Pros: Very friendly people, good breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with very personal service including eggs and coffee made according to your request. Personell was very nice and hotel was right off of the main town square. Beautiful setting in the Ahr valley.
Cons: I wish we could have gotten 1 family room. Instead we ended up with 2 rooms for a family of five (kids 7, 5, and 2). The rooms were very large and we could have easily fit into 1 room with 2 cots set up since our 2 year old was in a travel crib. I booked according to the recommendation from booking.com that we would need 2 rooms, but I wish I would have checked directly with the hotel first. They probably would have accomodated us.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a very warm, yet professional person, who greets every guest with a handshake. She was present during the breakfast time to make sure everything is OK. The hotel is tip top clean, beds are very comfy, rooms cosy. Breakfast was very rich as for options. Very good quality food - vegetables, fruit, pastry, different kinds of hams and salami, fresh orange juice. The staff was checking if everybody has what they need and refilling the platters all the time.
Cons: I cannot think of one thing we did not like. The only recommendation might be a hairdryer in the bathroom, but that is only something extra I would appreciate.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place, nice family run hotel!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: + Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is a very nice quiet town with historical walled keep still intact. + Hotel Aurora is a historical building with rich art nouveau decorations. + It is staffed and managed by members of the family that originally owned the hotel for more than 100 years, who are all very nice people. + It has a very good own cuisine in their restaurant. + Our rooms at the top floor had an amazing view over the town and wine yards. + There's a warm indoor pool, bubble bath and sauna.
Cons: - The room doors are made of very light wood and provide barely any soundproofing for the room. Moreover, the locks on these doors are mechanical and open with very loud clicking sound. You can literally hear a door opening in a room across the corridor.

Hotel is a bit impersonal, but restaurant on the other hand very charming with a good and varied wine selection and proper advise from head waiter. Push out the boat - about 80 Euros plus for a fantastic Spaetburgunder (the local Pinot Noir) from across the street. Breakfast delicious and could be taken in the garden as well.

Pros: Reception was excellent. Service and smile from Cindy were amazing. She is the gem of this establishment. Luke on reception also a warm and friendly personality. Perfect hotel except for the breakfast which for German standards is somewhat limited. Young waitress on breakfast is obviously not a morning person. Marks out of 10 from our party of 10 is a 9+ for the hotel and 10 for Cindy & Luke.
Cons: Breakfast is not one of the better ones. Somewhat limited and coffee is not on a top-up basis.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Opened breakfast half hour ahead of schedule for us and made lunchboxes!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel, on the banks of the Rhine, was idyllic and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a cold drink, watching the barges on the water. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and are a great asset to the hotel. Our rooms were on the top floor and though fairly basic, they were clean and comfortable. There was a lot of choice at the wonderful breakfast buffet and plenty of good coffee. We also had a delicious dinner in the restaurant one night. All in all, this is a great, well-run and very good-value hotel.
Cons: We managed to pick a few days for our stay when the temperatures were at a record high, so our rooms were extremely hot. The staff kindly found us a fan. Unfortunately the workers on the noisy building site next door started early!

Pros: The spa treatment was wonderful and the food in the restaurant is excellent.
Cons: The room was a bit disappointing (we stayed at the green mini suite). The hotel is located in a really small place, so unless you have a car or are ready to hike, you better be prepared to spend your time enjoying the wonderful spa treatments.

