The New York Hotels Hotel Stanford is a boutique hotel in the heart of Manhattan. There are 124 non-smoking, air-conditioned guestrooms in this hotel which is less than ten miles from both Teterboro Airport and La Guardia Airport. Guests will be roomed a little more than 1,000 feet from Macy’s, the Empire State Building, and Herald Square.

The guestrooms and suites are created to meet the needs of both leisure and business travelers. The rooms offer contemporary comfort and classic design. Rooms range from economic single and double rooms to standard twin, queen, double-double, and king rooms. Junior and executive suites are also available for guests who require extra space.

Complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access is provided along with hairdryers and ironing supplies in every room. There is same-day laundry and dry cleaning available. Rooms come with compact refrigerators, 42” plasma televisions with cable channels, and in-room safe. The toiletries in the private bathroom are Bath & Body Works products with slippers and toothbrushes available on request.

The signature 1986 Est. Wine Bar & Lounge is on site as is the West Whiskey Lounge and East Sake Bar. Guests can dine and enjoy beverages at their leisure throughout the day. Other restaurants in the area include Keens Steakhouse, Royal 35 Steakhouse, Izakaya Mew, and Her Name is Han.

Cons (-) Not a lot of choices for breakfast. Just cereal, milk, juice,. And some bread. Not enough elevators

Pros (+) Location, staff, comfortable and spacious room, great hot water and pressure We were there on a busy holiday weekend and the staff could not have been more accommodating amidst the full house.
Cons (-) Only negative was very gross dirty old carpet, which psychologically detracted from the cleanliness otherwise. If they replaced the carpets or put noncarpet flooring in instead, I would rate this hotel excellent. We loved the neighborhood, the location, the staff, and the reasonable price.

Pros (+) I like that it is fairly affordable for being in the city.
Cons (-) I think the staff isn't very friendly. They seem to be managed by someone who makes them very unhappy and pushes them to not focus on courtesy and service but rather the bottom line, money.

Pros (+) Good location, room was available on time, staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good option for us to have a visit to the city at a reasonable cost. No complaints.
Cons (-) The place is under construction, which just meant the staff seemed somewhat confused at times. We did not have any issue with construction noise (stayed on the weekend) or any thing else negative.

Pros (+) Location is great. Value for the money was good. Bathroom was spacious.
Cons (-) Blankets were dirty. Found hairs on the blankets and in the sheets, suggesting they were not washed before our arrival. One elevator only fitting 8 people is a little crazy for such a large hotel.
