Pros: Great hotel. We will def stay there again in the future. The spa was lovely as well.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice place to stay in Sonoma.
Cons: You could hear everytime someone walked up stairs from us, a bit noisy.

Pros: I liked the pool and the staff. Taylor at the front desk was super nice and took care of everything.
Cons: There's no elevator for luggage and most rooms are up stairs. The restaurant bosts of using only local ingredients, but the fruit bowl in the morning was pineapple and mixed melons... not really your local fruits. Was hoping for berries and cherries and stone fruit that was being sold at the farmers market. Also the late check out fee was steep.
Pros: Awesome location, walking to all thes best spots. Good restaurant too
When you stay at El Dorado Hotel, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Sonoma Plaza and Quarryhill Botanical Garden. After hanging out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, guests can grab a bite to eat at El Dorado Kitchen, which serves Californian cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. A bar/lounge and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks and bathrobes.
Pros: The grounds of this Property were immaculately groomed and fountains, potted plants, and bushes were so attractive. The walkways meandered through property and included a lit Bocce Ball court and a walking trail. Our King Bedroom included a patio facing the vineyard accessed by an attractive doorway. Our room was nicely decorated and included two stuffed arm chairs for our comfort. We also had a credenza and a work desk with chair. There was plenty of room and the bathroom was very nicely appointed. We ate in their dining room which was beautifully lit with tiny lights and elegant décor. Food was fabulous and plenty of choices and excellent presentation. Every bit was delicious. We also ordered one breakfast through room service and our eggs benedict were perfect! Coffee hot and O.J. cold and flavorful. Complimentary bottle of wine & 2 waters. We would definitely stay again!
Cons: This is not really a dislike, for me the large bath was a little tall but my husband loved it. It was a nice oval soaking tub in the shower enclosure. They had grab bars for safety so that was easy.
Pros: The hotel is 20 minutes from everything. At first I was nervous that it was right off the highway but that was nothing to be concerned about. It is very quiet. Views are of the adjacent vineyard. The grounds are lovely and full of surprises (like the bocce court). The food was fantastic (the main restaurant and John Ash). The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. Best value in wine country.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
Nestled among 90 acres of vineyards, our European style estate is the ideal environment for business and pleasure. Adjacent to the Inn is the nationally acclaimed John Ash & Co. restaurant and The Front Room, our new Bar and Lounge. From the warm welcome to the Old Style Service, the ambience and the beautiful vineyard surroundings, we are confident youll have a memorable experience. This is also the perfect location to explore the wine appellations of Russian River, Dry Creek, Alexander and Sonoma Valleys.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The cookie jar was a nice touch! Parking was easy.
Cons: The bed was not comfortable, and we had to ask for softer pillows.
Pros: The rooms were clean and charming. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast and Hors d'oeurve were more than generous and delicious! My husband and I will be coming back here.
At Inn At Sonoma - A Four Sisters Inn, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Sonoma Plaza and Quarryhill Botanical Garden. Guests can enjoy the spa tub or take advantage of nearby hiking/biking trails. Nice touches like fireplaces, MP3 docks, and comfy beds with premium linens are offered up in all rooms at this romantic bed & breakfast.
Cons: No spa appointments available. No TV. Not a sophisticated staff for a reasonably expensive hotel.
Winner of the Conde Nast Gold List award in 2012, Kenwood Inn and Spa promises a premium experience and puts you within a 10-minute drive of Quarryhill Botanical Garden and Jack London State Historic Park. Guests can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or body scrubs, and Italian cuisine is served at Restaurant at Kenwood, which is open for breakfast and dinner. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale inn offer up nice touches like fireplaces, iPod docks, and pillowtop beds with down comforters.
Pros: The garden was ok. The beds were pretty comfy.
Cons: Rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, on a busy street, basically was a really expensive road side motel. Not worth the money! Would NOT stay here again.
Pros: The pergo flooring made it feel clean
Location to Sonoma
Cons: It is an older hotel
Pros: Great staff, comfortable bed, and good complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Lighting in the room was poor.
El Pueblo Inn puts you within a 15-minute drive of Sonoma Plaza and Quarryhill Botanical Garden. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and indulge in spa services. Other highlights include a fitness center, a spa tub, and a seasonal outdoor pool.
