This Hampton Inn in Perry is a dated property that still fits the bill as a reasonably priced, comfortable, friendly place in a great location just off I-75. Some of the downsides: older decor and fixtures including things like grossly rusted shower pipe connectors, wall edges and corners that were worn and in need of paint, and older carpeting in places. Pros (+) Hotel was very clean and recently updated. Staff very friendly and great continental breakfast. Close to the interstate with several restaurants nearby.

Pros (+) The location was convenient because it was close to the highway. The location was secure because it was neighbor to another hotel and well lit. Staff, decor, and everything not facilities related is top notch and typical of Hilton.
Cons (-) The facility however is another story. Room was small and not well lit. The facility is dated, but Hilton tried to update it. Thus the title "Fresh lipstick on an old broad..". This hotel could use a complete remodel, not just an update or "renovation". Still great value for the money though.
