Pros: Everything about this place was great - location is close to the beach and all restaurants, shops, bars you'd want to check out. The innkeeper, Ariel, is an amazing host and really gets things done in terms of maintaining the rooms and booking excursions. The inn rooms are spacious and I will definitely return. Overall great stay, highly recommend.
Cons: shower not enough pressure, oh well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a 5 min walk to the beach (not right on the beach but close enough), the accommodations were lovely (the kitchen was great!), and the location can not be beaten. It is right next to luxury hotels that are $500-$1,000 per night. This place was well worth the price. Ariel was very helpful and welcoming.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a little thing of detergent for the washer.
West Bay Club - Providenciales - Building
8.9 Excellent (149 reviews)
Overview Reviews
There are many great destinations in the Caribbean that feature white sand beaches and a water so blue that it couldn’t possibly be real. Some famous destinations include the Bahamas or Cancun, but perhaps one of the most underrated locations is the Turks and Caicos. This small archipelago is located between the Bahamas and the island of Hispaniola. The beaches are glorious and uncrowded while the charm of the islands is on full display. Staying at the West Bay Club gives you an ideal space for a Caribbean vacation. The West Bay Club is located on beautiful white sand beaches with views that are lacking in the commercialization of other resorts. It’s just you, the sand, and the ocean from the window of your suite. As a true luxury experience, the team at the hotel is dedicated with providing personalized experiences. Your suite isn’t just a suite, it’s tailored to meet your expectations. Whatever activities are on your agenda, the team at the hotel makes sure that they don’t just happen, but that they exceed your dreams. With a spa and a bar/lounge, there are great ways to relax. One of the best things about the Turks and Caicos is the laid-back atmosphere. If you venture to nearby locations for food or drinks, you’ll notice that the locals are friendly and extend the warmth associated with the islands. The food is local and authentic, including some of the best seafood found anywhere in the world. The bottom line is this island chain gives travelers everything they could ask for. Visiting the West Bay Club is a great way to escape it all, especially if you’re coming from a northern winter.

7.1 Good
Cons: The staff was very unfriendly.
4.0 Okay
Cons: When our flight was cancelled due to Hurricane Erica - Royal West Indies Resort management refused to cancel or reschedule our stay UNLESS we book and PAY for a new stay no later than 2 weeks after the original booking. Only then would they refund the original booking. Considering there were no flight/ schedules available at that time and managements un trust worthiness. This was a completely unreasonable offer. Honestly, I have never experienced such sub standard or greedy management in my life.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was the best part. There was a little shady spot for when it was too hot to be in the sun. It was nice and big and our daughter loved it so much!
Cons: One worker at the towel hut was rude. Limited the number of towels I could take. Ridiculous. The towels are small so 2 per adult and 1 for my toddler didn't seem like I was overdoing it. One towel only covered half the chair.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Overall we were impressed with the Royal West Indies hotel. The rooms feature full kitchen. We had a king bed and a sofa pullout bed both of which were very comfortable. Each apartment features a patio with seating. TVs with cable were available in the living room and the bedroom. It was incredibly spacious -- much more room than we were expecting for a group of 4. They have bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and more for your enjoyment which are all included you just have to sign up for them. The location is prime -- right on the beach in grace bay and walking distance to the grocery store and prime shopping/downtime area. There is also a happy hour at the restaurant from 5-7pm with half-priced drinks. The food was good and not as expensive as most places in Turks and Caicos. Multiple pools and a hot tub were available on site. Would definitely stay here again. Staff were kind and excellent in their customer service.
Cons: Service can be incredibly slow. Our room was often not cleaned until after 3 in the afternoon though the cleaning staff was nice. Towels sometimes weren't available for the beach in the middle of the day. Despite those small things the staff was very friendly and responsive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: great location, good service
4.0 Okay
Pros: Hi We stayed in RWI resort for three nights and for one night there was no water supply in bathroom and kitchen tap. It was the most embarrassing night during our stay. We did snorkeling and we're at beach whole day in sun and by the time we came home to refresh there was no water.
Cons: Couldnt provide us water to shower or drink for 14hrs.
9.7 Excellent
Cons: Overpriced food
4.5 Okay
Pros: Grounds / landscaping was good. Access to private beach was good. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful (Y-Jay in particular!)
Cons: There was no internet / wifi during our entire stay. We paid nearly $700 a night and internet was advertised as basic service. The Staff told us the whole island was affected. Not true. Wherever else we went had internet. Worse even, we found a roach in our room. The person who was sent over to kill the roach tried to tell us that it was because we left our room door open. Not so. We pointed out to him the gap between the door and the floor when the door closed which creates a natural opening for critters to enter rooms. I would never go back here. VERY poor overall service for the price we paid.
7.7 Good
Pros: Absolutely beautiful setting it's hard to beat the private beach in front of the hotel.
Cons: I think the staff could use a couple lessons in customer service, it often feels like they were troubled by simple requests.

