Pros: The complimentary breakfast provided was very nice, even had fresh fruit!
Cons: The location was a bit out of the way. We like to walk everywhere so it was a bit of a walk to get to the "old town" section of St. Augustine, maybe a two mile walk?? If you don't like walking a taxi ride is inexpensive, about $8.00 one way from the hotel to the "old town", we chose this mode of transportation at night.

Pros: Clean rooms, hardwood floors, really good price for the clean updated rooms, fantastic included breakfast (not just your average cereal and toast... We had sausage, pancakes, eggs, home fries, cheese grits, etc.)
Cons: No elevators, ice machines were far away (downstairs, around the corner and behind the building), shower only

Pros: It was clean, clean & most of all clean! Close to tram pickup.
Cons: Housekeeper showed up at 8:30am!! We miss you seed it every day we were there. Check out is 11, why is housekeeping coming so early when we're sleeping?!

Pros: Each employee we encountered was cheerful, helpful and kind. From the front desk staff, the breakfast room and housekeeping, everyone was positive. As we were packing up the van to leave, our six year old was restless and upset and one of the housekeeping staff members reached out and gave us a box of tissue. It was such a kind gesture! We would stay again at Southern Oaks Inn.
Cons: It’s hard to find something to criticize during our two-day stay.

Pros: The pool was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The breakfast included things like chocolate chip pancakes and cheese grits. The staff at the front desk was friendly and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Pros: Plane was delayed by 7 hours. I get a phone call from the hotel offering a refund for my first night. They didn't have to call, but they did. No other service (car rental, etc) that I had reservations wouldn't give me a refund, let alone call to ask if I wanted one. Front desk folks were nice gentlemen. They respected all my requests and were cheerful to be around.

Pros: Very friendly staff, clean rooms, had a frig and micro in room (we used frig to store food brought), nice location, restaurants walking distance (also gave us discount for), grocery nearby, beach nearby, it was perfect for us!
