Good: Breakfast, hot tub, bed was comfortable, hot shower worked well. The air conditioner was not adjustable at all. Some of the lights did not work well. I prefer to have a window that opens so possibly should have requested that. Also, there was some mildew in the tub molding.

Pros (+) The hotel is in a great location and the lobby is well cared for.
Cons (-) The room left something to be desired. There was mold on the bathroom walls, the shower/tub drain was broken off and the vanity sink didn't drain properly. Overall, the room just felt tired and could definitely use a refresh. If you have the option, I recommend you stay somewhere else.

Pros (+) Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a nice feature and my granddaughter loved the pool though it was small for an adult who wanted to do laps. I am planning to come to MN every 3 months or so to visit family and will book at SHS.
Cons (-) A little noisy in the mornings, could hear people in the adjoining room talking.
