Pros: The beds and bed linen are supremely comfortable and luxurious. Lots of space in the room, with a study area included.
Cons: The price for coffee alone in the morning is £4.50.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities friendly helpful staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room vey well appointed, pillows very comf.
Cons: View of roof tops very uninteresting. Road noise very intrusive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Only stayed for one night
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Four poster bedroom was gorgeous.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike everything was perfect.
6.8 Good
Pros: The spa and wellness centre was lovely especially since the pool doesn't close until 9pm so was quiet even on a Friday. The room was comfortable and airy with great facilities. No road noise when the windows were closed.
Cons: Unfortunately, upon check-in we were advised that the restaurant did not close until 9.30pm. After a 3hour journey from Bournemouth we made the most of relaxing in the spa until it closed at 9pm upon which time we went to the restaurant for dinner shortly after. There were still guests eating their meals but were told by the staff that the kitchen was closed and we could only have a sandwich. We explained that there had clearly been a miscommunication however the member of staff was neither apologetic or helpful so in the end we had to drive out and find alternative arrangements. This dampened the experience as we did not expect to have to be eating at Frankie and Bennies after booking a plush spa hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds extremely comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely gardens to rear.
Cons: Smoking area outside main entrance with cigarette butts near deckchairs.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Didn’t book breakfast at time of booking as we wanted to decide on the day. Turned out to be quite pricey when we did decide to eat there (£15.95)Do it at time of booking is my advice! It was nothing special but service was good.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy, breakfast was pretty good. Night porter was nice - good that he let us get a bootle of wine and have an after-hours drink before we all went to bed.
Cons: We had real trouble ordering/waiting for a taxi to a nearby wedding reception - multiple chase up calls and waiting for about 45 minutes. Not your staff’s fault but maybe think about using a different company. Coffee wasn’t great. Microfibre pillow (I have allergies) was soft and lumpy. Scrambled eggs (even though done fresh) were over cooked.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant Manager, Marco was outstanding! Really made my partner's birthday very special!
Cons: The stay and food was outstanding, if I had to make one small criticism it would be the Sirloin Steak in the main meal. Whilst it was cooked to perfection the quality of the steak itself wasn't as lean as it could have been. But this is just a minor point on what was an outstanding meal with fantastic service from Marco and his team. Thank you!

5.7 Okay
Pros: Clean, friendly staff
Cons: I wanted to watch a programme on itv. The TV reception/signal was terrible could not watch without interference throughout, asked staff to address the problem, to which they fiddled around with the tv, said it should be better and left, it was exactly the same problem. Noise/loud music from a nearby venue from 8pm till late approx 12, glad i had my earplugs.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant facitles and free car park
Cons: Code on door key fob said y.... but it's x
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly chatty helpful staff
Cons: Hard bed. Number 15 room which was a one off make shift room and not what I expected for £85. One window didn’t have a curtain. Breakfast was poor selection and instant coffee £6.50 too expensive for what you got.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely friendly and helpful you really could not ask for more at 45 a night genuinely impressed
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. It was a very hot night so the cooling fans were well received.
Cons: Between making the booking and the day of arrival the company had decided to remove the breakfast option. The nearest breakfast option was the pub across the road, which after paying them a visit, left a lot to be desired. The next nearest option is MacDonalds on the A14! It was a bit unusual to have to go back out of reception, up the street and in through the Tapas bar to get to the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The food in the tapas bar was really good, the room decor was to a good standard and the bathroom seemed virtually new.
Cons: The stairs to the rooms are quite steep. I would have liked curtains in the room in addition to the slatted blind, as it would improve the darkening of the room. Not a serious problem though because it was not excessively light outside.
7.0 Good
Pros: Receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. Bathroom was well fitted with a powerful shower and was clean. Bedroom though small was clean.
Cons: There was no reading or bedside lamp in the bedroom. No desk, even a small one. No hooks dressing gown etc on the en-suite door. Towels were really old and thin. Noisy in the evening as room looked out over a pub garden.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service from receptionist, Kase. Lovely room, clean and bed was huge. Plenty of parking, located close to A43 so great for commuting.
Cons: Tea and coffee at breakfast could have been nicer - instant coffee granules from a caddy and tea bags with hot water from a conference dispenser in tiny cups not ideal for me trying to wake up!!