Bungalows 313 offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Sonoma Plaza. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms offer up nice touches like premium bedding, down comforters, and bathrobes.
Pros: Location can't be beat. Super close to the plaza and across from a strip mall including a Whole Foods.
Cons: Sloppy cleaning services, subpar breakfast, 15-min timer for bathroom light (can't take a longer shower without stepping out to turn on the light again!!) and general outdated-ness of the room with carpet that needs updating. Despite the great location I will not return, as there are more cons than pros here.
Pros: Close to the plaza so within walking distances for everything so very convenient. Loved their patio set up with fire pits and that we could walk out from our room.
Cons: The floor above us must have had a family of kids bc we could hear them running and jumping early in the am and as we were getting ready for bed.
Pros: This hotel is in a great location just around the corner from the Sonoma Square. We had a room that opened up to the pool, making my kids very happy. The room itself was spacious and clean, a good value. We will definitely stay there again.
Cons: it was a fine hotel.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable
Cons: Pillows were very uncomfortable
Room outdated - bath had chalk on top of chalk
Toaster in the breakfast room needs to be replaced NOW. Waiting over 5 min for toast to pop up with a line behind you is NOT good.
Pros: Sauna by pool and hot tub was a nice touch, outdoor lounging space, convenient access to Sonoma square and town.
Cons: Breakfast was mediocre continental.
Cons: I was very taken back being next in line when the desk clerk asked how he could help a guest who waltzed up to the counter. I was waiting my turn & felt the person who was already staying there should not have precident over me who was next in line before them. Should I have to wait if every guest came down for something before the person in front of me was finished? If not, when should it be my turn? I would have walked out after being treated that way if I hadn't already purchased the room before arrival. Otherwise the stay was pleasant & quiet. I may return.
Pros: location, services, full breakfast
Cons: had a very difficult time adjusting room temperature at night. one side of bed much too cold other side much too hot. had to do with air circulation from air conditioner.
Cons: Old run down place.
Pros: The rooms are on the larger size
Cons: The room was dark and dingy. Don't eat the breakfast! The food is horrid. We chose Best Western because of the reviews, don't do it. We wanted to enjoy the pool, but there were leaves floating on the pool and it was expensive.
Affordable for area
Cons: Dingy Dated interiors
Thermostat in awkward position
Pros: I liked the close proximity to the downtown area and the free breakfast.
the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating.
Pros: Staff very knowledgable and friendly
Cons: Parking too expensive

Pros: Staff at this hotel treated us like royalty throughout our stay. Our every need was met, and service from check in, to room service, to placing our bags in a new room when we moved to a bigger room on our second night, to the outstanding server at breakfast each day, and to the shuttle driver to the airport was first rate.
The rooms were clean, updated and spacious.
Parking is ample and the hotel is in a nice area, next to a vineyard. Will absolutely stay next time we are in the area.
Cons: Only negative was the noisy parents and kids slamming their door on the deadbolt next door to us our first night. The hotel dealt with this effectively as soon as we complained.
I have NO complaints about the hotel facilities or staff, which is rare. This place does everything right.
Pros: Clean, great staff.
Pros: The staff was great and everything was very clean.
Cons: The beds are a little weird. I couldn't tell if the dial did anything and they were never explained.

Cons: The bathroom is in need of a remodel. The shower is incredibly small.
Pros: The friendliness and cleanliness
Cons: No complimentary breakfast
Pros: Attentive staff and very accommodating.
Cons: They couldn't pull our reservation into their system so we ended up with a handicap room that was all they had left.
Pros: The cottages allowed for great privacy. We loved that folks had their dogs. Next time we'll bring ours! Staff was super friendly. Great location .5 m from Sonoma Square.
Pros: Nicely appointed room, superior details.
Excellent, responsive staff.
Nice resort facilities, good location, shuttle to downtown Sonoma.

Pros: Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Close to the conference venue. Good continental breakfast.
Cons: Near homeless shelter and location of parking lot.
Pros: Charming old hotel, right downtown, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. 4 blocks from Russian River Brewing
Cons: Old tube type tv, room small by today's standards. Neither was a problem, I didn't come here to watch TV, and with the age of the hotel the room size is expected.