5.0 Okay
Pros: We booked this hotel as we wanted to indulge in one night of luxery at the end of a 2 week driving holiday. We were a little underwhelmed by the exterior but the decor inside is lovely and very modern. We got a wellness suite, the room was absolutely fabulous. Huge bathroom with mood lighting, big comfy bed etc. But sadly that's where the positives ended.
Cons: We went to use the wellness facilities pool etc. The pool was absolutely freezing, there were no staff around the spa, pool or sauna area either and everything is in German. We got changed and headed down for dinner at 20:15. (we were told at check in Food until 2130 and no mention of needing to book). When we arrived the restaurant was closed for the evening, we were told serving was finished and they had begun setting up for breakfast. We tried to see about eating there, and the waiter went to speak to someone. After 15 minutes waiting he came back with a menu and said he could serve us and removed the breakfast setting off one table. We looked at the menu which had about 10-12 dishes in total. Very unsatisfactory for a 4 star hotel! We had no confidence in the place so we left and went to a take away instead. Breakfast was OK for me but my partner could not eat much as there was hardly any plain food. Everything had herbs or fillings etc. OK for me as I like that but no options to cater for others. We complained to management on checking out. They advised that they were away the previous day and that absolutely the restaurant should be open til 10pm. As for the pool they said they can't make it any warmer or the air temperature gets too hot. I can't understand why they market themselves as a wellness Centre with a knowingly cold pool. The manager explained most of their guests speak German and it is common for there to be no staff in the wellness area unless you are getting a treatment. We paid €219 and there was no offer of a discount. I would not recommend this as a place of luxery and relaxation. Staff definitely need to be more helpful. They could learn a lot from Irish hospitality.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly staff, nice spa area and nice environment
Cons: The room was much smaller than expected and the concrete support beam by the door was impractical. Furthermore the bed had 2 mattresses and 2 relatively small duvets. For 2 tall people that was a bit unhandy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and buffet, proper indoor pool and a finnish sauna.
Cons: Hammam was never turned on, we couldn’t really use it. The area around the hotel is very quiet, there is literally nothing to do.

Cons: Nothing not to like in this place

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, Location is great, Staff is very helpful
Cons: The cleanliness of the room could be much much better. We have stayed for 3 nights, and not a single time the carpets had been hoovered, nor have the soaps been re-filled. Moving one of the coaches, brings a lot of dirt and dust to the surface. Rooms definitely need to undergo a professional cleaning session.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet Good breakfast
Cons: Parking a bit far away
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful and the breakfast on Sunday was very nice, both in terms of the seating/ location as well as the food. The room is large and clean and has a nice view. This is a classic hotel with an historic feel.
Cons: Currently the spa and pool are not available, although there is still a sauna in the hotel, and they do offer a voucher for the pool and spa next door.

Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good sized comfortable room with ac/heating, very clean, nice and quiet, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast buffet, excellent evening buffet, location, mostly cheerful and helpful staff.
Cons: Expensive parking whether outside the hotel or in the local multi-storey car-park (13 Euros a day but no mention of cost on Booking.com and, despite ticking the parking request option, this hotel doesn't reserve spaces) - these are Booking.com failings rather than the hotel's. Expensive drinks in the restaurant (for example, 7.5 Euros for a bottle of water).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked very much the location and the comfort of the hotel, the nice indoor swimming pool and the delicious and various breakfast!
Cons: Excellent stay!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was very peaceful, easy parking (if you pre-book your slot), good view from hotel
Cons: Wasn't informed about breakfast, so we missed it until checkout day when they charged us for it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is excellent - a very "old-school" luxury hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well to provide a cool room. The location in the town is perfect and it has an air of luxury that you don't get in many hotels these days.
Cons: There is limited parking - which usually doesn't bother me as I travel by motorcycle and can put it on a little piece of pavement at one end of the car park. Ive done this many years as the first time i stayed there the manager told me to put it there. Ive done so ever since, however, this year the hotel saw fit to charge me for a parking space, which leaves a bitter taste. There are very few parking spaces by the way. Im not sure i should have paid when i wasn't really taking up a parking space.
10.0 Excellent

