Would like to congratulate the welcome by the receptionist and the help we were offered

Staff were very helpful and pleasant - particularly the bar person who scoured the kitchens to find me a newspaper!

Checking in - very poor lighting over desk made it difficult - receptionist very good but I do think you need to review the level of lighting she is working with

Room Great and good location. A bit noisy if on front as lots of Pubs/Clubs oposite. Staff and owners fantastic nothing too much trouble. Would definatley stay again

the hotel had been subject to a facelift which has made it more comfortable for visitors

The buffet type breakfast had run out of food, we were told more was being cooked, but when it came there was still not enough food for the amount of people waiting, we ended up with half a breakfast.

Helpfull and friendly staff. Easy access and parking. Was given a quiet room with a stunning sea view.

Public areas have been nicely refurbished but corridors and rooms in main hotel need a lot of work to come up to the same standard.

what didn't I like ? all round excellence

towels a bit on the small, thin side but this is a very minor thing

The room was very clean. The staff were polite. The breakfast was excellent

I had an attic room. It was quiet but the ceiling was very low. I bumped my head twice

My husband and I found the hotel to be nice. Very near the beach which was a nice surprise. Breafast was very good, lovely to have fresh fruit in the morning.

The only bad point that we could find was the bath when you pulled the plug out the water came up the shower plug and it smelt awful for quite a while.

The room was very comfortable also the beds. The breakfast was wonderful, if we stayed any longer would definitly had to refuse and had much smaller portions.

staff were really nice, very accommodating and helpful, even came to collect me from my room to let me know my meal was ready. Couldnt fault the service or the friendliness.

Staff were very pleasant, and hotel was good value for money.

My wife and I like both its location for both a nights relaxation before flying and for a city break.

convenience to airport

There is no longer a courtesy bus and the paths from airport to hotel were totally uncleared of snow. We abandoned trolley in snow and then I fell trying to drag cases through deep snow in the dark. Nearby Premier Inn had clear pathways.Have used Brittannia hotel many times but not again