Pros: Charming boutique hotel...good restaurants in walking distance and the charm of great wine country
Cons: Little mold in shower, could not get extra towels delivered. Had to goto lobby for ice and towels. Only provided towels for 2 of 3 guests
Pros: Loved the convenient location, ease of parking, and closeness to amenities. Liked that I felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Looking forward to staying once the Smart Train starts running all the way to Larkspur. You could park the car & never move it for an extended stay. The free breakfast was a bonus & quite delicious.
Cons: Lots of street noise; took one night to get used to. Slept much better the second night.
Pros: very near to good restaurants, clean, quiet
Cons: I made 3 reservations under one name hoping we would all have rooms in the same building. Front desk person said the hotel thought it was only one person and they did not put all of us in the same room - did not make any sense.
Pros: The outside of the hotel look cute and historical. The inside is other story.
Pros: The hotel had a vintage turn of the century look & feel to it. An being this was a honeymoon stay my beautiful bride really appreciated the classic feel it brought to our honeymoon. This was very centrally located from everywhere we wanted to go. Most of the restaurants we went to were either a short walk away or a very short drive away. Access to & from the freeway was very simple which made it that much better for day trips which we took several.
Cons: There was a few things that I did see that was troublesome. An that was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Along the ceiling was what appears to be either small buildup of water stains or mildew. Other than that the hotel was very good. The other issue I had was by no means within the control of the hotel but it is still an issue. Every morning & everyday we were there all we heard an saw was the yelling from the local transients in the park across the street from the hotel. That was a big issue I had every time I dropped of my wife at the door to go park the car. I can't he but think that one would try to harass or rob her as she's walking inside while I'm parking our car across the street.
Pros: We found La Rose Hotel to be very welcoming and immaculate. We liked all the light in our room and the large marble bathroom. The parking was conveniently located nearby. The hotel was near excellent restaurants and interesting shops. We enjoyed all the fresh fruit offered as a part of the complimentary breakfast buffet.
Cons: The water for tea was not hot, but when asked, they promptly remedied the problem. It would add a nice ambiance if music was played during the breakfast hours.
Hotel La Rose puts you within a 10-minute drive of Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate and Gardens. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 9 AM. Other highlights at this historic inn include a terrace and a garden.
Cons: Accommodations need improvements! Very tired and creepy and we were moved twice because of room's condition. First was dark and depressing wing, next was not much better and third was best there was and only difference was location on property. It really desperately needs updating to be worthy of the grounds and staff!
Pros: Staff was great and willing to help out whenever possible
Car service was complimentary
Wine evenings with complimentary wine tastings
Hotel texting service
Free waters when heading out, great when going out for wine tastings.
Cons: Not well insulated rooms which made it very cold.
Occasionally some barking
Self Parking gets filled quickly in the evening but they offer complimentary valet
Pros: Nice room, great old building with solid walls (nice and quiet). Great facilities (spa and hotel pool were great). Great staff, from housekeeping to valet to spa staff. Had a great time and would stay again.
Cons: Old building means no elevators or ramps, which made getting around with a baby stroller difficult. Didn't like that you had to pay for wifi, and although they had free wine tasting you had to pay for the snacks. When paying for a high-end experience it is a bummer to have to pay for things that would be easy and inexpensive to provide, like wifi and light snacks.
Cons: Too loud with Wine poll party with loud music till 10:30pm
Pros: Was hesitant, as I chose based on stars and reviews alone - but this place was Amazing in every way. The grounds are beautiful, the staff was the kindest and warmest we've been greeted with in awhile and always ready to lend a helping or advising hand. The local town (square) was a beauty as well and while small, the stores, food and wine can keep you there all day. I'd highly recommend this place again and can not wait to come back!
Cons: $15 internet charge ruined the stay. Would have paid higher room charge, but the extra charge was a hassle and made the place feel cheap. A bad business move.
Pros: Friendly staff, well manicured grounds.
Cons: Paper thin walls and floors, dirty room complete with hairs in bathtub and bathtub that did not drain, poor on-site parking, false advertising in photos on all major booking sites.
Pros: Lovely setting
Room was nice, but not 4 star - aging furniture, bad fluorescent lights,
Spa facilities are fantastic
Cons: Slow check-in process -- front desk never called to tell us our room was ready despite taking down number
Santé restaurant didn't live up to "michelin starred" reputation
Room not as spacious as advertised
Cons: No elevator
Only a few of the staff need more training in customer service, starting with those working at Spa
Pros: Loved my upgraded room. Bed was awesome. Short drive from downtown Sonoma. Concierge emailed me a list of wineries and restaurants that was very helpful in planning our trip to wine country.
