The hotel is in a convenient location near downtown, shopping and restaurants. Parking can be limited and chaotic at times with the amount of traffic. The staff is courteous and friendly, especially the older lady in the gift shop.
There were leaves in front of our room for the entire 3 nights we stayed. Also, there was a newspaper sleeve in front of our room that was never picked up. We had also requested an upper level room when we made the reservation, however, upon check-in we were given a room on the ground floor. The bathroom sink faucets also leaked during our stay. The guide on the television is not user friendly and does not match the channels.
The beds are very comfortable, the rooms felt spacious and were clean. The staff that we ran into we're pleasant and helpful. We have stayed at Litttle America several times before and have always had an enjoyable stay there and plan to go back in the future
The exercise room needs to have better treadmills and a fan. It gets uncomfortably warm.
I think there is a wide spectrum of rooms, but I stayed in a Tower Luxury room on the top floor which was truly luxurious and a great deal for the price. This is a great alternative to staying at the Grand America next door- same luxury for 1/2 the price. The view of downtown from the private balcony was spectacular. The staff is top notch. The lobby is delightful. Outstanding stay- best I've had in SLC.
Convenient, Clean, Nice amenities, Great staff.
The bed and pillows were pretty good. Pool looked nice. Lobby was very nice.
The hotel is divided into 2 sections, the tower and a motel type setup. We stayed in the motel parts. The bathroom was horribly dated (pink tile) that looked like Grandma's house. The air-conditioning was a bit under-powered as well.
The Concierge was very helpful and provided excellent recommendations and information on Salt Lake City and Park City.
My fiancé and I were on a road trip from Montana to California and needed a place to stay last minute, so we checked kayak. We booked Little America on the freeway exit into Salt Lake with little expectations but we're pleasantly surprised by the convenient location and experience. It was very clean and comfortable. The pool looked nice as well. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Salt Lake.
Location, price, amenities
We love coming to little America. As extended families
Great location, close to downtown and parking was included.
Basic old fashion room. The door lock did not work properly.
We liked the spacious and very clean feel. It's a timeless hotel and they have taken great efforts to keep it feeling historical but still updated.
It's a big price to pay for no real inclusions. There is no compilntary anything. So you are paying a lot of money to just sleep in a nice room. Our main reason for choosing this hotel was our 5 year anniversary.
It was 90+ degrees in Salt Lake City during my stay. The air conditioning unit was old and barely put out cold air. Their only solution was to bring me a fan! Even the A/C engineer admitted that it was hot, and all he could do was bring a fan. Because I had to put the fan on the floor, it blew up dust from the carpet and made my allergies flare up.
Clean, quiet and relaxing.
the door locks and the bathroom faucet handle
Wonderful bed Crisp clean sheets Spacious Rooms Best stay in Salt Lake Amazing brunch, spendy in price yet exceptional
Check in gal could of been more customer service friendly Pandhandler hit us up for cash in parking lot Stairs to our room made luggage a hassle
Room was clean.
Very loud, up all night due to loud talking outside room. Staff did nothing. I called front desk three times and they still didn't resolve it. Bed was very uncomfortable also.
free parking free internet
ick. it felt and looked old and musty. room clearly had water damage and you could hear pipes running all night long. carpet was old and worn. was motel-style rooms, instead of a high-rise hotel like the mariott or comparable. coffee machine was missing a piece to it, which was a real bummer with my early wake up and such a long haul to the main building.
(Breakfast) food was excellent! Available pool & sauna was great - just disappointed didn't get to use because too tired @ the end of each day.
Was disappointed that for $110/night, at least there should be a complimentary "continental" breakfast!
Old small room no fridge or microwave
Although they have nice rooms, they also have old rooms similar to a motel. That is where they put me.
Old smelly building
The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect. It's very close to everything.
The room was decorated like a retirement home. The AC was not great, which is essential during the summer months. It was nothing special for the price they charged.