5.8 Okay

Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located and very good garaging for our tandem; good restaurants close by.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine and the room was clean but at the end of the day this is a three star hotel with no pretensions to be anything other than that. It's fine but not great.
Cons: The room was warm but with the window open you could hear trains passing at regular intervals through the night. Our "garden view" room looked over what was effectively a car park.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice and the bathroom was small but very nicely updated. The hotel has been updated inside as well. Just need new carpet and decor in room.
Cons: The parking lot and smoking area right outside window. Carpet in room needs to be updated.
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Wonderful host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel St Pierre is less than an hour on a direct train from Cologne Bonn Airport. Situated in a beautiful part of the country only a hop, skip and a jump from the Rhine, popular with walkers. Stayed four nights. I can't praise the staff / owners highly enough. Markus was the perfect host and Jenny went above and beyond when my 7 year old daughter got a fever... I was on my own in the area to visit my son who had been airlifted to hospital in Neuwied after an accident.. She got me paracetamol for the wee one and helped me contact the hospital to let intensive care know that my son may have been exposed to something. I have never been in Germany before, and finding this hotel was a godsend. I fell in love with this part of the world. I hope to return under better circumstances and would definitely choose to stay here. I highly recommend breakfast. Oh, and the Reisling from the minibar is lovely. The Hotel couldn't have been cleaner, it's modern, room service was regular and attentive, and being able to step out the door and be on the banks of the Rhine was such a bonus. If you choose to go here, good choice!
Cons: They do an amazing breakfast with a posh breakfast tea included, I missed a Tetley T Bag!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and spotless, staff were fantastic and friendly. Very helpful with instructions for food and drinks. Breakfast was very good

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: No air conditioning; outside was 40 degrees, the room was like an oven. The lady serving breakfast was kind of rude, looked more like a soldier that a waitress. The elevator doesn't go all the way; I had to take my luggage up the stairs. Stains all over the carpet in the room and in the corridor.

Pros: The manager and staff are lovely, accommodations clean, bed comfortable, breakfast plentiful and delicious and location very convenient. As you walk out the front door of this quaint pension, you look to your left, and there's the mighty Rhine! The pension is on a quiet street, across from a green park and steps to the river. A few minute walk in the other direction, and you're at the train station - it's a convenient, perfect location! The accommodations are clean, bed comfortable, a lovely presentation of breakfast with plenty of meats, cheeses, delicious, fresh German rolls and breads, coffee and juices, yogurt and eggs from happy hens. All you could ask for! Best of all, is the friendliness of the manager and staff. They are accommodating, super friendly, and just the nicest people. This is along the most beautiful part of the Rhine river, with great hiking right at your feet. It's a great find!

Pros: The ambiente of the house was quiete cosy and convenient. The staff very forthcomeing and friendly.
Cons: A lift would add tremendously to the comfort for senior citizens. Same for a parking facility closer to the property.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The hotel was really nice and really clean.
Cons: The hotel charged us twice the price for these two nights pluse an additional 10 Euro. That was a mistake by them which I am trying to fix by the help of Booking. We will be careful about payment for the next visit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good 3-stars hotel with easy access, located near the train station. There's also a public parking lot with plenty of space nearby. Although the window of our room faced the station, we weren't even for one second bothered about the noise. The breakfast was very good and everything was fresh.

5.0 Okay
Cons: Reception was in manned at most times owner was very rude.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Only continental breakfast
5.5 Okay
Pros: The comfy beds
Cons: The attitude of the staff when I parked around the back of the hotel on my motorcycle to let off my partner to go and check in and find out where to park. They were quite rude and annoyed that we were stopped there, we were going to move it we had to stop somewhere as the road outside the hotel was very busy. Also the breakfast was poor to other places we have stayed before around the same area a few flies landing on food that wasn't covered very off putting.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Price was competitive even for a last minute booking of an event at the Nurburgring. The manager gave us the code for a late arrival, which was very helpful. Shower is huge. Breakfast very complete.
Cons: Private parking is a bit small and was full, but there is a large vacant parking lot on the other side of the street.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: We booked 2 rooms, they were on the ground floor which was nice because we didn’t want to take the stairs. Unfortunately in one of the rooms the bathroom was downstairs!!!!, you had to take a spiral staircase. Our children stayed in that room with which I really wasn’t happy because I was afraid if they had to go to the bathroom during the night, they would fall down the stairs. The size of that room was ok but ours was very small, it didn’t look at all like the ones posted on the net.And there wasn’t any mention of a room with a bathroom downstairs. At check-in we received four guest cards which entitles you to several discounts in the city but they didn’t tell us that they would charge us for that( I found that out at check-out) but they were only supposed to charge guests who were over 18 but our children(14 and 16) were also charged.