Cons: Original room I booked was tiny. Upgraded for $75 more per night to a room half the size. Needs a bigger entrance sign. Immediate surrounding area looks questionable, but glen ellen and Sonoma were a short drive away
Pros: Decent room. Spa was nice.
Cons: Service was poor. Left an item in room that was gone 30 minutes later and no one at hotel responded to our calls or emails. Just poor customer service.
Pros: Loved the bed and pillows and the property
Cons: Terrible cell reception. At these prices we shouldn't have to pay for internet, which is also terribly slow
The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn-Spa is the ultimate elegant oasis-blessed by natural mineral hot springs in the heart of the California Wine Country. The Inn has a 40000 sq ft Willow Stream Spa and an 18-hole championship golf course that is home to the PGAs Charles Schwab Cup. For hundreds of years- ancient thermal mineral waters have graced this site. Today- our resort is proud to be one of the only luxury Spa resorts in the country with its own source of thermal mineral water.
Pros: I loved the scent of the toiletries, the comfortable bed, and the delicious coffee for the Kuerig. There was even creamer in the rooms refrigerator. The restaurant across the way is very good but also very pricey. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had everything we wanted or needed. Really likes the communicating with the front desk by text. Look forward to our next stay!
Cons: The fan in the bathroom was pretty weak, but seem to get all of the steam from my shower.
Pros: Clean & Elegant
Pros: Very comfortable and well appointed rooms.
Cons: The decor was decades out of date.
Cons: Overall experience doesn't match with price by a long shot. Holton above the hill much better luxury and value. Best asset you have is extraordinary concierge.
Pros: The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Cons: Their ad did not indicate their pool and hot tub was closed for the winter. We were very disappointed to find this out when we checked in. They offered us passes to the FountainGrove club, which was nice, but if we'd known in advance they had no hot tub on the property, we would have gone elsewhere.
We've been to this hotel many times before, and were disappointed with how it's changed.
Pros: • Interiors are set in modern decor rarely found in hotels on this price range
• Room I stayed was clean, spacious and had no odors
• Staff were helpful
• Plenty free parking space in front
• Location is great for visiting wineries in Northern Sonoma
• WiFi signal wasn’t good in my room so I had to be in lobby area to get better connection. This part needs improvement. The staff acknowledged this issue and are working on to improve it.
• Breakfast (not complimentary) is served in a restaurant on the first floor
Overall, Fountaingrove Inn is a nice place for the rate I paid. There were negative reviews in the past but I think the hotel has improved since. Regardless what other booking web sites rate this hotel 3 stars or 4 stars, the rate you pay reflects the quality. You just don’t pay a hundred forty dollar room and expect the place to be like the Hilton - then you just move up to the next budget level of $200+.
Cons: Bad Wifi connection in my room.
Pros: Heated Pool, Great bedding and comfortable bed, Keurig Coffee Maker, plenty of complimentary newspapers in the morning.
However, cheap toilet paper and scant coffee condiments in the room just didn't seem to match the rest of the decor and hospitality. These two little things would be so easy to improve on....But in the meantime, bring your own coffee creamer!
Pros: REally liked the location and the staff was really nice and fun.
Cons: I felt like the hotel was overpriced.
Pros: Nice location/value with friendly staff and very comfy beds. A no brainer if in the area.

The towns of Sonoma and Healdsburg are in Santa Rosa's backyard as well as the popular wine regions of Russian River, Sonoma Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. Sonoma Wine Country boasts over 300 wineries, many within a short scenic drive from the hotel.
Pros: High ceilings comfortable bed private patio helpful staff very clean and updated lots of space
Cons: No wifi
When you stay at Sonoma Creek Inn, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Sonoma Plaza and Quarryhill Botanical Garden. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Creekside Cafe, which serves breakfast and lunch. Rooms offer refrigerators and free WiFi.
Pros: Facility is nice, clean and staff especially the housekeeping was very friendly and available.
Cons: Parking, the lot is dark and spaces are far from entrance if the building.
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms, great food and beverage options, and super welcoming staff made this hotel one I will visit again next time I am in town.
