Hotel is in an isolated part of Portland. Virtually no amenities in the area. No drugstores, markets, restaurants in the immediate are. High rise condos and the major medical center. My room was large but not well laid out. Free breakfast was ok but the staff had trouble keeping up with the flow of. guests. Pros (+) Design and atmosphere. TVs were ridiculously huge for a hotel room. Views were outstanding.
Cons (-) Restaurant was great but pricey and selection was limited.

Pros (+) I was almost $190 + taxes so not a margin, but like most things - you get what you pay for. It is a top-shelf business-type hotel but would be comfy for family or vacate travel too.

Pros (+) Loved the extra space that the room layout provided. Easily accessible at all hours and very friendly staff. The upgrades to the lobby that are currently being worked on should help improve the overall feel. Complimentary breakfast was good too.
Cons (-) Not that these minuses ruined the experience at all, but I would love to see the breakfast hours extended from 9am to 10am. Also, the bath towels were pretty rough on the skin. I ended up having to pat dry myself.

Pros (+) Excellent and spacious room. Small kitchenette with the basics. Across from a Streetcar stop to get into downtown or anywhere. Good breakfast and a nice open inviting lobby.

Pros (+) The room was quite large and had a small kitchen. The bedding and furniture was looked good. The bathroom had a beautiful walk in shower with a rain shower head. Th staff were very nice and friendly.
Cons (-) The room service was quite late everyday.