8.6 Excellent
Pros: The room has everything for you. Small kitchen , patio and even washer and dryer.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: My brother got married on a nearby all inclusive megaplex. That's a) not our style and b) not our budget. The Sands is very comfortable, very friendly, very professional, and down right lovely. My brother said his resort was too much like Disneyland. A 5 minute bike ride to nearby shopping area, we got simple groceries each day, and patronized local businesses. Make sure your trip includes a Thursday pm so you can go to the Fish Fry and hang with the locals. Highly highly highly recommend the conch chowder and pork stew (2 different things) at nearby grocery. Bikes were great! Rode all over the place.
Cons: The resort was fantastic. We loved picking staff for local places to go. TCI, in general, food is expensive (alas we still saved baucoup $$ on this resort). Saw some nasty American tourists. Don't be like them. You're on vacay. Relax for God's sakes.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet w/variety of age groups. Beautiful beach. Great water. Conch dive was fun. Nor as expensive as I thought it was gonna be. Are out for dinner in at other meals.
Cons: Snorkel is far better at Cozumel. At least where they took us. Beach and pool service not great if you are wanting to drink a lot. Plenty if chairs. Umbrellas. Chk your bill one girl at the restaraunt tried to dbl. chrg us. I had a feeling as there was a mess up and they fixed it without probl. The guys were better and more friendly than the women.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here prior to our wedding in T&C and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Upon knowing that we were getting married they sent a bottle of champagne to our room and did everything they could to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: We received a free upgrade to a one bedroom right next to the pool. Hemingways restaurant was also great. Delicious fish and chips. The beach was awesome and never too crowded. We could always find a hut and chairs.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The beach
Cons: There were a lot of cockaroches in the hotel room ! And you can hear people from the room next to you very clearly
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Water Sports Equipment included in the cost of the room. Our room had a sitting area, kitchenette which were excellent bonuses. Pool steps from our door. Plenty of shade to ovoid long periods in direct sunlight.
Cons: If I mentioned anything, it would only be picky. Nothing to not like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location.... it is situated on a relatively quiet section of gorgeous Grace Bay Beach. Since there is not a developed property on either side of the resort it doesn't feel crowded and it feels isolated in a good way. The palapas and beach staff are wonderful. The hobie cats and water boards are included and easily accessible. Our studio had a small kitchenette, which was nice. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Our second floor room had a view of the ocean, which was beautiful. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and very helpful. Hemingways restaurant was very convenient as it was right on the edge of the beach. You could sit in the sun on the deck or under a covered area. The food was always delicious so we had breakfast daily and even ordered lunch on the beach. There were two weddings over the weekend but the guests never took over the resort. The pool closest to the beach was lovely and a nice spot to sit at the end of the day. Overall, we thought it was terrific and had a lovely visit. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would come again with our children on another visit. Great spot for a couple to get away.

Pros: the vast number of different things to do for the children such as water slides for the kids, xbox, drop off camp, ice cream/ cotton candy, arts and crafts, ping pong tables etc... the food was better than i expected at an all inclusive. 16 different restaurants to choose from, from beach side to restaurant setting. Unlimited drinks were very nice. i was very pleased with the whole place.
Cons: I was a bit disappointed with my rooms. When first arrived they said Kayak (where i booked) did not let them know i booked a luxury king walkout and instead put me in a room that was two double beds. I had to show proof and was then put into the correct room the next night. the beds were hard as a rock -that needs to be changed. Pillows were too soft, i found a roach in my room and my room was so humid cus my a/c wasnt working. housekeeping was quick to fix my a/c and sprayed my room with bug spray. because its access to the outside, there were many mosquitos which kept me awake most of the night.

Pros: I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought this place might be too good to be true, but I am so beyond happy that we decided to stay at One On Marlin during our trip to Turks and Caicos. Even prior to our arrival, we received a call from Chris, the Butelier, offering shuttle service from the airport. We had already rented a car (definitely recommend it!) and so he promptly sent over directions to the hotel instead. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a drink. We were then shown the room which was everything we could have hoped for with a kitchenette, full bathroom and TONS of storage. Each day we would come home to fresh towels for showering and for the beach. The rooms also come with a cooler and chairs for the beach. There is a light breakfast served each morning with a member of the staff present to help you select your activities for the day or to offer advice on restaurants/places to visit. Every place Chris recommended we visit was excellent! We cannot wait to return to One On Marlin for our next visit. We would highly recommend!
Cons: Random but the door to the bathroom was only effective in hiding the person using the bathroom from your eyes, not your ears.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really loved the Regent Grand. The staff was really friendly, the ground are extremely well taken care of. The pool was gorgeous and kept at a pleasant 85F. Perfect proximity to the beach, even more perfect location in town. Lots of shops and restaurants to walk to. Most of the other hotels aren't in that little downtown stretch and are off on their lonesome in a less developed part of town. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would reccomend to everyone we know.
Cons: The pool bar bites are pricey, all the food on the island is pricey. Recommend a quick trip to the grocery store to grab some snacks to store in your room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They were very attentive and could answer any of our questions as first-time visitors. We would definitely go back to the Regent Grand.
Cons: The on-site restaurant had a limited breakfast menu, but the wait staff was friendly.
