the the roof garden bar at 10 pm on a Friday night to find it closed. This feature was one of reasons we booked this hotel to begin with as it is mentioned on your website.
We had room only so didn't try the food. The second night when we got back to the hotel there were people doing open mike, the room was full and buzzing. It was very good and not something we were expecting.
The room was quite small but we were staying in a good location and in the centre of Manhattan so not too important for the cost.
Everything was great, staff were very friendly, rooms were super clean and location is close to metro stations and a lot of popular sights.
Fabulous personnel and very helpful and friendly - very comfortable bed !
No view from rooms except from s tiny window looking out onto the stairwell makes the rooms very dark... the laundry service is not very good at all ! Nothing was replaced in the mini bar service after you had eaten/drunk... The loud music on Wednesday and Friday from the roof top party is very off putting
Wondrous staff who took a white glove approach to any questions or needs.
