I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Also, the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The restaurant served delicious breakfasts. The coffee urns in the lobby/outer restaurant area were a welcome treat. I especially liked the water bottle filling station near the lobby. I would have one request: an upgrade to the toilet tissue in the bathrooms. I would so much prefer a softer type.

Cons (-) House keeping kept knocking on door throughout trip despite do not deserve sign. Room of 5-7 very drunk women being loud and disruptive throughout the night. I definitely did not think it was a party hotel when I booked it. Didn’t get much sleep as a result. Not what I was looking for.

Pros (+) Historic hotel on Nob Hill. Friendly and helpful staff! Comfortable beds. Beautiful suite and view of the city. Able to open windows for fresh air/breeze. Keurig available for morning coffee/tea. Electronic “do not disturb” and intercom for door security. Convenient to Masonic Center concert venue and two cable car lines. Restaurant choices conveniently located in hotel and nearby (2-3 blocks).
Cons (-) Not a big complaint or huge discomfort, but we like to sleep in a cool room but the thermostat would not let us lower temp below 60 degrees.
