This hotel is in the heart of downtown, close to the water. We loved it. The price was competetive, the staff was kind. The area has some homeless nearby, but also the rest of the city. It's a city, you get both the cool and the rough of that. Highly recommend.

Pros (+) The customer service here is everything I was so impressed I love how kind the staff is!!
Cons (-) It was very loud this place isn’t for light/medium sleepers I had a conversation with the stranger next to my room because we could both hear each other and the windows Are super thin

Pros (+) The staff were so friendly, and the location was perfect for exploring Portland. The bed was very comfortable, and the room service breakfast was great. Plus, the complimentary pineapple water and cupcakes were fantastic!

Cons (-) Paper thin walls. I could have joined in the neighbors' conversation. Long line when checking in (at 4 pm) and rooms still weren't ready.

Pros (+) Staff was great. Super comfortable bed and room.
Cons (-) Parking on site is $25 charge per day, this was not included in the cost of the room. The bathroom is also an odd design, the shower does not have a door or curtain.

Pros (+) Room was comfortable and clean, restaurant was good, and location was extremely convenient to exploring downtown Portland.
Cons (-) There is NO soundproofing in this hotel, so bring earplugs (or get some from the front desk). You will hear street noise, river noise, train noise, and TONS of noise from other guests.

Pros (+) Very fun and unique place. Great staff. Free bicycles and shuttle services for guests. Complimentary tea and coffee in your room. Located near several bars and restaurants. Will be back.
Cons (-) One of the door guys was a little rude. He was short in his responses and seemed bothered by simple questions. Not really a big deal though. Didn't take away at all from my great experience at the hotel. Maybe he was just having a bad day .