Pros: Salad and other produce was fresh. My friend ordered regular black iced tea and they brewed it fresh for her and gave her the extra in a cup to go.
Cons: Salad was a little tasteless and the salad dressing was extremely thick. The dressing did not easily poor from the small pitcher it was served in.
Turkey sausage for breakfast lacked much flavor. Fruit substitution at breakfast was extremely small portion. The cut up fruit was served on the plate in a separate cup and the cup was about half empty.

Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, and met our needs (we just needed a simple place to stay before an Ironman race).
Cons: There was a $10 parking fee, which seemed odd as this isn't a city with limited parking. There were huge parking lots, so this just seemed like a bit of greediness on the hotel's part.
Pros: The front desk was very polite handling my complaint and agreed to refund half of my room charge if Kayak initiated the reduction
Cons: Mold poisoning
Pros: The rooms were nice really clean but the corridors and walk ways looked old and needed a updating.
No big deal it was overall a very nice hotel.
Cons: updating of carpet and stairways.
Cons: Old falling apart furniture
Cons: Cobwebs in corners of bathroom

Pros: The location was perfect (right in the main square), and it's right above the mos popular restaurant in town: The Girl and the Fig. I loved the staff and the decor in the rooms... so cute! I also really liked that there wasn't really a television. It's perfect for quality time!
Cons: Everything that was lacking you sort of should already be aware of when you sign up for a boutique B&B: no TV or room phone; light street noise (because it's on the main town square), no designated parking (again, because it's on the main town square).
Pros: I did a vacation with my mom and we had a wonderful time at this hotel! The staff was extremely helpful with all of our needs. I highly recommend this hotel! Additionally the location was right in the square!
The Sonoma Hotel puts you within a 15-minute drive of Sonoma Plaza and Quarryhill Botanical Garden. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out the restaurant, and the bar/lounge is the perfect spot to grab a drink at the end of the day.
Pros: Me and my gal had a great stay here. It was a short walk to the downtown square where we enjoyed tasting wine without having to worry about driving. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were cozy and quiet. Very relaxing :)
Cons: The coffee was a little weak...
Pros: Sonoma/Napa is a pricey area. For the price of an OK hotel room, you can stay at this traditional B&B. For the money, it's a no-brainer.
The staff recommendation to check out the Tuesday night farmers market was a real winner. Don't miss out on the food, music and dancing.
Cons: Parking spaces are very narrow, but it is only a problem if the place is full. I suggest that you back in, so that it is easy to pull out of the lot.
Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn puts you within a 15-minute drive of Sonoma Plaza and Quarryhill Botanical Garden. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily.
Pros: The one younger girl working was very nice! None of this was her fault. The Management should have stepped in !!
Cons: We reserved a king room that was one of the most expensive rooms available in Santa Rosa. We arrived and checked into the room on a friday evening. When entering the room it had a extremely strong cigarette smell. So I went and told the front counter that we needed to get a different room. They said everything was booked except a room with 2 queen beds. I said we booked a king room for me and my girlfriend so this was not acceptable. I called every other hotel and everything was full by this time in the afternoon. Now the room wasnt bad but if your going to charge top dollar you should give people what they want. Also we ordered room service breakfast and a wakeup call and never received . This place is not living up to the Hyatt name. They should have offered a discount or something if there gonna downgrade me and basically say this is what you get. I felt like I was forced to pay 300+ dollars or be homeless for the night. I will be staying across the street at the Marriot next time.
Pros: Had a very pleasant stay. Rooms were newer, pool and hot tub were nice. Excellent location- we walked to dinner/drinks. Short drive to wineries in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa
Cons: There was a total lack of attention to detail and lack of response to travelers staying there. It took two nights and my taking a picture of my bed and threatening to send the picture to corporate for the Hyatt to use a mattress cover and sheets that were big enough to fit the king bed so that they would stay on through the night. Then when we needed to order an early breakfast room service and needed the card to put on the doorknob, it took three calls and we still had no response and no breakfast card. We needed to go to sleep so went to bed without being able to order our room service breakfast. This was harmful to us in the morning with our early meeting/tournament. Even simple details like having regular coffee packs and decaffeinated coffee packs in the room they were unable to accomplish. Offering us one free breakfast was not sufficient to make up for the mess the hotel is in. They give lip service to telling supervisors and handling problems but they do not.
