Purple

A hotel that is located in what was originally one of the Capuchin Monks’ old abbeys, Purple gives travelers a unique experience in a hotel that offers character, beautiful views of the Bay of Naples, and really affordable room rates. Many of the towns that are known across the world are not far from this location, including Pompeii, Naples, Amalfi, and Capri.

Purple has 18 rooms. They are set into what is considered to be a beach bed and breakfast. The rooms are bright with a lot of natural light. There are furnishings made of dark wood and flooring made of terra cotta tiles. All rooms have air conditioning, showers, bidets, hairdryers, TVs with satellite channels, and free WiFi. Housekeeping services rooms daily. Many rooms have views of the sea.

All guests get breakfast included with their stays. There is a restaurant and a bar at the property. Purple also has a coffee shop and a snack bar with light grab-and-go type items. The local area has many different options for restaurants. Ristorante Moonlight is three minutes away, as is Ristorante La Marinella. Il Ruttino serves seafood and is a minute further on foot. Vesuvio Roof Restaurant Sorrento serves Mediterranean food.

The warm months of the year allow guests to enjoy the seasonal pool on the property. For getting away from the hotel, there are moped rentals on-site. Guests can rent a scooter and go explore the area. Attractions there include Piazza Tasso, Marina Grande Beach, the Gulf of Naples, and Museo Correale di Terranova.