5.8 Okay
Cons: I booked on behalf of relatives so cannot complete the survey. What I didn't like was the fact that having paid for breakfasts for my two guests they were given vouchers and directed to a cafe of dubious quality three or four doors away from the hotel. One of my guests was in her eighties and had to endure heavy rain to get breakfast. Not good enough.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: We won’t stay there again. Our positive was great water pressure.
Cons: The price for such a basic room the dirty towels the wet bedroom floor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff excellent owner very nice
Cons: Our room did not get cleaned had to go to reception to ask about room being cleaned reception girl was excellent got me clean towels coffee teabags and sugar even offered to make our bed back up but after a long hard day working just wanted to relax
7.5 Good
Pros: Once you accept the limitations of the way that the hotel is run then it is a good hotel, they don't have a breakfast room or a dining room for evening meals but the room and shower were as good as many other hotels in the area.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the quiet but central location. My room was exactly as hoped; clean, functional, good light and secure. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast simply AMAZING.
Cons: Well, i know it's a free add-on but the wi-fi; wow, very slow and extremely intermittent. A relatively cheap upgrade would make a huge difference, particularly to international users who may wish to Skype or perform online banking.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, well presented room in central village location. Easy access and good off-road parking and the breakfasts - just amazingly good. All staff friendly and willing to assist when needed - a perfect short-stay venue.
Cons: The good definitely outweighed the less-good and i am being slightly picky but here goes. Personally i'd upgrade room windows i.e. double-glazed to limit patron noise. Also, perhaps provide a 'Guests Only' wi-fi modem as the one available for general public was heavily used and consequently slow/intermittent. But these are minor points and did not affect overall enjoyment of my stay
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: All good

Green Dragon - Kettering - Restaurant
9
8.0 Excellent (195 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Kettering, The Green Dragon is a 1-minute drive from Fermyn Woods Country Park and 7 minutes from Corby Heritage Centre.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, very friendly, quiet.
Cons: Would have been nice to have have the use of a bed sheet as well as the duvet as it was a very hot night.
5.5 Okay
Pros: We booked room months ago, apparently its been taken over, the new owners didn't have my booking and were very unhelpful and I had to pay again. A young girl was running the place who didn't know anything. Customer service sadly lacking
Cons: TV didn't work, poor signal as picture/sound cutting out/unwatchable. Shower control would only stay on red hot, couldn't alter
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff couldn’t be any nicer , very accommodating . Had great service . Although it’s above a pub there wasn’t much noise from downstairs. They had a small kitchen that we could use which was really handy with us having kids with us . Also was equipped with hair dryer , iron and iron board . Had a great experience and will definitely be back .
5.0 Okay
Pros: Show was good.
Cons: Small beds, small room, basic breakfast.
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice hotel and a nice room
Cons: Pub was shut which we didn’t realise, not much around either so you’re pretty much stuck.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stopped for one night as I was working at an event at the castle. When I got shown to my room I was pleasantly surprised. Warm cosy and beautifully decorated. I was orginally planning to take my rotty and there would have also been plenty room for him too. Was a lovely place and if I do that event again next year I will try to rebook.
Cons: Had to leave my Key in the room when I left as didn't know the procedure to check out. It was very early and everywhere was shut up. Hope they found It. Xx
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good size bedroom and en-suite, use of the shared kitchen was a bonus
Cons: The only slight issue was a buzzing noise coming from the electric fuse box / inlet. Nothing a set of ear plugs didn’t sort out though.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room and en-suite were clean. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room but we had use use of a kitchenette which had a kettle, toaster and microwave in so that was ok. The pub is in a lovely, quiet village location.
Cons: When we booked in May, there was no mention that the kitchen was closed (and had been since Feb) - we were told the other pub in the village served food but when we asked on Friday night, we were told they weren’t serving food until next week! We found a pub in Cottingham (Royal George) that did lovely evening meals and JD’s Breakfast House in Weldon was a great find for breakfast!
5.0 Okay
Cons: Staff not very helpful. No advice how to check out so had to post keys Would have liked kettle in room
5.0 Okay
Pros: Pub noisy Friday night but was closed early Saturday they said there was a restaurant but no food
Cons: There seemed to be no staff about in the day or most nights.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money, staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. We had a triple room that was well appointed and ideal for our purpose. The event we were attending was in a remote location so this hotel was our nearest option.
Cons: Our trip was business related so the hotel was fine for our needs. It's a little dated but we weren't bothered. So there wasn't anything in particular we didn't like.
