Cons (-) Despite informing them of a birthday celebration during dinner, there was no recognition. Many people I have spoken to, said that when told about a birthday they make some kind of recognition. Disappointed.
Pros (+) I've always wanted to stay here but never had the opportunity. The experience lived up to every aspect of what I hoped it would be. My uniquely decorated room was not only fun to look at, but I slept like a dream. The surrounding grounds are beautiful, with a Secret Garden and good restaurant/bars. The pool is also beautiful -- that's where I decided to watch the sunrise. Great experience!
Pros (+) I took my 16 yo granddaughter for her first trip to California ...she absolutely loved the Madonna inn and didn't want to leave ...she loved everything about this hotel

Cons (-) Almost non existence service, rude staffs other than the couple at the registration counter. The room has no curtains or shades, except stained glass window. The lights are so bright outside, making it impossible to sleep at night! The heater in the room is extremely loud. The place is so poorly insulated and drafty, that you don't have any choice but to turn it on in winter. This place is a over ...

Pros (+) There are li me 200+ rooms to stay in and each one has a different theme to them! The foods is great and the overall feel of this place is comfort! The staff were very nice and helpful.
Cons (-) The breakfast was a little burnt but that is the first time eating breakfast there...I just hope it was a fluke!
