9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Boat clean and tidy
Cons: No cafetiere to make coffi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay from the beautiful boat to the location .
Cons: There was nothing not to like
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Boat was fantastic in the right location would reccomend this to anyone
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, felt quite tucked away, but only a short walk into the city centre and to the railway station. The boat was cosy and clean, and it was lovely sitting on the deck.
Cons: It was odd that the directions for finding the place were completely designed for people driving, and not that easy to follow if you approached on foot. You would think (and hope!) that plenty of guests would be arriving on foot, given the excellent public transport connections, and being just 10 minutes' walk to a major railway station. Greater attention to sustainability would be good generally. It's not good that places are still using miniature plastic bottles of shampoo, plus individually wrapped tea and coffee sachets and mini UHT cartons, when they could be using refillable bottles, jars etc.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Toilet could have been better. Must block very easily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the wharf - cafe, bar and close to the city centre.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Picturesque and tranquil, very well organised, with a cosmopolitan bar, and a cafe a stones throw away. Would love to visit again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, just a shame we didnt get longer as we had to rush off crack of dawn.
Cons: Having to come home
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything words not required

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Leafy setting, close to university halls of residence, so ideally located for parents like us delivering 1st year student for fresher week. Mostly young staff, all friendly, obliging and polite. Coffee machine and giant cookie jar (sometimes empty!) on each floor. No bath in our room, but very good shower, which has almost converted my bath-loving, shower-hating spouse. Breakfast and attentive service excellent.
Cons: Shower plughole blocked, so had to keep turning shower off to allow water to drain away - very slowly. Much to my wife's annoyance, bathroom extractor fan refused to switch off, keeping her awake. No view from our particular room, unless you consider a flat roof populated with air-conditioning units a view. No clean cups left at coffee-making station even at 7:30 am.

Flabbergasted!

Pros: The hotel was well situated for our purposes of an overnight break travelling from London to Northumberland. Leisure facilities were compact but good. Room was well equipped. Good toiletries and refreshments. Robes and slippers provided. Sofabed was made up ready to use. Nice big comfortable bed. It was a nice touch to be given warm cookies on arrival. Walking distance of a pub (sizzling chain) and an independent Italian restaurant (Ferdinandos).
Cons: We were very happy and had no significant complaints.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely garden, clean rooms, professional staff.

Pros: New management since I was last here, but the same great welcome, excellent breakfast, and the pub on the ground floor is comfortable and airy with good beer selection, and a nice terrace at the back. Your hosts are friendly and cheerful. The rooms are plain but nicely done out and clean.
Cons: I didn't find anything to not like!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff are really friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable and very clean. As a female , lone traveller, I felt safe.
Cons: I booked this hotel for two reasons . It is on the tram route and I could have my evening meal there in the evening. The track is currently being replaced, so no direct route to the Arena and when I arrived at the hotel,I discovered that due to the lack of a Chef , there would be no evening meal. Both these things made my already long days more tiring.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice pool and good breakfast. The door separating the entrance from the bedroom helps to make it extra quiet.
Cons: For our family of four we booked two rooms both with a double bed and a double sofa bed because that was what was recommended on booking.com. There would have been more than enough space in one room so we were rather annoyed to have spent so much money.
6.5 Good
Pros: Convenience for the city centre and not too far from train station.
Cons: Don't expect any commanding view as the room overlooked the adjacent museum roof. Shower was blocked and separate WC from bathroom with cracked cistern lid.
